### "Easy and Reliable Event Management"

August 19, 2026

5.0

I’ve used Eventbrite to manage the full process from publishing an event to registrations and attendee communication. Payments and ticket confirmations work smoothly, and the automated emails reduce a lot of manual follow-up. I also find the interface easy to navigate and the reports useful for quickly checking sales and attendance. Support resources have been helpful when I’ve needed clarification. Considering how much of the event workflow it handles in one platform, I’ve found the overall value to be very good.

Pros

Event creation and ticket management are very easy to handle, even when setting up an event quickly. I especially like having registration, payments, attendee emails, and basic reporting in one place. The dashboard makes it simple to track ticket sales and attendee numbers without having to use separate tools.

Cons

The fees can become noticeable for paid events, especially as ticket volume increases. I also think some of the reporting and email customization options could be more flexible. These haven’t been major issues for me, but more control in these areas would make the platform even better.

Alternatives considered

[Cvent Event Management](https://www.capterra.com/p/26318/Cvent-Event-Management/)

Reason for choosing Eventbrite

Eventbrite felt easier to set up and manage than the alternatives I considered. The combination of ticketing, registration, payments, attendee communication, and reporting in one place was the main reason I chose it.

### "Eventbrite is the ideal software for new or casual event organisers."

July 23, 2026

4.0

Overall Eventbrite is a well-rounded software for ticket selling and event promotion. It integrates with plenty of other software. It also makes processing payments very straightforward if you don’t have separate payment systems set up as Eventbrite handles it all.

Pros

Eventbrite is very quick and simple to get set up and selling tickets straight away. I like that it’s a well known and trusted platform which is great for new events.

Cons

The fees are high in comparison to other ticket selling platforms. Also the marketing features aren’t great in comparison to other options.

Alternatives considered

[Ticket Tailor](https://www.capterra.com/p/112510/Ticket-Tailor/)[Fever](https://www.capterra.com/p/10034553/Fever/)

Reason for choosing Eventbrite

I now use Ticket Tailor as my main ticketing software. However, at first Eventbrite was more suitable because it was simpler to use, had all the payment systems built-in and had some built-in marketing. Ticket tailor only became a better alternative once I was more established and the volume of events became such that I needed to find something with lower fees.

### "Worst "Customer Service" in the U.S.!!!"

August 7, 2025

1.0

I have spent almost 4 hours trying to get a resolution to what should have been an easy process!!! 3 "customer service" representatives...no knowledge and appearing to, truly, be incompetent!!!

Pros

Weekly Payouts. That's the only thing I can address positively. I welcome others' recommendations for a company doing this work that is competent!!!

Cons

Absence of knowledgeable and/or competent "customer service" representatives. No human contact, only chat.

### "Easy-to-Use Event Platform with Strong Reach"

June 22, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Eventbrite was positive. The platform is user-friendly, reliable, and effective for creating, promoting, and managing events of various sizes. Its strong brand recognition and large user base make it easier to reach potential attendees, while the streamlined ticketing and registration process enhances the attendee experience. Although the transaction fees and limited customization options can be drawbacks, the convenience, accessibility, and comprehensive event management features make Eventbrite a valuable tool for event organizers.

Pros

What I liked most about Eventbrite was its popularity and ease of use. The platform is widely recognized and trusted by both event organizers and attendees, which helps attract a larger audience and increase event visibility. Additionally, its intuitive interface makes creating, managing, and promoting events simple, even for users with little technical experience. The streamlined registration and ticketing process also provides a smooth experience for attendees, making Eventbrite a reliable and efficient event management solution.

Cons

What I liked least about Eventbrite was its fee structure, which can become expensive for paid events, especially when processing large numbers of ticket sales. Additionally, some customization options for event pages and registration forms are limited compared to more advanced event management platforms. The reporting and analytics features are useful but could provide deeper insights and more flexibility for organizers who need detailed performance tracking.

Alternatives considered

[Splash](https://www.capterra.com/p/143666/Splash/)

Reason for choosing Eventbrite

I chose Eventbrite over alternative products because it offers a strong combination of ease of use, brand recognition, and comprehensive event management features. Its intuitive setup process, built-in marketing tools, and seamless ticketing system make it simple to create and manage events without requiring extensive technical knowledge. Additionally, Eventbrite's large user base helps increase event visibility and attendee reach, making it a practical and reliable choice compared to many competing platforms.

Pros

It was easy to set up events for our non-profit while having everything in one place. Being able to have different tiers of ticketing and pages describing each while also accepting payments for those tickets.

Cons

Setup was a bit bulky for us and the mobile app was pretty buggy with intermittent issues here and there with loading things we needed.

### "Eventbrite, amazing for hosting events"

August 12, 2026

5.0

From a functional standpoint, Eventbrite is the undisputed gold standard for plug-and-play ticketing, particularly for local meetups, workshops, mid-sized community gatherings, and promotional pop-ups. It removes almost all the technical friction of getting an event online and collecting payments.

Pros

User-Friendly Interface: Setting up an event is straightforward, even for beginners, and the checkout process for attendees is smooth and intuitive. Built-in Discovery & Reach: Events are listed on Eventbrite’s searchable platform, which helps organizers reach a broader, pre-existing audience without relying solely on their own marketing. Seamless Ticketing & Management: Features like customizable ticket tiers, automated confirmation emails, and real-time sales tracking simplify overall event coordination. Mobile App Convenience: The organizer app makes handling check-ins, scanning tickets, and managing day-of operations from a smartphone quick and efficient.

Cons

High Fee Structure Per-ticket costs: Eventbrite charges both a percentage fee and a fixed fee per paid ticket, which can significantly cut into profits unless passed on to attendees. Add-ons and processing: Payment processing fees are separate from Eventbrite’s service fees, making total transaction costs higher than many competing platforms. Payout Terms & Cash Flow Constraints Delayed payouts: By default, standard organizers do not receive ticket proceeds until 3–5 business days after the event finishes, creating cash flow challenges for upfront venue or vendor deposits. Limited Page Customization & Branding Generic design: Event landing pages offer limited styling, font choices, or layout controls, making it difficult to match a distinct corporate or brand identity. Competitor exposure: Eventbrite actively recommends other nearby events on or around event listings, potentially diverting attendees to competing events. Restrictive Customer Support & Data Access Customer service access: Reaching live phone or responsive chat support can be difficult, particularly for smaller tier organizers. Email & marketing limits: Built-in email marketing tools have strict send limits and minimal automation capabilities compared to dedicated email platforms.

### "Easy and Reliable Platform for Event Booking"

July 19, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Eventbrite has been positive. The platform is reliable, easy to navigate, and makes booking tickets for events simple and convenient. I appreciate the smooth registration process and timely email confirmations. While there is room for improvement with fees and event discovery, it has been a dependable platform for finding and attending events.

Pros

I liked how easy it was to discover and register for events. The platform is user-friendly, ticket booking is quick, and I received confirmation instantly. It also made it simple to keep track of my event details.

Cons

Some events have additional service fees, which can make tickets more expensive than expected. I also think the search filters and recommendations could be improved to make finding relevant events easier.

### "Easy-to-Use Platform for Discovering and Managing Events"

August 14, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Eventbrite was positive. The platform is easy to navigate, event discovery is convenient, and registering for events is generally straightforward. The main drawbacks were occasional service fees and some limitations with search and filtering, but overall it provides a reliable and user-friendly event management experience.

Pros

What I like most about Eventbrite is how easy it is to discover, organize, and manage events in one place. The interface is simple, event search is convenient, and the ticketing and registration process is straightforward for both organizers and attendees.

Cons

What I like least about Eventbrite is that some events have relatively high service or booking fees, and the search and filtering options could be more precise. It can also be difficult to compare similar events quickly.

### "Easy-to-Use Platform for Seamless Event Planning"

June 6, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Eventbrite has been very positive. It’s a reliable and efficient platform that simplifies event planning and ticket management. Despite a few minor drawbacks like fees and limited customization, it’s still a great tool for hosting and promoting events of all sizes.

Pros

Eventbrite is very user-friendly and makes it easy to create, manage, and promote events. I like how simple it is to set up ticketing, track attendance, and share events through social media. The platform is intuitive, even for beginners, and it helps streamline the entire event planning process.

Cons

The service fees can be a bit high, especially for smaller events or tight budgets. Additionally, some customization options for event pages are limited, and it would be nice to have more flexibility in design and branding.

### "A great solution for those starting out with event organization!"

February 4, 2026

4.0

It's a great solution if you already have an audience. It has a very organized event managing process that can let you start in less than 1h. You can customize tickets, integrate it within TikTok (very useful for targeting GenZs and Millennials) and define differente prices and descriptions. You don't have to pay a service, since they only took a percentage from the tickets that you sell.

Pros

EventBrite is a good solution if you are going to organize events. It has no cost upfront and a lot of feature to customize you events. It is quite easy to use(although some options may change position over time) and has some strong integrations with socials

Cons

It has not a good indexing of the events. Basically if you think you can get new people just by getting on eventbrite, you won't. It's not made for that as you have to do a lot of posts and ads to get it launched

### "Great for a startup business "

February 23, 2026

4.0

Overall good experience for a long period of time. We used this for workshop registrations before we built our own landing pages and funnels

Pros

I love the fact that you can have people signup for your event for free. You can have an event description, set max number of tickets, and collect emails too.

Cons

A lot of times people get spam registrations and there doesn’t seem to be a way to resolve that. That’s a reason we stopped using it

### "Great tool for social, personal, & professional growth and experience!!"

August 22, 2025

5.0

Eventbrite has helped me grow in my career field, expand my knowledge, and support my clients. I use it as a resource tool both personally and professionally. It has been amazing to see all the classes in the arts, mental health, and addiction. I also feel as it is so easy to navigate.

Pros

I love the ease of the website and app as well as the abundance of activities and events. Whether you want to do something social locally or you want to listen to a webinar and learn about something in your career field, personal growth, or mental health. They even have a ton stuff you can do for free so it you can still connect with others while remaining on a budget. Their customer support is extremely helpful and quick to respond. I haven't come across any bug or issues while using it other than finding too many things that interest me and not being able to make up my mind on how much I can realistically participate in. I love getting email notifications of new topics and events related to my areas of interest. I recommend Eventbrite to all my clients, family, friends, and use it often myself. It is a good way to build social supports and interact with others in the community. It's also great for networking!

Cons

I didn't find much of anything I didn't like other than I find too many options of events in my interest and don't have the time to do everything that I want. However, that is more so about me and not any fault with Eventbrite.

### "The Easy Way to Sell Tickets, If You Can Stomach the Fees"

June 19, 2026

4.0

My overall experience with Eventbrite has been highly positive when it comes to the logistics of setting up and launching an event. It acts as an incredibly reliable tool for handling registrations and communication, though the platform's rigid structure and pricing model leave room for improvement.

Pros

Five stars for ease of use! Eventbrite’s interface is clean and user-friendly, making ticket creation and management a breeze. The automated email confirmations and event reminder notifications are a huge time-saver and provide great communication for my attendees. Highly recommend!

Cons

The ticket fees can be quite high, especially for smaller events or independent workshops. When you add up the platform's service charge and payment processing fees, a significant chunk of the ticket revenue is lost, which makes it harder to keep prices affordable for attendees.

### "Perfect to Use When Looking for a Fun Night Out "

April 30, 2026

5.0

Overall, I have had a positive experience with Eventbrite. Using the search and filter option to find events based on location and genre have been easy to use and navigate. Paying for the events through Eventbrite have been easy to do as well.

Pros

What I like most about Eventbrite is how it takes into account your location and suggests you events based on that instead of you having to filter the events that don't suit you.

Cons

Although I did say the best part about Eventbrite is how it considers your location to suggest you events, I will say it limits your options to your closest city of choice instead of suggesting you all the options in all the cities close to you.

### "Satisfied end user"

January 28, 2026

5.0

I have always found the platform easy to use and I have never had trouble booking onto events using the system, and the tickets it issues have always worked.

Pros

As an end user of Eventbrite over the last 8-9 years, I have always found the platform intuitive and easy to use. From using the platform to book onto events as part of my MBA programme to booking tickets for the family, the platform works well. I have never required support from customer service, such is the ease at which the platform can be used and the confirmation emails received after placing a booking is useful, especially with tools to quickly add events to your calendar. As an end user the value for money is exceptional, as no service charge is payable in my experience, when making a booking. The platform appears to be bug free (which is rare) and I have never encountered an issue with booking tickets.

Cons

There’s very little to dislike. It just works as expected. If I were to try very hard to find something I dislike, it would be the layout of printed tickets, but this is entirely trivial and it in no way impacts the use of the platform.

### "Good product for beginners"

January 21, 2026

4.0

My overall experience with Eventbrite was good. There were no hidden fees, the setup was easy, and it allowed me to set up virtual events with tickets for my non-profit webinars without any hassle.

Pros

Eventbrite is easy to use, free, and intuitive for first time event planners wanting to have options for online tickets. They allow for multiple types of ticket options which is the reason I went with eventbrite and because they have a free option.

Cons

I was unable to set a minimum donation ticket amount when using it for non-profit events. I could only have a “pay what you want” or a set ticket price.

### "Global Platform but not for Local Events??"

May 7, 2026

4.0

Okay but not the best for a small, rather niche business. It is easy to get lost on a global platform like Eventbrite, and again the payment terms were prohibitive.

Pros

I liked the status of Eventbrite as a recognised platform for booking events - very much the go-to page. Easy to use and navigate for putting up workshops and events.

Cons

The payment terms were too long as far as I was concerned. As a small business cash flow was not supported by the delay in payments that were only made five days after the delivery of the event.

### "Likelihood to recommend"

March 15, 2025

5.0

from my experience, i see Eventbrite as a dependable platform for event management, particularly in the aspect of an easy-to-use tool for organizing events and managing ticket sales.

Pros

Eventbrite has a user-friendly interface, It is easy to use in terms of payment. It supports different ticket types which include free, paid, early bird, and VIP tickets. Eventbrite also integrates with various payment gateways.

Cons

Eventbrite imposes a service fee on paid events, which can accumulate quickly. This fee structure may be a disadvantage for organizers, especially when hosting large events. In addition to the service fees, Eventbrite also takes a percentage of ticket sales, which can lower the overall revenue from paid tickets.
