Pros

I am a HUGE Eventbrite fan! As an event planner I use it for a variety of events to support my various client's events!

Cons

NO cons! It's a super user friendly tool to navigate event dates, ticketing, updates and more! Fabulous tool for every occasion!

Overall, our business had a good experience with Eventbrite and it was the only way we attract event registrations for over two years until upgrading to go high-level landing pages

Pros

We were able to create events, allow registrations and track registrations for free, which was a game changer for our startup business

Cons

Sometimes the set up for each event didn’t work the way it was intended, and some of the buttons for editing. The event weren’t where you thought they would be.

We ended up switching to High Level landing pages for event registrations after using Eventbrite for two years. We have pipelines built out for continued nurturing, which is the main reason. Our landing pages are also customizable with High level.

I have spent almost 4 hours trying to get a resolution to what should have been an easy process!!! 3 "customer service" representatives...no knowledge and appearing to, truly, be incompetent!!!

Pros

Weekly Payouts. That's the only thing I can address positively. I welcome others' recommendations for a company doing this work that is competent!!!

Absence of knowledgeable and/or competent "customer service" representatives. No human contact, only chat.

It's a great solution if you already have an audience. It has a very organized event managing process that can let you start in less than 1h. You can customize tickets, integrate it within TikTok (very useful for targeting GenZs and Millennials) and define differente prices and descriptions. You don't have to pay a service, since they only took a percentage from the tickets that you sell.

Pros

EventBrite is a good solution if you are going to organize events. It has no cost upfront and a lot of feature to customize you events. It is quite easy to use(although some options may change position over time) and has some strong integrations with socials

Cons

It has not a good indexing of the events. Basically if you think you can get new people just by getting on eventbrite, you won't. It's not made for that as you have to do a lot of posts and ads to get it launched

Overall good experience for a long period of time. We used this for workshop registrations before we built our own landing pages and funnels

Pros

I love the fact that you can have people signup for your event for free. You can have an event description, set max number of tickets, and collect emails too.

Cons

A lot of times people get spam registrations and there doesn’t seem to be a way to resolve that. That’s a reason we stopped using it

My overall experience has been wonderful. When I have my events there, the tickets feel better and I can set it up and then forget about it for a while, so I don't have to check in with it every day and make sure everything's working. Everything works just as it should.

Pros

It is so simple to use! It's very clear how to do everything and they have a AQ if you need any help or chat. And everyone's already on event brite looking for something so my event has more of a chance of being seen.

Cons

It would be nice it would if it was free to do some advertising, but of course that doesn't exist. Other than that, my experience has been all good!

I’ve used Eventbrite for organizing and checking out events, and overall it’s a pretty solid platform—especially if you want something simple to set up and manage.

Pros

Easy to set up events You can create and launch an event pretty quickly without needing anything too technical. User-friendly interface Everything is laid out clearly, so you’re not wasting time trying to figure things out. Built-in ticketing system Handles registrations and payments in one place, which makes things a lot easier. Good exposure for events People can actually discover your event through the platform, which is a nice bonus.

Cons

Cons: Fees can add up Depending on your pricing, the service fees can cut into your margins. Limited customization You don’t have full control over branding or the look of your event page. Support can be hit or miss If something goes wrong, it’s not always the fastest to get help.

Overall, my experience is good and I would recommend this as a tool. I have used it for place and concerts and events that I go to.

Pros

It’s easy to use and to download the tickets. It also showcases upcoming events . I think it’s a great resource for events .

Cons

Nothing. Well I don’t recall it being QR code friendly for events I believe you have to print tickets still or at least the last time I used it.

Overall my experience as a user has been really goo, but when it is the organizer things needs to improve.

Pros

I like about eventbrite is the free option to publish events, and how easy can be to add extra information to guide the user.

Cons

The platform doen´t let to personalize too much your event page. It has a delayed in the payments, that can male ech event a little caotic.

The customer support is absolutely awesome. If there are any bugs you might be experiencing it is so easy to get someone on the phone to speak with.

Just the color palettes available were not to my liking. I couldn’t find one that was customizable and I enjoy making things that really fit my vibe

Overall, the ease of use and promotional capabilities were good but the ever-increasing fees led us to go with another platform.

Pros

It is pretty much the standard. It's easy to set up a series of events (collections) and you can have different ticket types. People can "follow" you so they get an update when you create new event. They promote your event with similar ones across the site. The few times I had to contact customer service went well. It's easy to email all registrants

Cons

There are two main drawbacks. One, the site is so complicated that you can fall down a rabbit hole just trying to change one detail. Two, while you get a lot, the fees are very high and they keep going up. Either your guests cover them or you have to. We ultimately went with another platform, Zeffy, where fees are optional. Another lesser issue is the Organizer app doesn't have much functionality beyond checking people in. You can't make changes like event banners or description.

### "Effective but Not Efficient"

I use Eventbrite for ticketing for training events as it helps me to collect data on the student in advance and I like that the emails can be generated and automatically sent out. On the negative side, Eventbrite is a bit clunky. You really have to learn how to set everything up and I end up copying and pasting a lot of data from one area to another. For example, if I want to send out a reminder email a few days in advance of the event I have to copy and paste my information to the email set up. It would be nice to have a checkbox that would allow you to copy this data to an email and then edit the email without having to copy and paste. Another issue is that the navigation of the user interface is not easy. You really have to know the (many) places to go to set up your event. Eventbrite works great but it can be clunky to operate. It is effective but not very efficient.

Pros

Eventbrite is a good ticketing and event tool. We use it for training classes because it allows for scheduled email reminders and updates for our students.

Cons

I wish Eventbrite had the option for keeping some things the same or basically having default settings so that you don't have to retype everything. Another need is that I would like to have it where I could automatically send the event description details to the email templates so I didn't have to copy and paste these.

Fantastic platform, has free options, and it can be a tool for small businesses and charities as much as for large companies or organisations. Easy to use and has a lot of useful options.

Pros

Eventbrite has a lot of options available for all types of businesses, even small charities, as it has free options related to events that I struggled to find elsewhere. Easy to use and manage. A a user, I love search options as I sometimes search for free online training - I just simply pick a subject and select only free and events and there is always a lot to choose from.

Cons

It used to have options to offer £1 instead of free tickets as we didn't want people to book a lot of tickets just because they are free, but now every paid ticket has some fees, but I guess £1 isn't free so it is fair, but in our case we refund the £1 because the ticket is for something we give for free, but now we have to pay the small fee ourselves, at least that is my understanding. It all makes sense, of course, but we have to pay to give people something for free, and now it has become a problem for us as a charity. But it is still the best platform, and we couldn't find anything better, so we keep using it.

I have used Eventbrite to find events in my area, to share and post events that I am hosting, and to procure tickets for events.

Pros

You have a variety of options for tickets. You can offer free tickets, or tickets at cost, or VIP tickets. The type of ticket is only limited to your creativity.

Cons

Sometimes, when you search for a certain type of event, such as a conference, the options it shows you for conferences are not conferences. The same happens with workshops.

I have been Eventbrite product user for a while now and what i can say, the software is worth it. The software has eased events management from hosting to ticket management. Although we have not fully integrate the software with our other systems, integration capabilities of the product are amazing.

Pros

I like customer services of the product, they are awesome due to their timely response and professionalism. The software is also super easy to set up. The other thing that i like about the software is its seamless ticketing processes events planning.

Cons

I have not experienced downsides when using Eventbrite. The software has served its purpose. I highly recommend it.

Big events and smaller events use Eventbrite for a reason. It's as scalable as you need it to be, but very user friendly for both hosts and patrons.

Pros

Event set up is very easy, even for smaller promotions and organizations. It has easy to use templates to help market the event effectively. We were able to notify and market to our followers to build awareness to them and to groups beyond.

Cons

After learning the basics, it's always a good idea for your admin to dig into the details of the finer points in the preferences. Even little tweaks can improve the experience for both attendees and for promoters.

Pros

Eventbrite is so convenient to use. Simple search to find events, workshops, shows in areas around you and near by.

While it was a good product to sell tickets on my website, I prefer to use Humanitix where the fees go to good causes.

Pros

Being able to sell tickets on my own website with ease as well as creating own images and copy for the event.

Cons

I don't like all of the fees even though you can pass them on to the buyer. They seem high. I found Humanitix where the fees go to good causes.

Ideal for setting up events at low cost. Easy to make an account and create a post with all of its details.

Pros

It was pretty easy to set up an account and the fields were very easy to populate. This has incentivised us to keep using for multiple events.

Cons

Image frames for events and posts are a fixed size, and not always the size of the posters we've made, meaning we need to add boarders. Some flexibility here would be nice, but not needed.
