I know a lot of events on here are bigger such as concerts, art shows, etc., but ANYONE can use it. Whether it's for your personal use or not! Pros We have a lot of company wide events. We use Eventbrite to track RSVPs mainly. It is very easy to use and the site lets you do more than just put a time and date. We especially love the password option. Even though a lot of our events for our employees are free, we like to have a password so non-employees won't show up. Cons Even though are events are free, you still have to put in your card information. We wish it was more of a 'click RSVP' and you're done, but attendees have to put in their card information, which slows down the process. Our employees are very busy people, so busy that they may get lazy and not RSVP due to the steps. This is a very minor problem though. I also like the integration with Facebook so people can purchase tickets directly from the Facebook event page, reducing the click throughs required. Keeping track of event sales and available tickets is a powerful tool, along with guest lists that can be customized along with reports on event attendees and attendance. Cons Certain features and options require a paid account. We have a small operating budget and need to work with the free account option so we are more limited. October 30, 2023 5.0 Pros Eventbrite is very useful for ticketing needs and registration for an event is a breeze! Our events used to be cash on demand but now we are able to reserve spots in advance and even walk a customer through the ticketing, day of. The scanning feature works for both printed tickets and tickets on the phone, it made the entry process to our events much brighter! Cons Sometimes finding our event amongst other events happening on the same day was cumbersome for some of our customers. It's designed to be the place where attendees go to find local events, so it's very user-friendly! Pros Eventbrite is designed to be easy for both the event planners and the attendees. It has a a very user-friendly set up that will make event registration fast and simple for attendees, and set up will be painless for event managers. Cons While the event set up side is designed to be easy for event planners, I do wish it was a bit less simple in it's offerings for email communications. November 21, 2019 5.0 Overall I love Eventbrite. I use it multiple times a week and our whole team uses it for all of our events. It is easy to be a host when all the information for your event is in one place. Pros I love that there is a free version available! We host many events, and Eventbrite gives us a venue to issue tickets, track attendees, and promote our events. I like that it's easy to create events, customize options, & order forms. You can print attendee lists an other reports, which really makes this a one-stop shop if you are hosting an event. I also like that there are paid options available to integrate with your already existing CRM platforms. Cons The only thing I can think of that I can knock on with Eventbrite is that sometimes it's hard to hide your events from those other than who it is intended for. It's a simple fix if you check a box, but if you forget it creates a mess of canceling orders for those who may already have your event information. Pros As a user and also having set up my own events, having used eventbrite to do so, I would say is the best event manager out there. As a User: Getting into any event is very easy to do, it also has a great network where you can scroll other events near you. As a Client: As a client using Eventbrite is easy, the whole process is very intuitive and you have many tools to track your audience and ticketing. There's no reason not to use it. Have an event you want to sell tickets to something? Use Eventbrite. Buying tickets? Use Eventbrite. What are you waiting for! Pros EventBrite seems like it wouldn't stand out well, in a sea of other event apps. Yet here's the thing, when it comes to getting your tickets (not seats per se), this is the best app! From local plays, to wine-n-paints to film festivals, EventBrite make it all easy. Search for an event locally or in another state. Pay either with a card or several 3rd party options. Need a refund, they take care of it in the app. Cons There's a couple small little negatives that trip up the experience. It is very useful, as an organizer, to keep track of everything. As a user, I find it very cool as well. Pros I like that Eventbrite allows you to organize events, distribute the tickets, keep track of the public, check them in and have some cool analytics on it. Everything in one place! It allows you to send the invitation, check to see if there were bounces, who has clicked and many other things. In our Google Developer Group, we also send a lot of emails to our public to remember them what to bring or the calendar of the event. It's very cool Cons The event's description editor is very poor and lacks a lot of features. They should copy Medium ( as for the part of editor tools ). Furthermore, compared to Craigslist, the fees they take from the tickets are big! Another feature they lack is the complete integration with Google Pay. I understand that they want you to use their app to explore and check-in but it would be super cool if the user could add his/her ticket from the Eventbrite app into the Google Pay one. They also send info to Crowdrise for the peer-to-peer fundraising. Pros It is easy to utilize and set up for any event we have. Cons It is a bit outdated on how it merges with our CRM and the features. We use it for endurance events and banquets but endurance events are harder to tailor and they are better at ticket events. Pros There are multiple features that have been useful with this software. Specifically, the ability to interface with various platforms and how they are integrated within using the software. For instance I love the fact that eventbrite allows you to advertise your events via social platforms and it’s a built-in feature. Cons There’s not much that I do not like about this software. Having the invitation on eventbrite gave me the platform to send invitations in many different ways. I could send the link through text messages, FB messages, or email and I was able to get the word out quickly. I loved how eventbrite kept track of all my attendees, kept their email, sent them a reminder email in the days leading up to the event, and gave me an opportunity to save the information after the event was done. I liked that the attendees got paper tickets they could print out, or electronic barcodes that we could have scanned. It makes them feel like it is truly an organized and official event and makes them more likely to attend because they have registered. Pros I love that this is a free, easy alternative to using social media groups and events. More and more people are getting off social media and it's great to have an evite that can be sent to people's email. I liked how easy it was to create an event, upload a graphic that was beautiful and custom to my event, and get emails as people signed up. Cons I didn't use the purchasing feature, so I didn't have a chance to try out that. My tickets were free so that eliminated the potential hassle of collecting payment and doing refunds. There is not a whole lot to complain about with this website, I enjoyed using it and would do so again.
