It is very easy to navigate through. You can easily find events in your area such as big concerts as well as smaller events. It also allows you to view virtual events. It offers you plenty of payments options as well so it is very easy for you to make payments for the event you are going to be attending. Cons As with all event-based apps, it is hard to full find a correct location. The only issue I have had with this software is that sometimes it loads very slow and the location isn't always so accurate. Reason for choosing Eventbrite I chose to use Eventbrite because of the fact I can accurately see all of the concerts in my area. They also show you all of the Upcoming events and show a countdown so you can prepare for your event. I love the ease of creating and managing my projects. More so, it's easy for users to reserve tickets to my events and that is important because people will abandon anything too difficult or time-consuming. Pros I love that Eventbrite allows the creation of free events without a fee and the fee for paid events isn't very expensive. I use the product when I'm hosting community events without a fee to attendees and when I'm having paid events. I can easily add the registered attendees to my email subscription list for future contact. Cons Thus far I have no real cons with Eventbrite. I can't think of one. November 27, 2018 5.0 Pros It feels like I have been using Eventbrite for years...I don't remember a time before it! I use this site for both personal and professional use. In my personal life, I use it to book and register for events I am interested in attending. When I want to find unique activities happening in my city, I always go to Eventbrite first. I have used this site many times in the past as an organizer, since I am an Event Planner. Eventbrite is so easy to use and helps track me attendance, allows me to send follow up emails to attendees, processes payment from guests...it has been an absolutely lifesaver to me and I could not recommend it enough. When Eventbrite was used for our events, they all resulted in money makers. Cons One huge issue is that they don't have a way to make a template for event set up so you have to start fresh for each one. If you do a recurring ticketed event this can be a pain. I was using a draft event as my template and just copying it when I make a new one but they changed something else which made me not able to use it like that anymore. Also, when I called customer service they told me a template was on their list of needs but it would be minimum 2 years before they even started to address it. Review Source Pedro R. Also the organizer app seems really useful even though we did not use it. Cons It may be a bit confusing to set up an event because of the way the platform is organized. Pros One of the things l like the most about this software is how easy is to create your event and customize it at the same time. Whenever I have to create an event I can customize however I want therefore it doesn’t look repetitive and boring. I also like how people are able to register for the event which gives the and idea of how many attendees I will have at my event. Cons One of the least things I like about this software is that it can be a little intimidating when you first start using it. You will need to play around with it in order to create striking events. Very useful for presentations and networking events. Cannot stress enough how much I love having a map attached to the app -- I could get lost in a paper bag, and it's really helped me get the most out of conferences. Pros \-Free, easy to download and set up -All the right details can be added in one place -- Time, date, RSVP, about, and a map is included. -I really like that it shows additional events in your location -Users can add profiles, so I had the option of following or contacting the organizer about any future events they may host. Cons I can't say that I've come across any particular reason for not using Eventbrite in the future. Whether it is a large charity gala or an office Christmas party, Eventbrite is easy to use and makes organizing very simple when accommodating guest preferences. Pros There are a number of options you can include when sending out event invitations. Minimal hassle for set up. You are able to track ticket sales in real time. It eliminates manual tracking. For participants, all the information they need is ready in one location and tickets are distributed right to their email. Cons The app is great. However, when using the computer you need to sign in for every event email you receive and multiple accounts can't be linked. One email address per account and you need to sign in every time. Cons The fees are fairly high, so especially for larger and higher priced events, this cost ends up being significant. I also wish it would integrate better with other mainstream software, like Hubspot - although you can create smart lists, you still need Zapier to transfer over attendee information.
