I am able to coordinate more openly and easily with the participants throughout the events. An automated Email Campaign works just flawlessly. When COVID happened I was very worried about my upcoming workshops but everything worked so smoothly that even after COVID I am not going back to those old email marketings. and campaigns. Pros Adopting and using Eventbrite for managing my events turned out to be fruitful. Really like the way how participants get confirmation email quickly that gives them a good amount of satisfaction just in seconds after registering for the event. Cons I have been told by some of my participants that they were not able to search for my events through the Eventbrite search page. Although after writing about the same to the customer support, the issue got resolved I personally think that this type of error is not good as it affects the event ticket sales quite a lot. November 23, 2021 5.0 I've used Eventbrite for years to promote and organize my own events around the city and it's been great. It makes it so easy to create an event and sell tickets. And its mobile app makes it even easier to check in and move around the event. I paid for an upgraded account to get more features and it's been totally worth it. I love how it makes it easy to track ticket sales and payouts. I've used it for both personal and business and can't recommend it enough. Pros Eventbrite is a great platform to use for event promotion. It lets you set up and manage your events and allows users to find and register for your events. Any event can be listed on the website for free, and once live, tickets can be sold through the site, including via mobile. If the free version is not enough for you can pay the pro plan, I think it is worth it. Cons Probably if you hold many events monthly, the free plan will be not enough for you, but I think the pro plan is totally worth it. Review Source Rosalia G. " March 19, 2019 5.0 My overall experience with Eventbrite has been great and I would highly reccomend for others to give it a try. I know that whether it be a corporate or nonprofit, many other organizations have found it to be extremely useful as well. Pros What I really like about Eventbrite is how easy it is to create events. Whether it be a paid event or a free event, the whole process of creating and listing an event on the site and then getting people to register is an extremely seamless process. I have used Eventbrite to organize one school event and it was great because we were able to get a general idea of how many people we were expecting to show up! Cons There's definitely not a lot of ways that Eventbrite can get your event a lot of attention unless you share it on social media. For small events, this can be particularly hard to get attention from people that may not be in your immediate network. Pros They have done a good job in localizing the event nearby and categorizing different event types, easy access and also user friendly interface. Cons I do have some minor issues, sometime the website will be slightly slow and lagging. August 20, 2019 5.0 I have used Eventbrite to manage RSVPs for very small, free events up to multi-thousand dollar galas. It makes the processes of ticketing, collecting information, and checking in guests at an event incredibly easy. Pros Like the headline says, the best part of Eventbrite is that you can go from sign-in to selling tickets in minutes. The workflow is solid and easy to use for a simple event, but allows a ton of customization for advanced users. Cons As amazing as the feature set is, it takes quite a long time for pages to load on the backend and I hoping that gets improved at some point. The multi-user system also needs a bit more work--it looks like it hasn't been updated since I started using the software back in 2012. Evenbrite makes it easy with simple steps. Pros I love that tickets for major concerts or just local concerts can be use with this software. They are really easy to use and will help you resolve any issue within 24 hours if needed. I like that the tickets aren't paper an all you do is show the event staff your barcode from where you purchased the ticket, and you are good to go. Cons The only thing that I didn't like is that if you have a rain out concert, you might not find out until the start of the event. This is only the only issue that I have had. April 24, 2018 5.0 Free registration tracking program with little or not cost. Historic tracking of member engagement with our events. Ability to do credit card processing for paid events, while still getting free access for events with no ticket costs. Pros Eventbrite doesn't charge for events that don't have a registration fee. It gives me a full-featured registration program for my non-profit's events so I can track flow of communication, know who signed up and track event participation across the year. We only pay fees for the events that have an associated cost for attendance. Cons The software is so robust, there is a significant learning curve and it can be easy to miss one of the fields for communication that goes to attendees. Recently, there was a poorly worded addition to the Terms of Service that caused a bit of a flareup....claiming IP rights to things way out of line!....but management rolled that back pretty quickly. (If staff have a desire to write ToS that is out of line, will it happen again after this flareup settles down?? Be vigilant...) Review Source AL Agnus L. From easy to manage organizer features and reporting options, to easy to find events and reminders for when they're coming up, Eventbrite helps me feel connected to the places I am, and helps me connect with the people where I'm hosting events! Cons I wish there were some more page customization options, as well as date options (for example to let someone know that the event occurs across three days, each day 9-3, but that it's one event, not three separate events) has been a struggle for us. It's easy to set up, share, and track. We can also download our attendee list in order to email them through our email software. There are excellent statistics and information that we can use to compare events and year over year results. Cons The fees continue to increase, so on some ticketed events we only receive about 65% of the gross sales. The app only shows gross sales, so we have to remember to do the math to see our actual net income. We often pass the fees on to our attendees, but in some cases that inhibits ticket sales. Also like Evetbrite because it's easy to navigate and can be as detailed as you want it. Pros I like Eventbrite for for attending events because it allows me to see how many people are attending the event and even categorizes the events for me. If I'm looking to send out a professional business event to my database, Eventbrite would definitely be on the top of my list to use. There's more structure there as opposed to like sending the event invitation via personal email. Pros I use it to set up events and to organize workshops. When my friends set up events, they usually use Eventbrite to send out invites and it allows the event planner to keep track of RSVP and sends out the reminders and such. It's great because it's free for free events. Cons It's good but I mean there isn't a lot of software out there that really stands out. It's somewhat user friendly and people are used to using it so it's no wonder people use it.
