It's so easy to get your event up and running with minimal steps. They also make it easy to customize your event to stand out. We use Eventbrite for all our events. We recently had an event get postponed two hours before the event because of a sudden, unexpected snow storm. It became a complicated situation to resolve, but eventbrite quickly stepped in to help us get it sorted for the rescheduled date. Their team truly went above and beyond Cons That I can't add a sub user that already has account to my event. It means my team has to create multiple accounts to run different events for our clients. May 23, 2020 4.0 It is a simple ticking solution for our basic events that are typically contained to our internal audience or our partners. We haven't used it much for other public guests so we don't have a lot of problems that some others may with a different use case may have. Pros As a user, the best feature is how simple it is to set up a basic event and keep track of all the participants. All events held through Eventbrite have always received positive remarks from our guests. As an audience member, I've attended multiple work events that use Eventbrite and it has been very convenient when traveling for these conferences and meetings. Your ticket and event details for multiple conferences are all in one location, making it easier to navigate your week or even your year. It is useful for also looking back to see the events you attended. Cons The customization could be better improved for the event owner. It emphasizes their own platform and logo more than what the particular event is about. Lastly, it may need a refresh on UI workflow so that ticket options may be more accessible for editing. Creating event and personalizing ability. Can generate coupon codes which you can also personalize. Provides marketing at an additional cost. Can email invites through the site. Upload images and collects the funds and disperses within 7 days after event ends directly to your account. Can also share your event through some popular social media sites Cons What I found to be frustrating is once the event has been published it's hard to edit any photos that may need to be changed. Also if you assign a tag to be directed to a particular audience the tags did not match. I did reach out to CS but they stated it was a tech issue, once transferred to that department I got no response to my concern and the tags hadn't changed. This happened on more then 1 occurance with multiple events planned over a 6mon span and haven't seen any change as of yet into the new year. Review Source DM Denise M. It had the name recognition to keep people less than skeptical of the event. Pros Eventbrite is one of the better known platforms for invites if you are hosting an event. You can set up alerts to automatically email your guest list reminders to RSVP, to attend, etc. It is easy to register outside users who may not have used the platform before. Cons Not always the most user friendly. It can take a while to figure out all the features, and can be tedious triple checking that all the emails are set up correctly. Emails can also be filtered into the wrong folders in many emails platforms. As the person tasked with setting this up, I find the tool intuitive and easy to use. It offers me considerable flexibility in designing an event with numerous choices which make event set up real easy. Pros Eventbrite is an easy to use ticketing platform. Its user interface is very intuitive and allows the creation of a smooth experience for users going through the event registration and ticket purchase process. The tool has advanced features which allow automation of event reminders, application of coupons, site embedding, and integration with google maps. I simply love this tool. Cons I cannot really point out any flaws with this tool's event creation functionality. It does a really great job in that regard, but one thing I do not like is that EventBrite has an event discovery feature, which lists other events listed on Eventbrite. It eases up the life when it comes to buying tickets or subscribing to some events, scheduled and prepared in the app itself. Pros It is easy to use, a lot of people are using it to create/manage events, concerts etc. Cons I could not remember any cons about the product, that would be relevant. With it being so popular, everyone knows how to use it too. Cons I believe in 2018 they changed their policy and are now taking a larger percentage of profits from the event. As a nonprofit event planner, the percentage they were taking from ticket sales seemed unreasonable. We encourage people to purchase tickets in advance because it helps us plan the event, but we were only getting about 80% of the ticket price and out donors wanted to know why so we switched to a fundraising platform rather than an event platform. November 20, 2018 5.0 We have been easily able to set up a recurring weekly event registration with ease through Eventbrite. It probably took me 30 minutes to set everything up including payment options. Pros I love that it's a one stop shop for event registration. You've got your professionally designed event page, guests can pay for the event right there, print their tickets, and on the back end there's an abundance of analytics, records, and receipts that I don't have to worry about because it's all there. Cons This is just a little thing (and might be fixable) but in the event dashboard, when I want to look at past events, I wish it went in the order of most recent event down than first to last. Anyone can design, market, and sell tickets to any event using Eventbrite. It's a technology platform for self-service ticketing and experiences around the world. Also, it has a lot of flexibility in terms of plans and is simple to use even for beginners. Pros It is incredibly simple to use for a user; you simply select the event you want to attend, enter your email address, pay if necessary, and complete the checkout process quickly. It immediately emails you a confirmation, and you'll be notified or reminded of upcoming events. Eventbrite aids in the organization of your profile, which is available to social notifications, partner networks, search engines, and event mailings. More importantly, the technology enables you to better manage the event's money. Submitting an event as an administrator is simple; it includes automatic payment processing, so it's essentially the same as posting a regular post, with Eventbrite taking care of the rest. I don't have to send out individual invitations and wait for them to pay and confirm. Cons I don't have many complaints about this platform, however I do believe that customer service should be improved. Even though their response time is quite quick, I think it might be better. Pros Event Brite simplifies event planning. Since the pandemic, more and more events have had to switch to virtual platforms. This is led to the need for effective virtual event tracking options. Eventbrite had already created a great process for virtually planning and ticketing in person events. Now it is also very easy to provide tickets for and access to virtual events all in one place. Cons I really cannot think of any cons, any missing features with this software. I have used it as a participant and as an event planner. June 16, 2019 5.0 I like eventbrite because it's really easy to search for upcoming and and future events. You can find events happening today, tomorrow or within the next month. You can also search for events pretty much where ever you are and are travelling too. I also love that there's free events and very easy to rsvp to them. The website is very easy to use and everything is clear to see. The app is also very easy to use as well. I haven't created an event on there yet. But when I do have a need too I will definitely use eventbrite for my event needs. Pros It's so simple and easy to search for and buy tickets for events near me, or when I visit other places. Cons Honestly the fees for tickets, but I mean there's no tax so. November 14, 2022 5.0 As an event organizer, this is a great app or software. It allows me to customize the forms and events, and then promote them on Facebook and other places online (including my website) really easily. Pros As a Life Coach and Healer, I have created both paid and free events using Eventbrite. It is a user-friendly app and an easy way to create events of all sizes, whether they are virtual or not. It is also easy for participants to register, and it allows the organizer to collect information about participants and connect the software with PayPal to collect payments. I also loved being able to create an event and then promote it on Facebook and other places online really easily. Cons It may be a bit challenging for an organizer to create the FUP emails to send participants the information to enter an event. Pros Things that I like most about Eventbrite: I am able to organize and manage the events. I can also track events and the attendees using the analytics tools of Eventbrite. Customers are able to purchase tickets and select seats for events as well. Cons I don't think there is a feature that I liked least about Eventbrite, but I have never used the pricing feature of the Eventbrite software. All of the programs that are offered through my employer are free to the public; however, we do require registration for several programs that will typically have a high participation.
