Pros Easy to use, set up is very fast, widely used and searchable by all audiences and well known to many Cons It is not easy to integrate Eventbrite to other platforms. Even though integrations exist, these tend to be limited in features and configurations. December 14, 2021 5.0 Pros This is the best event planning software I have used to date. Very user friendly and has all of the features, plus more than you would ever need. Yet - easy to navigate. Pros I like that this software is so often used in my area for small events like little workshops to large scale events like music festivals. I like that it feels like your getting tickets to something more private in contrast to ticketing software that is so publicly viewed such as Ticketmaster. I like that this is software that any person can use to get work out about their event, it gives it a very "local" feel. Cons Given the nature of the local-feel, if you are simply pointed to the site because you have an event you want to go to and the link to tickets leads you there, its great. But I think as a standalone app, its not an excellent choice for browsing events as a lot of the ones that turn up are not narrowed down by interest as much as other apps in its category. Pros Barcode/Scan tickets to check in guests with real-time reporting to know who is in attendance. We use this for an awards banquet and we only acknowledge winners that are in attendance. Eventbrite never fails to let us know which Winners are in attendance by scanning everyone's tickets with our cell phones. Cons Finding some functions and specific reports are sometimes cumbersome, especially if you only go to those a few times a year- but this is probably because of the robustness of the system. Additionally, I have problems adding a user sometimes because they may already have an Eventbrite account. This prevents them from helping to use the scan/check in feature. That is a pro of the application. Their navigation system of looking for events seems fairly intuitive as well and if one is having a casual browse, the app does well in serving that. Cons While surfing the application casually can be easy, if one is looking for information in a pinch about an event, it can be a little difficult to find. Many events have to create special rules outside of the app in order to work around what the app lacks. You can invite people and create a space for information. It is widely used among many businesses. It is easy to find information and RSVP to events you are invited to, and it allows syncronization with Google Calendars to automatically add the event to your calendar. Cons As an end user, Eventbrite can be confusing and cumbersome. It also feels archaic and restricted to web. I am unaware of any mobile access or app for the service. I think it is the go to software for Event Coordination and Registration. Pros Eventbrite is easy to use and is user friendly. The product is so popular that we are all familiar with how to use it. I like that it is live data, every time someone registers you are notified and can maintain headcount for multiple purposes whether to ensure you have enough food or to see if you need to cancel and reschedule the event based on the progression of the registrations. Cons No con with using this software, I think its user friendly for the most part. However people can collect money for events doing other traditional methods but this cuts out that extra step. It allows me to meet many new people and establish new collaborations. Pros Eventbrite is a very suitable platform, especially if you want to create or join a community on a specific topic. It's easy to see and participate in upcoming events related to your interests. It is also nice to be able to share your views after and before the event as a participant. Thanks to Eventbrite's reputation, as a community administrator, you can easily incorporate many people into your community on any topic. This application allows you to create both free and paid-events. If you are enrolled in a subscription for a paid-event, you can choose to opt-out at any time with no additional fees attached, etc. Because of the increase in visibility, this application provides, we have received more registrants for our events through organic traffic (more than often our registrants come from direct traffic or referrals). Eventbrite also captures various analytics on your events (that can be viewed within the applications dashboard or easily exported) that help you analyze and understand your audience, where your traffic is coming from, and keep track of sales, etc. One of its best features is the availability to access details and analytics on your event at any time, from any advice, so you can save on time and focus on other important matters. Cons The free version does not provide you with the option to ask registrants questions when they are in the process of purchasing their tickets.
