It can be a good way to keep people in the loop and keep track of RSVPs, but I think the same thing can be done by making a Facebook event page. In the case that the people you are inviting do not use Facebook, then this is probably the most popular alternative. Pros Makes it easy to create an event, publicize it to potential guests, and receive responses via email. Cons The number of emails that you may receive can be very overwhelming and annoying. Pros Is beautiful to use. Eventbrite is very well designed, so it is very useful to understand how the things work. The best of Eventbrite is that is free when your event is free! So when I'm organizing a free conversation or conference i know Eventbrite is the best solution to distribute my entrance tickets. Even when is a paid event, Eventbrite only takes the 6% as a commission for the sell and it give me an event page to promote the event and an app to control the sales. Cons It could be amazing if Eventbrite implements more payment methods (I know you can use Debit and credit cards), that could be useful in no banked countries. Ingressos começando a ser vendidos às 14h (horário local) e, já no horário marcado, site apresentando instabilidade e quedas de conexão. Ao retornar, após selecionar ingresso e confirmar, não se chega à tela de pagamento devido à alta demanda e o site orienta a aguardar - sem nunca mais se mexer. Posteriormente, através do anúncio dos organizadores, se descobre que os ingressos acabaram, sem que o site da Eventbrite faça qualquer notificação. Ao atualizar a página, simplesmente tiraram do ar a campanha de ingressos para o determinado evento. Pros De fato, absolutamente nada exceto o layout do site, de fácil assimilação e boa interface para encontrar o que se procura e ir adiante na experiência de adquirir um ingresso. Cons Todos os demais pontos são péssimos, desde a estabilidade do site à fila de espera e às informações entregues ao usuário, que deixam muito a desejar em momentos de grande demanda. A fila não corresponde à real oferta de ingressos e usuários são deixados à espera em uma tela que não condiz com a realidade - os ingressos já podem ter se esgotado há muito tempo. Also, the customization service of the homepage is something that has enriched our company's experience. Pros The seamless process of managing the events, seminars or webinars, is truly amazing and super quick. It manages to remove the hassles from the POV of the admin. Personalization of the homepage is one other thing that I like the most. Cons Even though the software is free for most of the parts. Flawless customer service is only available for premium users. The fees are reasonable and we've never had a problem. Cons At first, we found it a little difficult to link Eventbrite to some of the other software we use, including our website, so that people could go to one place for registering. Cons Eventbrite is very much a self serve platform. They don't offer a lot of support, but the platform makes it very simple to manage all aspects of your event planning and registration. Cons The transaction fees are quite pricey, unless you're hosting a free event, so I would definitely recommend doing your research before blindly using Eventbrite for your events. (at the side of customers buying tickets the site is perfect and you'll have your tickets immediatly in your mailbox after paying). But from a seller's perspective I think they could've done a way better job at making it simple and easy to use. Pros I like the fact that you can just set-up an event if you're organising one. Everyone can sell tickets for their events and that's a good thing, makes your event available to a large audience so you could probably get more visitors by putting it on a website like Eventbrite. Cons When you are selling tickets you will have some trouble solving everything. I remember having a lot of trouble with changing events and the available tickets. It's my go to place when trying to book a show or other event and the interface is super easy to use and runs really smooth. Cons The only problem I have with Eventbrite and all similar platforms is the gauging of pricing for resale tickets. Not to mention the convenience fees and other fees added once you're in the checkout. Also, our registrants found this to be the most intuitive registration process of any other system. Cons There are some missing features including integration with the main website in WordPress or other CMS systems. However, there are also plenty of workarounds available. I like that you can send email notifications to all or just a portion of your registrants. You can easily keep track of tickets sold and manipulate those controls. And I like the analytics that help you know who is buying and when. Great product. Pros I like Eventbrite b/c of the way it integrates with social media. I can set up my facebook event page and have the option for people to buy tickets right there without having to be re-directed back to eventbrite. That is super helpful and makes us look really professional. Cons I don't like that you can't really customize your event page. I think that was a recent change b/c you used to be able to manipulate colors and fonts for the page, but now the colors automatically generate based on your event header image. Always a great experience. Pros I can purchase and RSVP to thousands (even millions?) of events through their site. But most importantly: I trust them. Having used some shady sites and getting scammed, Eventbrite is a breath of fresh air. I like that I can add the event directly to my calendar too. January 16, 2018 5.0 Pros I use Eventbrite a LOT, for a lot of different types of events. I love that Eventbrite can be molded to match a lot of the events I'm doing. Some are free events where I need to collect user information, others are paid events where I have to collect dietary information for meals, and other events could just be a place for me to collect payment for a collective order. No matter the event, I've found a way to use Eventbrite and save myself so much time! I use to use internal spreadsheets for everything, and accept mailed payments. Thanks to Eventbrite, I can share a link and move on to the next task on my list! Cons Eventbrite can do so much, it's really irreplaceable. I think something that could take Eventbrite to the next level is a seating arrangement function. I think they have the ability to allow buyers to select their seats, but I have some events where I assign seating. It'd be great to take the registration list and assign them a seat, all on Eventbrite.
