Highly recommend! Pros Eventbrite is an easy to use event making and signing up platform. It is easy to create events and sign up for them. They also send reminders and calendar invites! Cons Sometimes sending a calendar invite once you sign up for an event takes a while (or ends up in spam). Would recommend an easier way to put invites on calendar's like Outlook so this doesn't happen. Review Source Jessica M. March 5, 2019 5.0 Pros I would say that Eventbrite can handle really any event you want to promote or track tickets for. Even if you are a small business or an individual looking to book for an event. It sends out automatic emails and reminders, tracks your ticket sales, and embed events right onto your website. Easy, intuitive, and it doesn’t cost the students anything. Pros Sending out eventbrite invites to my students is super easy and quick to send out. I haven’t experienced any issues from my students. Cons Integrating eventbrite to our orientation events wasn’t hard but the one employee who spear headed using it didn’t do a very good job explaining how to use it or create our own events. Pros It is easy to use, for the most part. It is quick to use and access. The UI of the page is definitely user focused, simple enough. Cons There are some moments of bugginess with seat selection when the event set-up isn't totally straight forward. It can be kind of awkward to go through the purchase process, but it isn't terrible. Highly recommend. Pros Eventbrite has saved us so much time in planning and executing events that have grown our business. All elements of event planning are streamlined and convenient so we can focus on creating a memorable time for the guests. Very user-friendly when it comes to getting the tickets or deciding the seating situation. My company uses Eventbrite for many of our events and it makes it very easy for the employees to register for them and get reminders closer to the date of the event. Cons The mobile app features could use some work. I don't like selecting the seats over the phone because the phone app makes it harder to zoom in and out of the seating chart. Not sure if it is just me but I feel like ticketing and seating features could use some more smoothness on the mobile app. Review Source MM Megan M. Eventbrite is easy to use for both paid and non-profit events and allows the integration of email and zoom seamlessly. You don't need to be overly tech saavy to create an event, track participants, make changes, and update registrants. With a little bit of time, a user can easily set up both paid and free events. I've hosted multiple events with this software and it's relatively painless to process payments and update the event. Pros I liked that I had an option to switch between paid tickets and free tickets. I use Eventbrite to put on various events that are both paid and free to the public. This software has a large rate of use and people find it easy to understand. I have been able to easily see how many tickets have been reserved as well as communicate updates, with attendees easily able to cancel or remove their ticket. Cons Setting up software took a little time to get used to, but once I had an account and some preferences loaded, the whole process was much easier. Sometimes the recommended events at the bottom have had some company competitors which there isn't an option to remove. Review Source Malecia B. Now I mostly use the mobile tickets and I'm glad that I get a reminder email about my upcoming event. Pros I like how I can search for tickets by category because the majority of the time I am looking for free, food or music related events. Cons It seems just a bit complicated to use as an administrator trying to set up an event. Eventbrite DOES NOT HAVE LIVE SUPPORT FOR EVENT ORGANIZERS ANYMORE. Yes they used to that is why I loves using them. Now I cant log in because eventbrite isnt recognizing the email and the only tech support they have is online which they only send automated messages. I described thouroghly how it's not recognizing the email and they send me an email back telling me how to reset my password. Then they say if this doesnt help respond I still need help so I do that and still, NOTHING! My event is live and I cant access or look at anything. It has been 2 days. I don't know what happened to eventbrite but SERIOUSLY CONSIDER OTHER PROVIDERS IF YOU ARE AN EVENT ORGANIZER. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!!! Pros Its an easy way to see how many people are registering, as well as tracking how much you made for that specific event. Also, the cost per transaction is not bad. Cons We had an event where the check was never cut or sent to us for over 6 months. Normally it is suppose to be sent immediately after the event. We did finally receive it, but it was only after we requested it. Now that is has gps locator, I don’t have to enter the city! I travel often so this software is extremely beneficial when I want to find out the happenings. As a user, it is easy to set events up, especially events that cost. Cons I have in the past had issues with the financial tools, but recently eventbrite has made it even easier to use. It saves trees and lets you be creative when creating an invitation no matter the even. I've used them for birthday parties and also received several for birthdays, weddings, gender reveals and many more. Cons There isn't one thing I don't like about this. The tracking and follow-up features are very helpful, too. Pros I love Eventbrite because it helps you create professional invitations with a lot of customization, tracking, follow-ups, etc. I only use the free service, but it's still an in-depth tool that assists us with sending invitations to business meetings, event sign-ups, and much more. CMO/COO Information Technology and Services Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Eventbrite - Planning for Anyone, Anywhere" May 17, 2022 4.0 Eventbrite streamlines the tedious and often exhausting task of managing an event; keeping track of attendance, payment, refunds, numbers - everything is automated through Eventbrite, even down to rescheduling and communication with attendees. Although we have only managed a handful of events through Eventbrite, I can personally verify it is better than keeping track of everything on a spreadsheet! Pros Eventbrite's notification backend really helps ensure attendees are kept up to date on the particulars of an event, as well as ensuring they receive timely reminders. Between tracking attendees and managing payment/refunds, there is very little administrative work left beyond organising the event itself! Cons I'd find it difficult to fabricate an obvious shortcoming, but Eventbrite would certainly take over the industry if they offered a management solution for physical event planning, i.e. a database of partners, caterers, stall renters, et cet.
