Better options available in free version. Good for general admission for events. And also best option I like is about preferred seating which is very helpful when planning for an event. Cons Customer service isn't that good sometimes. Have to wait a long on a phone to talk to someone. No option to ask more complex questions. The main feature that I would like to see is print the report by registrant last name which will help me to analyze the event details very detailed. Pros Not only is Eventbrite easy to setup and use but the best thing about it is that it can save you thousands of dollars. The cost of purchasing event calendar software then having it integrated into your website is very expensive for most small businesses. With Eventbrite you can skip all of these custom and expensive steps and save thousands of dollars. Cons There aren't many negative things to say about Eventbrite but if I had to think of something, it would be customer support. I've run several events and it worked great for this. It's also fantastic for finding events in your area. Cons For running events, a joint account of some sort would be great that wasn't directly tied to an email address. This has made it tricky for me to co-run events with others. There's a bit of a visibility gap about event organisers - I wanted to be updated of new events by organisers whose events I wanted to follow, but couldn't see any option. Event finding also lags behind Facebook, for example, and seems to be very much the mainstream, paid-event crowd. I'd love to be able to \*find\* alternative and underground events in my area (which are the kind I tend to go to) by keywords, but it doesn't seem that this is Eventbrite's key audience. Pros I like how easy it is to sign up for an account and immediately start creating and launching event pages. I also like the tools Eventbrite gives us to carry out the event (easily print out attendee lists, mark attendance, etc). Cons I wish there was the ability to better customize the look and feel of the published event page, especially with graphics and images. We love the ease of use and how rapidly we can set up events on it. It provides us valuable analytics to see who is RSVPing and who is attending. We can easily communicate with our guest list. Day of the event, we can export the guest list to provide for the security staff. All in all, it's a great platform to use for your next event! Cons I don't have many cons to list about EventBrite. Some of the payout functionality is a little strict and not helpful for those planning events months in advance. They make you pay often for extra features or email blasts. Pros I like that for free events, the software allows you to set up the event, track attendance, limit attendance and have attendees print tickets Cons The cost for processing events where you are charging attendees is a little high. I understand there is cost involved but sometimes makes the overall cost high. January 17, 2019 4.0 I really like Eventbrite and find it's a useful tool in steering our clients to our events. Pros I love the statistics you can get out of it. Page views and rsvps are great to measure traction with your event. It allows you to see how well your event is being looked at. I also like that you can set up events to recur so you don't have to create an event each time. Cons I wish there were an option for no ticket sales. We host a webinar every month and invite our client via Eventbrite but when they RSVP they are always sent a "ticket." We don't ever collect the tickets since it's all online and it can get confusing but I haven't had anyone complain. It just would be nice if they could RSVP only. Review Source MP Maciej P. Cons I don't have any major issues, but I have noticed in the past that the software had problems remembering my account and it forced me to reset my password often. It’s accessible, easy to use, and provides a detailed but not exhausative set of tools for both organizers and attendees. Eventbrite does have some limitations in terms of customization, advanced features for larger events, and its costs. Pros It is easy to schedule and manage events. It has an easy to use interface, but also the features that I need. The built-in marketing and publicity tools are helpful. Cons Eventbrite has limited customization options. It does not have the build in mass reach that happens with the larger existing social media platforms like Twitter or Instagram. Fees can be high. The few times I've needed help from customer support they've been quick and helpful. I doubt I'll switch software providers Pros I've used Eventbrite on and off for several years, whenever I need to host an event. It's quick to set up an event page, make it appealing to potential attendees and configure different ticket tiers. The UI is easy to use and it takes me less than 10 minutes. Cons I find their pricing plans a little restrictive - some of the features I want are on the higher plan which I find quite expensive. Pros I loved that I was able to set up, manage, and use Eventbrite to promote, register, and track participants for a family fundraiser. It was basically a one-stop shop! Cons While it is competitive with other registration and ticketing websites like it, the fees are a bit discouraging - I didn't want my participants to incur the cost, but since it was a fundraising event without any overhead, it made it challenging to absorb the costs too. Pros Given Eventbrite is free, it is so handy to use when you have an event you want to promote, post, and track. There is pay function but I haven't used it. I've used it for promo events I have and want to advertise it out to people. It goes online free to anyone searching for events in my area. It's a great tool to track and take payments if you want. It'll get all the information from your people enrolling so you can track them for the future. I network with other small businesses and they all use it from instructors like me for an event to coaches and financial advisors. Cons I can't complain about this software as it is free. It's super easy to edit the picture of your event and to write an awesome description that will capture your audience. Pros I love that it requires an email from the attendees so it's very easy to have a list of your guests with their contact information. It's super easy to connect to other platforms so you can automatically add your guests to email marketing campaigns after the event or follow-up with people that purchased a ticket but didn't "check-in". Then tap to learn more and get. All is saved in my profile, which is easily situated on the home screen. Cons With categories, they can be too broad some times. I wish maybe there was an easier way, such as tags, to better know about an event. For example, under kids and families, it’s hard to know if this is for high school kids or for my 1 year old.
