Eventbrite completely changed the tone of events. From personalized email invitations, to designing a registration page and form, to reports, automated reminders and more, it's a great tool for any event organizer - large or small. Cons Depending on your registration cost, fees can easily add up. You'll have to plan on absorbing those fees or passing them along to the recipient. Pros I like that this software allows you to share events very easily on social media or via email. It is helpful that eventbrite has an option to list the event as a paid event or a free event. It will also allow you to pay through eventbrite for the event. After paying, it will allow you to upload the ticket to your event to your iphone's wallet. Cons They send a ton of spam emails not having to do with any events you signed up for through them. I feel like every other day I get an email about other events in my area or events they think I may like. I do not like getting an inbox full of events I am not interested or unable to attend. January 8, 2022 5.0 My overall experience with Eventbrite has been very positive. It has helped me manage many events in the past. The user interface is also fantastic and simple to understand. Pros Eventbrite is great for hosting free events. Eventbrite also has a really great clean and simple UI - it's also easy to navigate and set up events. There's a great dashboard that allows you to track ticket sales and it's super easy to refund tickets, if needed. Cons Eventbrite does take a fee from every costed ticket sold, which isn't great sometimes - especially if you have to hit a certain amount in profit/sales. Really helps us plan and coordinate resources needed, as well as limit the amount of attendees. Easy to set up and easy to manage, an all around great tool. Pros Excellent ability to manage and promote multiple events, and multiple types of events. Simple web interface makes it easy to interact with and delegate actions to others. Cons There are always one-off issues with invitees, and it's a bit cumbersome to manage these one-offs. Bu this is common among all tools, not just Eventbrite. Review Source PG Peter G. Marketing sales as events with Eventbrite makes it a little less intimidating for the customer to make a purchase as it makes them feel apart of something and it makes them feel welcome. Pros I used to use other social media platforms to invite customers to events or special sales and promotions that I was having to increase sales and also ultimately traffic to my website. I was a littlw hesitant to use Eventbrite at first because it would take thw customer away from my webpage but the customisation options allowed me to really focus on making my events personal to my busibess. I would get updates the instant someone signed up for an event or a sale that I promoted with EventBrite. They offer an outstanding product and will use them again in the near future Cons I do not have too much bad to say about EventBrite other then the customer has to leave my page in order to go to the event page. July 9, 2018 5.0 Pros The ease of use and approach ability. Eventbrite suggests events for me based on previous attendance and does not bombard me with spam. Cons The reminders aren't very splashy so they can get lost in an inbox unless I'm looking for them. It looks like any other email coming through. I try to put the event on my calendar so that I don't delete the reminder. It is user friendly for the person setting it up and the people who register for events. Pros Eventbrite is a great event management tool. It is easy to learn how to use and easy to set up events. I like that you can collect payment through the tool. I like that you can set limits and have multiple ticket options. I like that you can add photos to the events. Cons It would be nice if you could collaborate with other people on events instead of making them login with your account. There is not a great way for people to add "extras." April 26, 2022 5.0 Overall event Brite provides a solution to registration and ticketing issues and is easily implemented for students and staff. Pros I enjoy being able to register for very large events (especially during the pandemic). The registration process was always very smooth and I was able to be part of events that I wouldn’t have been able to without Eventbrite. Some of our tickets were sold in person and it was always easy to go in and modify the number of available tickets. We also went back and forth with the privacy of the event. You can not do this with Facebook events. Pros Setting up your event and customizing it is extremely easy. Modifying prices and ticket types can be done by even the tech novice. The user experience could be improved. Pros Eventbrite is a place to post events as well as search for them. The more popular the platform gets, the higher the quality events are. We used Eventbrite to post some of our important events as well as find relevant ones to go to. Cons When we ran an event, sorting out payments was a problem on Eventbrite. Pros Eventbrite is simple to use. With just a few clicks it is possible to choose the event, pay if necessary, and be ready, you will receive the confirmation by mail. As an administrator, it is also very simple. Publishing the event saves you from sending invitations and charging tickets individually so you save time. It has a free version and you can see the events available online without downloading the application. Cons One of the disadvantages that I found when using it is the lack of a space where doubts or technical support are answered.
