Pros: This software integrates into SalesForce, which allows for easy access to all SF data. There are a lot of customization available and it seems possible to integrate many other pieces of software. There are very specific user permission controls.

Cons: The software is a sandbox, requiring substantial customization. There is no customer support because use of this requires a separate IT team to implement and manage it.

Once we got the software working for our organization. I really hated a lot of the interface (though that might be because it is a carry over from SalesForce). The format is a two column, one page set up that ends up with a lot of dead screen space. It takes a long time to scroll through a matter page to find what are looking for. I strongly prefer a set up with menus. Our team had a hard time choosing what information to present in Advologix because of the layout difficulties.

Overall: As someone working in the in-house legal department of a larger company, we chose this because it would integrate into our data. Looking back, I think that law specific software with separate SF access would be my preference.
