I think it's a good system. Easier than say Teams Shifts in parts but not as easy as it could/should be. You get what you pay for I suppose.

Pros

I can see my staff scheduled and where there are gaps across where shifts are. The mobile app to my 'regular' team is very useful and they can see what's going on nice and easily.

Cons

It's extremely fiddly both to set up and operate. While the casual team 'get on with it' - there are a few that are less technically able and are therefore creating their own shifts rather than taking ones that are listed as available. Sometimes the order of shifts is very difficult to get too - what I see on my screen makes sense yet the team when applying for shifts on their phone see it in a sometimes bizarre order. Facilities being 'locked' to times would also be really handy. Bar / Box Office / Technician need to all be claimed separately to times. Shift Cancellations also requiring acceptance but then not automatically returning the shifts back into the 'availables' is also quite annoying sometimes. It would also be very helpful to send an automatic message out to certain groups to say "There are shifts available now on these dates".

Excellent their customer service is responsive with any queries - they are straight back with easy to use instructions

Pros

Easy to use Colour coding of staff makes it easier to group staff You can add your own comments Easy for staff to check in at home to see their shifts

Cons

It does all it says it does! The only thing I would like is to be able to have the full rota view on my phone I have to log onto a PC which can sometimes be difficult if I am out and about and have a short notice absence I have no negative comments about it

My overall experience with Findmyshift has been very positive. It makes scheduling and payroll management much easier and more organized for my team. Once everything is set up, the system runs smoothly and helps reduce admin time. With a few improvements to the mobile app, it would be close to perfect.

Pros

What I like the most about Findmyshift is how smoth is for employees to record their clock in and out, making it so easy for me to calculate their salaries accuratly and on time.

Cons

Overall, I think I get a good value for what i pay. However, the management mobile app coulf bre more user friendly, especially when I need to quickly calculate or review someones salary.

In fact you can cut and paste the shift on the rota that make swapping and creating a new template much easier.

if you can have a time clock-in and out machine like safescan as their planing software and app are rubbish

really effective for a large team, pros on the ability to pick up shifts and book holiday without needing to directly speak to management. good value for money

Cons

no editing log, depending on who has access, shifts could easily be deleted without noticing, the editing log would help

We have been with FMS for 3 years now and finding it vert beneficial as a medium company. As we have grown this software has assisted us in resource management.

Pros

We like the ease of the dashboard from staff, sites, to pay rates which can be tracked. The mobile interface is widely used by our staff also and easy to navigate.

Cons

It would be good if we could integrate a check call system into the software. So when staff are on shift they acknowledge the app hourly or a frequency set by us. If they miss this then an alert could be sent to the managers or controlroom.

Findmyshift has become an important tool for my team of 20 across 3 retail locations and a warehouse, enabling us to track and manage work schedules effectively and efficiently

Pros

Intuitive and straightforward to use with clearly presented rotas/ schedules. Easy to tailor to individual requirements and very good human support from the Find My Shift team whenever we have run into problems.

Cons

Would like a system which integrates with our payroll, and this may come in time. Individual staff admin can be a little fiddly.

My small team of phone operators used FindMyShift on a trial basis. The system itself is excellent—reliable, and our staff gave very positive feedback on both the online platform and the app. However, we cannot continue using it due to a major flaw in the pricing structure. The jump from a very limited free plan (for 5 users) straight to a $46/month plan for up to 20 users leaves small teams like ours (7-10 people) with no viable option. It is not reasonable to pay for 20 licenses when you only need a handful. It's a real shame. They have a product that small teams would gladly pay a fair price for, but the current pricing forces you to either squeeze into an inadequate free plan or significantly overpay. We were a happy, ready-to-subscribe team, but we've had to look elsewhere. I recommend FindMyShift only for teams that need close to 20 users. For any small team, I suggest you look for a provider with scalable pricing.

Easy to read. Our staff gave very positive feedback on both the online platform and the app. We are a small Team.

Cons

There is a major flaw in the pricing structure. $46/month plan for up to 20 users leaves small teams like ours (7-10 people) with no viable option. It is not reasonable to pay for 20, when you only need a handful.

Pros

I found Findmyshift very easy to use, with a clear layout and intuitive scheduling tools. Cons

Absolutely love it, I use it in all three of my businesses, our leadership team couldn't operate without it.

Pros

It's brilliant value for money as the man hours saved on scheduling and payroll more than pay for the fees we pay. Love that its simple to use, can be used on any mobile device, video guides are really helpful and the team are really responsive to any query.

Cons

We pay multiple subscriptions to keep the business entities separate and don't receive any discount.

Very good. Helpful tool for a small business. Has improved accuracy and data processes, making payroll caculation much easier. It is also a better indicator of staff presence than previous paper system.

Pros

This is a good value shift and staff management tool. We use it to schedule shifts for one team and the staff log hours, using the app. Everyone reports good usasbility and a clear layout. It has improved our payroll process by producing a digital hours log.

Cons

The web interface is very basic and it is hard to colour-code employees, this has to be done manually and I would prefer to assign a colour to each staff member.

As an administrator, I have found it fairly easy to use. Our staff are all very familiar with it, and we haven't had many issues with scheduling or time-off requests.

Pros

I like the ability to schedule across various teams and departments. The program is very easy to navigate as an employee

Cons

Our payroll program doesn't easily integrate with Findmyshift, so our payroll process is tedious. Wish activity log allowed a range of dates, rather than having to go through each date individually. Also, I wish that it allowed for employees to enter a default availability, rather than the program default being that employees are always available. This would make it much easier for scheduling our casual/on-call staff.

FindMyShift provides visibility for complex rosters across multiple platforms, including a user friendly app. This allows people to see their rosters whilst out of the office. Ability to provide read only feeds

Lack of version control - cannot see who and when changes to the roster were made. This has necessited us replicating the roster on a spreadsheet

Amazing scheduling tool, easy enough to use, easy reports, holiday management and reasonably priced. Makes my life easier.

Cons

Mobile App Limitations It's definitely not easy for you on the app; I prefer to use it on the desktop. Also, I would prefer a discount for annual membership and The pricing structure has a major gap between the free plan (for 5 users) and the next paid tier, which forces small teams (7-10 people) to significantly overpay for licenses they don't need.

Interface is easy. I use the mobile version (not the app) never liked the app. I use the desktop version on my mobile. Sometimes it’s a bit glitchy but what isn’t.

Pros

Used it for a while, just familiar with the functions. Probably don’t use half the functions that it’s capable off, but it gets the job done.

Good - helpful support also - cant really grumble at all and willbe renewing the policy to continue.

Pros

easy to use and apply to staff - good user interface, easy to log in to and clear in how it reminds staff

Cons

a little clunky for holidays and not as clear as could be can be confusing with bank holidays - doesnt state that this is automatically take off unless ticked - should be opposite. Dont like that holiday allowance cant be seen on phones where most use it - so they need to log on to PC to see full allowance

Overall, Find My Shift has been reliable. We have been able to managing large numbers of volunteers with ease. It is accessible and user-friendly for all.

Shift management has been brilliant and consistent for many years. User friendly ways to manage large groups of volunteers.

Cons

We haven't had any issues with Find my Shift. The only feature that may be of use to for URL links to be active when send out as a mass communication, at present they have to be copied and pasted into a search engine.
