Cons The rules (exceptions) that you need to write per employee and the fact that is does not incorporate holidays for other countries. August 6, 2024 5.0 it is a bit of a learning curve, but once you dig through through the options and configure it to meet your requirements it feels great. Pros It has push notifications for shifts and a downloadable app. Cons i find it a little costly to be honest so I would consider other options. Operations Manager Museums and Institutions Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Stick with it, it gets better" June 18, 2024 4.0 It's not the best rota software I have used, but for the price, its really good value for money. The back end is complicated and difficult to get your head around, but once you do, you can truly use it as a one stop shop for everything. The front end for the user is wonderfully simple. Pros The mobile app simplicity really was key for us. We are a museum who work with a large number of volunteers, many of whom aren't computer literate and don't use their phones for anything other than calls or texts. We had to ensure that they could access the schedules easily and understand them The messaging system is a lovely surprise and works well - as does the notice board. We also like its flexibility to store extra facts and info, so over time it has changed from being just our scheduling software to our HR hub, with all our staffing information (vehicle info, references etc) and policies and procedures stored alongside our weekly team updates. Cons Some of the menus and reports are unnecessarily complicated with way too many options. Some of the office staff have struggle to gain access to the information they need. The reporting side is clumsy and difficult to use. Some really simple, obvious changes can make a big difference but these changes don't seem to be being considered in any software changes to the program. For example, when looking on the mobile app, shifts are listed by the alphabetical order of first names rather than the actual times (or even the area!) of the shift. This is pretty ludicrous for a scheduling program. Review Source SF Stephen F. With API Management available with our HRIS system (BambooHR), this was setup in less than a morning and introduced to the team throughout the day.
