Pros: Easy to use! I can look at my schedule anytime on my phone using just a code to access it. The ability to see my entire schedule at once or just one day is perfect.

Cons: The color scheme could be changed to be able to see better at a glance, light colors and pastels make it difficult to read at times.

Comments: Carecloud support is very helpful and very nice. Any questions or problems are always answered or solved quickly. I have been using this system daily for over 2 years.

Pros: Carecloud makes it easy and quick to schedule appointments, check patient information, and more. I also love all the reports you can run.

Comments: Good product. Good support and updates are often

Pros: Quick movement from one patient to other. Scheduling with patient right there information gets into system immediately. Able to access with Touch ID on iPhone

Cons: Need to schedule at 15 minuet intervals Sometimes the computer is slow to reopen after 45 minuets. Could be quicker

Pros: Easy to find patients, love how we can communicate with other care cloud company, adding insurance has been easy for our users.

Cons: Sometimes while being in Carecloud it doesnt show co-workers that are online so i have to log out and log back in and then they are all there.

We use this software to maintain our Palliative Care program and it works wonderfully.

Comments: One of the strengths of using CareCloud is that it is easy to use. Straightforward on finding and searching and not intimidating. I feel like I will be able to search and find what I need when I use CareCloud, unlike many other brands of software. Thank you so much.

Pros: It's easy to use and understand. Everything is organized nicely and makes my job easier. I feel comfortable using the software.

Cons: There seem to be a lot of updates that sometimes cause problems. Although it makes my job easy, it takes a lot of time to do everything I need to do as a medical biller.

Carecloud is extemely user friendly and is regularly being updated to make it even more so

Comments: Overall, an excellent program; I have no regrets about committing to this system several years ago.

Pros: App-like appearance and ease of use, quite intuitive to learn to use various functions; development team has been extremely active in regularly updating the various functions to improve its usefulness to physicians and staff. Unlike some programs that were clearly developed by software professionals who have no knowledge of the actual needs of healthcare providers, CareCloud is very responsive to MD input to make it progressively more user friendly and useful in the clinical setting. The I-phone app is extremely helpful when away from the office.

Cons: Only con would be that it is a cloud-based system, meaning that the main frustrations develop when we have issues with internet access (obviously no fault of the software, but rather our local issues). The advantage of a cloud-based system is the constant updates, but access is occasionally a problem in my office.

Pros: I feel it¿s easy to use and has some good features that make my job easier. Customer support has been good whenever we have needed them. And being a very small office; we like the fact we can choose the options that we need, but not pay for things we don¿t need.

Cons: There are still some things that we would really like to see happen, one of which is having the integrated labs show in the note without having to manually post them.

Pros: Care cloud is easy to use. I like that it has an app for my phone as well, so I can look at my schedule whenever I need to.

Cons: It sometimes is slow but I am not sure if it is carecloud or the internet here. It does crash from time to time.

Pros: Helpful support. Cost of running this system is reasonable. It was very easy to learn. The app for our IPhones is a great feature, easy for the doctors to operate.

Cons: My practice is primarily Worker's Compensation and a lot of features I could use are not available.

Pros: Very dependable and user friendly they have many options for new employee's to learn the system and staff available for questions. Wonderful options for uploading information.

Cons: The billing system is still confusing to me and I like being able to use paper forms and not submit claims on line.

Comments: Seemless between scheduling and billing.

Pros: After reviewing numerous cloud based systems, our partners all agreed that this was the best fit for our very busy Neuropsychology practice.

Cons: Cannot think of a thing, aside from very periodic instances where the remote app won't load my appointments on my iphone. This may also have to do with a service issue with my phone company as much as being a Care Cloud issue

Comments: Excellent Company Keeping us alive Cant guess what changes the insurance companies are going to make without telling the provider before they do so . Nobody could. Care cloud responds as quickly as possible once these surprise changes are realized

Pros: User friendly. Great people to work with. They make a very difficult process in today's environment doable

Pros: I find Carecloud very easy to use and find that many of its features make my paperwork more efficient.

Cons: Once in a while the system does not let me access it, but it is only rarely and I would not even consider it a problem.

Pros: The software is easy to use and navigate. Finding info for patient such as op reports and testing is easy and efficient.

Cons: Not as many features as I have seen on other systems. The value for the money is good because it's less costly, but is missing some extras that I've seen on other Billing software that has made a huge impact.

Pros: When using carecloud, its easy to learn. The navigation of the software is so accessable. One click and you can find anything you need.

Comments: I have spoken to three different representatives in support and they all have been amazing. I have been working with her for the last few days on some tough issues. She has been highly professional, extremely patient, and undeniably helpful in assisting me to resolve these problems. She clearly has a thorough understanding of the entire system, and she has taught me quite a bit about how and why the system performs the way it does. I am highly impressed with her expertise and very grateful for her help!

Pros: I am very new to using the CareCloud software. I have been hired basically has a temp to repair some errors on some of the accounts at this practice. I would not be able to give an accurate review of the software at this time.

Comments: I really enjoy this product as compared to the several other medical websites I have used.

Pros: Aesthetically it is very pleasing and easy to look at for extended periods of time. Which also speak to the layout, which is very nicely done. I like the functionality of it as well. Having tabs open for different patients and suggesting recently viewed patients is a very, very nice feature.

Cons: This could just be an issue on my own regarding the browser I use, but the loading can be difficult at times. You must remain on the page for what seems to be a random amount of time for the page to pop up. If you open another tab on your browser or minimize the browser it will not follow through on opening the page.

Everything that we need is always in the next phase, with no timelines or details of a plan.

Pros: The patient check-in screen is really easy to use; you drag and drop. Plus, the patient pictures are great.

Cons: The calendar settings are global, so with having allergy patients that come in 1-7 an hour, we are unable to use many features because it would give false information on when the next available appointment is, and just unable to customize each doctor's and areas calendar is a huge drawback. We currently have them doing our billing; once we bring billing in-house, we lose our client support representative, which was our only saving grace on trying to get some answers and get anything done. The billing is not good; many of our insurance companies won't take their calls anymore. When we take over a case that they are supposedly working on, we are told not to do our own billing. Our billing specialist can get the issue cleared up in 1 phone call and CareCloud will have been working on it for months. The notes left by the case support people are horrible. They don't make sense, it doesn't really say what they've done, and it is the same comment time after time, and nothing gets resolved.

Comments: I'd suggest that anyone looking at changing software platforms look closely at what they want and need before making the final choice. However, I'm confident that CareCloud is a great choice for many offices regardless of the size and specialty.

Pros: * Saves significant time for all aspects of patient management * Revenue cycle management keeps the income flowing with little to no interruption * Customer support is fast to respond and solves issues easily and quickly

Cons: * As with any software, transitioning to a new system can been annoying and time consuming * I do both chiropractic and family medicine and there are no widgets or shortcuts for the chiropractic practices and techniques as of yet

Carecloud takes the cake for all of the software systems I use daily!

Comments: Overall, I work in numerous systems every day and looking at the services compared to the price I think Carecloud is most definitely worth every penny. If you look at the seamless process of checking patients in and checking their eligibility, the system is extremely helpful compared to others. I always say, " You get what you pay for!" and Carecloud shows that on every level.

Pros: I like the all in one user friendliness! ERAs individually split up for billing secondary claims which makes them a breeze! Also, printing proof of timely filing from the patient screen helps out tremendously. The Collections app is probably my next favorite. I don't feel like I am stuck running reports all day. Instead, I can go in to my denial bucket and work the claims directly from there without having to run a report and then go to the patients one by one and then work the claims. I also love that it stores copies of all of the statements that I generate for each patient so when a patient calls regarding a balance and has a question, I can tell exactly what they are looking at!

Cons: The one thing I do not like about Carecloud is the inability to send claims on demand. If you miss pick-up at 8p.m. the claims have to wait until the next night. I wish we could get a change for this. Also, I wish when working with claims in the outbox that we could select as many as we want and then be able to change the delivery method all at one time, like printing without the claim form. It would save our office time as we have quite a few that have to go paper.

Comments: CareCloud is an overall effective and efficient system with excellent support. And is reasonably priced. CareCloud has met and exceeded my expectations.

Pros: CareCloud is very visual, and easy to follow to get the job done, effectively and efficiently. CareCloud does a good job of keeping up with all the mandatory payer billing requirements and changes. Problem resolution is thorough and fast. Support staff are courteous and effective.

Cons: From a management perspective CareCloud should continue to optimize the "slice and dice" reporting or data output. Improvements can always be made in this area.

Comments: Over all a great product!

Pros: It's easy to use! its visually appealing. I like the scheduling page it easy to see all of the patient that are being seen!

Cons: When scheduling NEW patients i have to wait till the appointment is created before i can enter policy holder info. It would be nice to have that on the same screen as all new patient info.

Pros: Customer service line, ease of scheduling, ease of billing and notifications of denials & 'no responses'

Cons: 1. EDI's & ERA's don't always match up & I must manually 'fix' them... 2. Re: Scheduling: the template dates must be created one by one instead of 'recurring' days. 3. the "cloud" is OFTEN very slow & therefore can cause inefficiency for my staff. 4. "Floating" credits that aren't posted manually to a service line mess up your so-called "Robust Reports" and have to be manually added to a service line. 5. All TERTIARY claims require me to manually print & mail previous ERA's to Primary& secondary ins...Unless I'm missing something here. Carecloud should auto-attach both Prim &2ndry to Tertiary claims & submit electronically

Pros: The chat system between colleagues is very efficient. I enjoy the ability to multitask one one system. It helps me keep track of exactly who scheduled each patient.

Pros: The ease of use for the most part. The billing app is pretty easy to use until some of the errors occur.

Cons: The remittance app. Some remits are downloaded incorrectly and some of the errors involve too many additional steps to correct the problem. Also, the Analysis app is not able to locate specific patient information for charges, payments, DOS, etc. That would be helpful.

Comments: Val helped me through remittance issues today and I can't say enough about great she was! She spent over an hour and twenty minutes very patiently walking me through each step. One of the nicest people I've ever worked with! Highly recommend her to my co-workers.

Pros: The software has great reports that are easy to run and include charts and graphs of the information.

Comments: Pros definitely over weight the cons. Only superusers or power users will notice a little drag, but it is not enough to effect business production.

Pros: Appointments scheduling and rescheduling is easy with the total appts on the screen, no reports to run. Ability to create customized schedules per doctor or per location your choice with block time that does not count as an appointment.

Cons: Flash based, so sometime load time may take a tad bit longer. this doesn't happen alot and it basically resolves its self as internet traffic varies. its like posting on facebook, most of the time it happens instantly, sometimes it drags a little bit.

Pros: Common sense layout and flow. If you have worked a PM before you can navigate through the system with very little guidance. They call things what they are, not using codes as descriptions.

Cons: We signed up and ended up going through the worse experience with any EMR and wasted over $ and lost many, many hours of production. We were starting implementation and to shorten the story, basically found out the hard way that CareCloud was in turmoil. Our original rep quit, they had no idea what they were doing and found out they had really not had pain practices like they stated. We were to be used for their beta project and it was a NIGHTMARE! STAY AWAY, I'M TELLING YOU! I read these same reviews as well and went with them, but I can't even begin to tell you how bad it got. To this day, I still get bills even after them knowing for 8 months. I one of their upper personnel call me and apologize and ask me to stay and still they can't get it right. I'm telling you they have internal issues and they are TERRIBLE!!

Comments: This was my least favorite medical software that I've ever used. We were told that CareCloud could be used on iPads, which we use in each of our rooms instead of a full computer. However, despite them assuring us that it would work and was fully functional on iPad, it was not. Very unhappy about how deceptive they were and this was a major issue for the practice. It was only available in "read only" format on the iPad. Be careful if they assure you it is compatible with tablets/iPad. You can read the information, but not update or use it as you would on a regular computer. When we tried to contact them, they were not much help.

Pros: There was a tool to set up reviews so that staff members had to review each others work, this helped catch and prevent errors.

Cons: It was very confusing and there was not much training on how to use it. We were upset that they claimed it was fully functional on tablets as well. Additionally, this system was extremely costly and we did not see it pay for itself in benefits.

Comments: We have used Carecloud Practice Management since 2013. The transition was fast, simple and efficient. Loved the ease of use and transparency of the billing process from the beginning. As the company has grown, as well as the product, their support personnel continues to improve at an amazing pace. Response to an open case is quick, the follow through is complete, and they are quickly able to offer a solution or instructions to resolve your problem. I really appreciate the help in keeping up with the ever-changing healthcare environment. Well done, Carecloud!

Pros: The entire billing process is simplified, compared to other systems. Upon transition to the system, I was able to immediately identify a number of prior billing errors that were not apparent in my other system. Navigation is very user-friendly and intuitive.

Cons: No product is problem free, but Carecloud makes an attempt to listen to what their customers need, and adjust their product accordingly.

Comments: CareCloud was very good, but not always as "user friendly" for the less tech-savvy. The update last winter to the calendar view was a challenge, and often lead to the site freezing a lot. The tech support was helpful, but didn't quite feel as personal as we would like.

Pros: I like that we could set tasks for staff members to check each other's work, go back and review a note, or to check benefits.

Cons: The calendar update with all of the new dropdowns was too much. That and the site would freeze up a lot and for long periods of time.

Customer services was a great help at times. Comments: I used CareCloud for well over a year in a mental health setting. The scheduling and billing features are top notch. While this program does require a good deal of training, it's a work horse of a program. If your practice seeks extensive reporting and analytical features, CareCloud is the way to go - you're able to customize reports and set just about any parameters you'd ever want, rendered to Excel, CSV, PDF, etc.

Pros: Very robust reporting and analytical features, great for medium to large practices, powerful and versatile enough for any medical group. Carecloud support is very helpful, has speedy responses, helpful training seminars, etc.

Cons: This cloud-based EMR is somewhat pricey, and has a somewhat steep learning curve for first-time users. If you're able to tap into to all of its functionality, the price is worth the benefit.

Recommendations to other buyers: This is a powerful EMR tool - it's capable of handling anything from a small private practice to a hospital setting. With that being said, it isn't cheap - I'd recommend this for medium to large medical practices.

Comments: We have searched and researched numerous PM systems. There is not one that compares to the easy of use and functionality of this system. Automatic EFT posting is truly that automatic (which you can turn off if you choose to). Real (Manual) payment batch posting, with balancing and attached the eobs right to the the line item in the patients accounts. No more having to pull daily batches and search 450 pages of pymts to find your specific eob. Truly has an API with emdeon, with claims management from r/s to changing modifiers and diagnosis, with claims appeals pre populated forms.

Pros: Payment Batch Posting, Attaches EOB's to patient account with line by line posting. Claims Management all in one system. Posting Charges from the Appt App, easily see what is billed and not billed.

Cons: Being flash based, when ever adobe does an update the system may experience crashes. But normally they are back up in a few minutes. This truly does not outweigh the Pros.

Recommendations to other buyers: Give it a try. Staff from Novus to Super user will trying be able to use the system in a couple of hours. Most staff do not need formal training. It is user friendly and makes sense. If you have used any other PM successfully, you will love this system and be able to get started right away.

Pros: initial look of it, looks different, but it is an illusion to believe that you will be better organized provider/front desk/reception with the App functionality.

Cons: cons: Slow, breaks down.
Slow and shuts down.
Jumping from app to app to just to see patient's insurance information, up coming appointment, and to see EOB, that is not allowed in carecloud. You have to download CMS program to see EOB.
When claim has issues, it can sit in an app and none of your manager or carecloud will let you know that there is problem in you A/R, help you to solve problems. You are on your own. I almost went broke due to using their concierge service. No money was coming in.... Be prepared to get a loan or go broke with their billing services.

Overall: I am a solo practitioner in internal medicine. I used Athenahealth before Carecloud due to college's recommendation. But the feels for non closed loop orders were getting expensive so I looks for a program that won't charge me a dollar for each prescription. I was interested in Carecloud due to their App settings and made it look easy to document/chart.
I should have known when they were trying to get me to sign their contract that I was in for a big diasppointment. They, the sales rep gave me a deadline to sign the contract with appealing price if I sign before the timeline. He got me on the phone with the big boss, also the same thing,' its the lowest price so sign now', like a used car dealer to seal a deal. I was a fool, $36,000 lost due to my stupid action signing that day. I will regret for the rest of my life. After 1 month of use, I knew this isnt what I wanted to uses going forward. I plan to make a youtube video showing how slow Carecloud is. Whenever patient calls for appointment or refill, it takes long time to pull up their charts and all patients complain ' why does it take so long to pull up my chart?' and we say it's our carecloud program... But that's just the tip of the iceburg. Here are the reasons I gave them for terminating with them.

1 - Promise to incorporate clients' suggestion for improvement to their platform is an empty promise. We have offered them pages upon pages of suggestions, of which exactly NONE have been incorporated in their promise of "updates" every 3 weeks. When challenged on this, the company brushed us off, saying "do you know how many providers we take care of?" Pretty clear that we, as a individual client, are not important.

2 - It may look organized but when actually using it, it forces you to move back and forth all day long between different organizational icons. Even the simplest task of ordering a patient's lab requires at least 5 minutes. It is the farthest from "user-friendly" that we can imagine!!

3 - By definition, an EMR is an ELECTRONIC medical record. Despite this, any documents that require the provider to initial or sign (all home health documentations, labs to be reviewed, etc.) need to be printed, then hand signed, then re-scanned into the computer. Be prepared to have your support staff spend an extra-ordinary amount of time managing this challenge. Again, our practice has asked CareCloud to address this concern several times without any indication that they will actually become a

Great customer support, not having to have internal billing staff, close working relationship with EHR vendor, etc. Once we went live, all those promises were no where to be found. Support was not available because we were still in implementation phase, Implementation Rep was none existent, and Upper Management did not return calls. Most importantly, after months of waiting to go-live, and on actual go-live our RCM was not set up and ready. Very poor service, especially with a start up clinic with no transitional data. There are too many spots to type in the same information and not all of it transfers or rolls over from page to page or encounter to encounter. Even though the EHR selection allows you to select templates to use, it doesn't allow you to create them to fix your exact needs and only parts of it is able to roll over into the next note. There is not a place to manually type in imaging/labs results and the ones they give you to select from are very limited. The insurance section in the patient's charts do not show effective dates even though it is a necessary information in order to put the insurance in. You can not manually add in insurance carriers you have to use there list, and I have found insurances like work comps that are not listed in there list. You have to go thru multiple screen to check in a patient and to find a co-pay, that make it very time consuming.

Cons: Dose not work with iPad and tablets, even thou they advertise it dose. Also not compatible with any speech recognition software like Dragon. They will do update in the middle of the day.

Comments: I have worked with Care Cloud for three years now. I love that they really listen to what we as a client are needing. They take our recommendations for enhancements very seriously and have even made improvements that I have suggested. The reporting is easy to work with and you are able to really dig deep down into things with the reports. My client Manager is amazing. She goes over and above for our practice and works very hard on projects that have improved our practice workflow.

Pros: I love that it is user friendly and easy to navigate.

Cons: i actually don't have any Cons for care cloud.

Comments: I have worked with several different type of medical billing software. CloudCare is one of the best out there as far as being user friendly and have most of all the features you need. It's easy to learn for both the billing and front office staff. Instead of spending days learning a new program your up and running the very first day!

Pros: Like some software systems you have to roll balances back & forth between insurance's and patient's. This system does it for you. The denial app is most helpful for rebilling and or correcting any denied claims. Really like the Elec remits & payments coming through.

Cons: Still waiting on being able to attach documents when submitting corrected claims.

Recommendations to other buyers: Don't spend a lot of time shopping around. Once your staff gets the hang of it things will go so smoothly. Will get your claims paid fast and with less denials

Comments: We first contact support to discuss arranging for training for new office staff on Sept 26. We are told a ticket has been created. We contact them again on Sept 30 as no action has yet been made on our original request. They assign a new ticket number and think they have done their job. At some point my new office manager gets a hold of a sales rep and tells of the areas that the training should focus on. According to the sales rep she has had 20 emails with my office manager to try to get this arranged. After 20 emails nothing yet has been scheduled. We had blocked our patient schedule on Oct 13 in order for the office staff to do this training which we thought would be sufficient considering we first contacted support on Sept 26. Oct 7 and the sales person has the sense to contact me, the owner. In her email she asks if I ever received some forms needed in order to arrange for the scheduling. I sent an email response that I never received any forms by email. I don't know why she bothered to send me that email as she NEVER responded to my reply saying that I never got any form. Oh you wonder if any phone calls took place? I never received any phone calls. I called the sales rep several times and left messages that we need to get this training arranged by the Oct 13 date. I never received any return phone call. When Oct 11 comes and nothing has been arranged, I email the sales rep and CC a manager at Carecloud. Now I get an email saying that she has had 20 emails to get this arranged. Well these emails may just as well have been to discuss the weather because no emails were sent to me, the person who needs to authorize payment for these trainings. Additional emails sent by the sales person at this time are all an attempt to cover for her inability to respond appropriately. She sends a Sales Force log saying she has sent 20 emails. So what? Those emails didn't accomplish anything and wasted my staff's time. Then she says that she sent 4 emails to me at a mystery email because it was not my email. So what about trying to reach me by phone? It never happened. We have call logs at our business and I can check the call logs of my phone. No calls were made to me and I am the one who they need to contact to authorize payment. So that is my experience with their customer service.

Comments: I have used CareCloud going on 4 years now. I really didn't have any training, except the basic's. Really didn't need it. his was be far the best Medical Billing Software I have ever used. I have almost 25 years billing experience so have worked on a lot of different systems. I have used previously Centricity, Advanced Md, Chartcare, Athena, etc, etc before. Every software has some glitches, but at least when you call CareCloud for support you are speaking with someone that has knowledge of the system and can answer your questions or help with a situation. I would highly recommend this system to anyone wanting to change their billing system or new provider.

Pros: Really really easy software to learn without much training involved. Very easy to change and or correct billing.

Cons: Sometimes when a upgrade is done it has created some glitches, but soon resolved.

Pros: The up to date interface and "app" feel make this system very easy to learn. It is fully integrated and the "workflow" for the system is hands down the best I have reviewed and worked on in my 16 year career. The remittance posting and statement modules are cutting edge and thoughtfully designed for the end use. I also love that their is very little wait time to talk to support associates. For the most part, most of my items have been resolved easily over the phone same call.

Cons: The monthly cost per provider has increased since I first started using it. It can give a bit of sitcker shock to start up practices, but in the end, it's ease of use and reliability make it worth the investment.

Recommendations to other buyers: Most demonstrations do not in anyway deliver a good "feel" for the day to day use a PM software. Your end user is the most important person in this equation. If your employees cannot be productive with the system, it will not be a sound investment. Push further with yous software account. Ask for a "dummy" account on a non-live site so that you can really test drive the software. You wouldn't in most cases buy a car you hadn't driven, therefore I don't recommend you buy a software you haven't actually used.

Pros: The claims follow up and aid with collections provided by CareCloud Concierge allows me (a physician) to do my own billing and save money on an in-house biller. CareCloud has even helped us automate most of our payments which saves a countless amount of time for myself and my staff in updating accounts.

Cons: We had some difficulties in the beginning with this product and understanding what our role was and what their role was in the process. Once this was discussed with our practice manager, things have run much more efficiently.

Recommendations to other buyers: Since the business and of medicine has become such a large focus of our time and energy in the office, finding care cloud concierge has been invaluable for getting our claims paid and accounts posted correctly. Asking questions upfront S who does the coding, billing, claim submission, and claims follow up with this sort of service is an integral part of determining if this will be a good fit for your practice. The great thing about CareCloud concierge is that they have a hand in all of that.

Pros: What I like most about CareCloud is the user friendliness of the process. Especially, when processing request for medical records the multiple ways to access the documents really does make the much quicker.

Cons: The process for claims follow-up should be more detailed. The adjustment for non-covered services, which show zero patient responsibility should be adjusted accordingly, instead of being tasked to the clients. As this only delays the process, especially when the carrier denies a claim as the MRI read payment being bundled with the E&M code.

Recommendations to other buyers: Ensure that there are internal processes to ensure the claims follow-ups are detailed and review of the eob and adjustments at the time of payment posting.

Pros: Our staff find that the applications are very user friendly and easy to navigate. I find that the ability to quickly maneuver within CareCloud allows our practice to work more efficiently. The customer support has greatly increased since we started using CareCloud; the support is knowledgeable and friendly.

Cons: I would like to see an enhancement in the future with having more self pay collections options, like collection buckets. Currently, we have to generate static reports and it would be nice to have a collections app, where accounts could be moved into different buckets for collectors to easily work.

Pros: Cloud-based, easy to use. Can log on easily in seconds from home computer or laptop. Reliable, easy for staff to learn how to use. Great for tracking product sales, analyzing revenue, charges, etc... Text reminders for patient visits very convenient. Seamless integration with my eHR (Modernizing Medicine) - that's perhaps the most important aspect for us.

Cons: Small detail but not insignificant for us- with the text reminders for appointments, if a patient wants to cancel their appointment, they're unable to do so the way CareCloud is set up now. This leads to no-shows for us because CareCloud can't reflect the patients' desire to NOT confirm their visit and cancel the appointment. We have noticed errors when CareCloud records remittances. Only brought to our attention in certain cases when patients have asked about their bill, and when we reviewed their insurance payments/remittances, we noticed blatant errors during entry from CareCloud staff. Would be near-impossible for us to investigate how often this happens. Wish CareCloud had better payment options for patients (to directly logon and make payment that would record accurately in their charts).

Recommendations to other buyers: Obviously, try a bunch of programs, test-run them. I needed a practice management system that bridged easily with my EMR (decided on my EMR first and sought PM systems secondly). I love how easy the billing is (ICD-10 and CPTs flow instantly from my EMR to CareCloud). Has made our billing/collections much easier (we are a small office, started from scratch 3 years ago, never had an in-house billing staff, started with CareCloud concierge billing/collections from the very beginning and have NEVER looked back). Have recommended CC to several other friends/colleagues starting Dermatology offices (because they also chose the same EMR). ICD-10 transition was NO inconvenience to our office at all- in fact, you wouldn't have even known things had changed because my EMR and CareCloud were so prepared. We didn't dread Oct 1, 2015 at all when we had to implement ICD-10- super easy for us, and no effect on insurance collections/payments.

Pros: We love how easy to use CareCloud is. The workflows are very user friendly and the webinars CareCloud provides are great resources for learning to use to the product. Also, CareCloud assigns a friendly, knowledgeable Client Manager to your account to assist in questions you may have. Additionally, CareCloud support is also available via a phone call or online support.

Cons: Overall, we are very pleased with the product. The main thing I don't like about CareCloud is that they don't provide a support line for patients needing help with the patient portal. Therefore, the practice must contact support on the patient's behalf.

Cons: I would love to be able to have access to the billing and claims app on an iPad, so that I can fix errors and submit claims from anywhere.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would recommend to use the new payment plan feature. Our office recently got new merchants (Clover), so we did not opt to have the payment plan app activated.
