I am used to all the ways to use it, but I've found others have trouble. I'm guessing the newer versions are more user-friendly. But I remain devoted to my old-fashioned version! Pros I have used OrgPlus since it first came out in ver.1, and love it for creating org chars. When they underwent a big software advance, I never did upgrade but still use the old version and it works perfectly. Sometimes, simpler is better! Cons Some of the user interface aspects of the version I have might be a bit clunky, but I'm used to them. Reasons for choosing Insperity OrgPlus It was the only product available then, and I worked in a nonprofit organization (a museum) that was undergoing staff changes. This was way back in the late 1980s! I still think it's great. It was very user friendly easy to use. We merged with another company and went to their application for payroll and time and attendance. Cons Could not request future time in the system. Adding/deleting employees is as simple as updating the spreadsheet and importing the changes. Pros I like importing data from Excel to create the chart. Cons Newer, web-based version does not have the features we use in the desktop version. We need to shop for a new solution.
