Pros The setup was simple and fast. Very cost efficient. Cons I haven't found payroll report that I need, will need to call in to find. There is a 4 day lead time on submitting payroll. I don’t even think about filing my quarterly reports or making deposits. Employees clock in and I OK payroll every week. That’s it! Definitely employee payroll deposit. Pros All of my payroll in one place. Replaced the software I was using for very little money extra. I don’t have to update every year. I love it. Cons Actually there isn’t anything to dislike about Patriot software payroll. My only contact for help was at the last days for quarterly tax reports. The hadn’t been filed yet so I emailed and they answered right away that they were done on time. They were too. Pros I like the ability to manage all aspects of my payroll and the availability of the Patriot support team. Cons I don´t like having to wait 5 business days between pulling $ from running and finishing payroll. Independent Business Owner Management Consulting Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Payroll for Contractors" September 16, 2020 5.0 Patriot is solving my problem by allowing to prep payroll at least 4 days out, and giving me the opportunity to tell me the status when the funds will be withdrawn with ample time for me to run to banks and make deposits. Pros This product so far has been great! I enjoy that I can schedule my direct deposits for my Contractors and Patriot does the rest. Once you get to know the menu items and where to find it, its a breeze. Although I am on the trial, I think I will continue to use the service to pay my Contractors. Cons Since I just do payroll for the contractors only, I disliked the fact that I had to add at least one employee in order to complete direct deposit. I added myself as the employee, and it made it a little confusing. However, when I called Patriot to assist with completing it, the reps I spoke with on 3 occasions were awesome. They explained the problem, resolved it and everything worked out. Reason for choosing Patriot Payroll I really chose Patriot for the price... that was my first deciding factor. Second decision was features and then ease of use. This is a great product. I am not at all dis-satisfied. Employee payrolls can be processed at any time and 1099's are created timely by Patriot. Patriot alleviates myself of many tedious business tasks and allows me to stay focused on client workload. Pros The ability to quickly run payroll at any time creates efficiency in my business. Labor is tremendously reduced. Communication with Customer Service has always been helpful an any issues are quickly resolved. Cons At this time, I have zero complaints. I have been using Patriot for 2 years. My account needed to switch and I was quite hesitant initially as idon't like change but everything worked out and it seems like a flawless software program. Cons I haven't had any cons with this program again I'm only the end user so I'm not sure how everyone else works it.
