I have never had an issue since I started. Pros I'm a small business and payroll services were outrageously expensive, this is such a perfect alternative for us versus ADP etc. Also knowing that I don't have to worry about the 940 and 941 filings makes that alone worth the price. Cons Honestly it's my own fault but I don't have it integrated in to our quickbooks so I have to manually enter the checks but again I'm a small business and it takes less than 5 minutes to do it. They were helpful by phone and easy to understand. Pros The payroll program was cost effective for a small business. It was easy to setup and get into the Auto Withdrawal mode which most small businesses would like. Cons I haven't experienced anything yet to like least. Keep doing what you're doing! Was kind of caught off guard thinking that it would be difficult and not what I expected with the cost point. I was wrong. It is perfect for the small business that needs to focus on revenue in not payroll out. Easy to set up, easy to run. And it was nice to have the first 30 days free to be sure it was a fit and the system did what it needed to. Pros Easy to use as a first time business owner doing payroll. The program guided me through the forms and filing requirements to do it right. Then the process of running payroll is intuitive and straightforward. The transactions flow right through to Patriot Accounting without the need to do anything further. Have utilized customer support twice and have found them knowlegeable enough to quickly answer my questions. Cons Nothing comes to mind. There was an issue with my state unemployment insurance being overpaid by about a dollar, but Patriot was out in front of this and provided a refund transaction. Every single time I had an issue customer service was prompt and efficient! Pros It’s easy to use and customer service is fantastic! Unless it’s the fact that don’t offer a done for you payroll service. Otherwise it’s great for our needs. It went from barely functioning time tracking and transferring data to everything being in one app. Despite the limitations, we would recommend Patriot to others looking for a stable, customer service oriented company to run their payroll. Pros Hands down the best part of this software is the customer support. Having moved from Quickbooks where you can never talk to anyone about anything, the customer support is next level with almost immediate chat response times and the ability to resolve most questions right away. Cons The downside is that it is much more limited in some functions. It is limited in your ability to track different jobs or workers comp codes easily. This software is certainly built for ease of use and affordability, but it does lack in a few features that would benefit customers who are in industries that require more tracking of where and what employees are doing. Our employees do complain about the app sometimes, but not enough for us to go back to Quickbooks. If I have questions, their team is a simple chat or phone call away. Pros The platform makes the experience super easy and seamless. I do not have to do anything with the new auto-payroll feature! It automatically pulls and sends the taxes for me, which also makes it easy for my CPA as well. Cons I have no issues.
