I kicked myself for not switching over from a national competitor earlier. I am embarrassed to write that what made me delay in trying Patriot Software was the hokey song in their commercials. Now I hum and sing along each time I hear the ditty on Sirius Radio!! Pros All, this software is straight forward and clear to use. Tech support is outstanding and can get you through any struggles with setup or use. Cons I have not found any deficiencies with this complete payroll solution. The costumer service walked me through very quickly everything I needed to know. Pros I like how simple it is to use this product. I like how easy it is to get in touch with costumer service and how much help they were to me. Cons The only con I could say is that it took me a little to understand which of the services was the best for my specific business. Being a one person shop, I may pay myself quarterly, or even twice a year. It has made my business easier to operate and at less cost than my previous payroll provider Cons I would like to havthe option for my payroll to run automatically unless I make contact otherwise. I am on a salary, so my payroll is identical every month. This would reduce my monthly effort to ZERO. Pros It's a really simple software - I'm not an accountant, I'm more of a creative. Patriot really does everything for us so I don't have to think about it too much. My accountant can log in as a user and make sure things are going well and give me tips or make changes when needed. They also can import right to our P/L statement. Cons I have to hit "run payroll" to get to the dashboard right now. Not sure if that's a user problem unique to me, but I'd rather just go to the dashboard by default. Review Source KS Kevin S. Cons The time for direct deposit is very excessive, it says four business days, but on Labor Day it wouldn’t allow me to do even that, it pushed my payroll back. In addition especially if you are using simple payroll the cost is 4 times less per month. Lastly the CSR's are knowledgeable and professional. Wait times for chat and call back's have not exceeded 5 minutes which is impossible to value. Cons At this point I haven't run into any issues. Feel staff should be trained on categories that reflect religious institutions.
