This seemed quite straight forward and accessible, and for me it has been. That said, I have a lot of previous bookkeeping experience. I think that this software might be aimed at entry level folks, and could benefit from more user assistance features... reminders when things might be due for instance. Checklists. Price seems reasonable to compensate the company for development and hosting. Pros 1) Steps to setting up a small business with links 2) entering in the weekly payroll is easy 3) gives me the data for my tax filing 4) reminded me about how Covid rules would work Cons 1) setting up the contributions versus deductions wasn't intuitive 2) Should include more on filing taxes even for just the payroll, not the accounting users 3) end of year reminders would be great 4) more tutorials on how to use the softward Review Source MS Michelle S. The site is easy to use. Pros As i embarked on a new venture I was looking for a company to handle payroll and researched quite a few before learning about and settling on Patriot. I have never regretted and never looked back. The setup was pretty easy. The support has been great, particularly when I ran into some unusual issues. i recommend Patriot to other all of the time. I highly recommend it! Pros is incredibly easy to use. I run my payroll in about 40 seconds. They take care of so much of my business needs, it's amazing. Cons The only challenges I've had is getting my employee set up who moved out of state, but that's not Patriot's responsibility at all. I've had no problems with the Patriot company or software. Trying to reach a state worker was horrible, always talking to a machine while trying to speak with a human. Our payroll is a bit unorthodox, in that the salary can be different each pay period. Although other software told me they could do this, they can not. The company is also easy to deal with. I am a Happy Client of Patriot Payroll Cons No there are no features missing. Integration is seamless. The product is easy to use. It has more features and benefits than all the other programs. I don't see myself ever changing back to the other products.
