It's very easy to use and saves me time and money. Pros The program is very user friendly. Patriot handles all the taxes, including extra checks and voided checks. The customer support is incredible. Pros I like the option of being able to purchase workers comp insurance based on actual monthly payroll. I also like the feature of Payroll details and downloading a spread sheet to give to my accountant for tax purposes. With the issue, an email was sent to me informing me of the solution timeline Pros I love that I can use this wherever I am. The browser looks the same on all devices so it makes it easy to run payroll whenever I am! I love it. April 29, 2018 5.0 Pros It pays the payroll taxes for me and submits the paper work figures out what is owed. Keeps up with the accounting and the few times I have a problem I can talk to them on line and figure it our very quickly. October 6, 2020 5.0 As payroll administrator, I LOVE this product as it is very efficient to use and it doesn't complicate payroll as we have bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for our employees. Pros I love how easy it is to use for my company's payroll needs. We have both bi-weekly and monthly payrolls. Also, we give quarterly bonuses and this product has handled implementing that task very well. Cons I have not experienced anything that would negate the overall efficiency of this product especially its costs as it has saved our company a lot of money. Review Source FT Frank T. We simply could not put up with patriot and their ridiculous lead time and bad service. Pros At the time my client liked the affordability of the software. Costs for self service payroll is very affordable which is great for small business. There isn't anything to like about this platform outside of that, however. Cons 4 day lead time for direct deposit. This isn't reasonable for most clients and it's almost impossible to adhere to. There are times especially around holidays where clients will have to guess hours for their employees because payroll for direct deposit will be due before the payroll period ends. Patriots way around this is to deposit money into a trust fund beforehand but that makes no sense for small business who simply don't have the cash flow. Pros I am not tech savvy but I didn't want to pay someone else to do payroll for me for only 5 employees. My CPA wanted to charge me several hundred dollars a month to do payroll. I am glad I had sense enough to try Patriot Payroll. Patriot makes payroll simple and I haven't had any problems using the software. Super user-friendly and intuitive. Explanations for more complicated aspects are easy to understand and follow. Highly recommend. Cons The only con I can see is that you can't easily change your employees from one company to another (affiliated company) without starting a new account and re-entering all of the information. The reporting functions are very good as well as tax reporting. I can run my own 940's, 1099's, W-2s, etc. The customer support is excellent. On a few occasions, I either received help via chat or over the phone and every time they were able to walk me through the solution to my question/problem. Pros The ability to run different types reports whenever I need them. I no longer have to call my accountant and wait for them to get the information I need. " November 13, 2019 5.0 We are a small, family owned and operated business who, for the last 36 years, has been processing payroll by hand. Patriot Software has allowed us to run a payroll quickly and efficiently. It typically takes me less than 15 minutes to run and print my checks, and print my reports! Well worth the price, which is extremely reasonable! I highly recommend this software! Pros Ease of use, low cost, customization, quick.
