It's truly a great product and I would definitely recommend this product to other small business users. Pros The ease of use and great customer service. I also love the value for the money and the great walk through videos for the set up. Cons Cannot think of anything at the moment. Maybe the dashboard could use some help. It was way too much for just a simple one man business like myself. I left and came to Patriot looking for a simpler solution. Pros the payroll function was easy to use. as an S corp, I am a one man show, so it's important that i'm not overloaded with necessary steps. Cons For me there still seemed to be a lot of options and features on the front page that I didn't need. It got me a bit overwhelmed but because the simplest path was the payroll option, i was okay. December 17, 2024 5.0 Patriot full-service payroll is a lifesaver to me in my job position and for our company! The ease of use and the customer service are outstanding. Pros Ease of use and customer service is outstanding! Cons I would like to be able to add a different pay period to a company after the company is set up. Easy to do payroll, run reports and do year-end tasks. Support is readily available and very helpful in getting things resolved when having questions. Pros Ease of learning the program and integration into QuickBooks desktop. Cons Not really a con, but took a little time to set up taxes and setting up accounts to integrate into QuickBooks. The customer service and sales experience is always on point and very helpful. Our small business was with Patriot Software through the venture capital bank collapse, and although Patriot software was involved, their commitment to providing support, transparent communication, and ultimately lessons learned was a huge confidence booster in the quality of the people who make up the company. Pros Patriot Payroll software is a great value for small business owners. It provides great customer service and high quality payroll management software and a very good price for what you are purchasing. Cons The payroll software simplifies the payroll experience as much as possible, but running payroll is a complex task. We are considering moving from QBO to Patriot for our accounting as well. Pros We love using Patriot. It is simple enough for anyone to use for processing payroll and customer support has been very good in helping to answer questions at any time. Cons We had an issue with amounts rounding up when an employee is using sick leave resulting in the gross pay being a cent over what it actually is. Although this seems trivial, it does matter for accounting records. You can schedule employees, keep track payroll and get ready for tax seasons with no fuss or stress. Pros It is easy to use and it has a clean design. Cons Setting up the direct deposit was difficult as there was a glitch that kept running me in circles, but that was back in 2021when I set it up so it probably has been fixed.
