Cons The reports do not offer any way to adjust. If I have any questions, all I do is call and a real person is ready to help me. They have helped me set up the program and make adjustments to fit our company's needs. I would highly recommend! Pros I have been using this software for a small company and I find it easy to use. I also like the various reports I can print out to keep track of payroll and taxes. Patriot makes sure that all my taxes are paid and up to date which was one of the features why I bought this software. It is also reasonably priced. Cons I haven't found anything I don't like about it yet. Pros I love that it is easy. I love that I don't have to worry about paying the taxes because Patriot can do it for me. I also love the price. Cons I have not come across any yet. The few times I have had an issue I just called Patriot directly and they helped. Reason for choosing Patriot Software Patriot was more affordable and straight forward for what we needed. Pros The payroll capability was easy to set up and use, I could just about forget about the details of payroll and taxes and work on our program and functions. Cons We tried the accounting product but for a small non-profit the set-up was more complex and detailed than we really needed. But I can see the value and ease for a larger group. I would not use any other firm. Pros 1) The support staff was very helpful. The set was stress free and complete 2) Easy to input data. I spend less than 10 minutes a week on payroll. 3) The process is seamless; I enter payroll once and forget about it until I return for next pay cycle. 4) Less expensive than the larger payroll software firms with better customer service. Cons There are no negatives that I have discovered. I have gone through a complete year cycle and even the end of year, W-2,W-3,SSA, filings went smoothly. Review Source EN Erinlynne N. This program does more than my old program (files 1099, etc). Pros I have always been challenged by the task of running payroll. is very efficient and very well priced. I have used ALL of the major players in the payroll software/services industry and Patriot is BY FAR the best. It's so simple to use, priced better than all of the services I have tried and has just the right amount of services that I want. Even my accountant used it and loved it. Cons I really love everything. Maybe a calendar function to help remind me when to run payroll, or do any filing. It may actually have this functionality, but I have not checked. Reason for choosing Patriot Software The web portal is so simple, its not more than I need, and not less. It takes only a few minutes to make it happen. My employees can use the portal to view paystubs, so I don't have to print anything out. Super easy! Pros It guides you through the setup and prompts you for all the required information. I have never done payroll, so I was worried that it would be difficult, but this software makes it very easy. Cons There is nothing that I can think of. I have not figured out the integration with Quickbooks, but haven't really tried. In my business, there are various levels of pay due to the different areas of work we preform and it is easy to set up and use. I like that you can also add and pay contracted workers if needed. I originally was going to use a different company but after researching both, Patriot was not only better, easier and their customer service very good but their rates are extremely lower. I highly recommend them. Cons There really isn't anything that I personally can complain about. Pros The features that are included is hardly be less then enough. The support team is where the credit is due. Not only do they teach you how to use this program. It's pretty much self explanatory after that. I can refer this time and time again which is why I'm actually grateful to have found an easy solution to my payroll needs! Cons The only thing I have to say is the fact that I was uneducated. From the day I stepped into the office. I learned and taught myself with super advice from Patriot Personnel.
