Pros: I love the ease of use the most about the DI Central software. We haven't experienced any down time utilizing DI Central. It is very reliable and consistent!

Cons: Does DI Central have integration with Quick Books capabilities. That would be an asset! I would like to see more integratoin with my internal programs so that the processing of orders could be more seemless.

Overall: The greatest benefit to utilizing DI Central as my EDI provider is the ease of use, and their reliability. I have found the customer support team to be prompt with the response when needed!
I have never experienced any down time or missed transmissions with DI Central. They are an outstanding EDI provider!

Pros: it is friendly user, we can automate a lot of data and have less user data entry, steps are easy to follow

Cons: on your web site it is mention that it is integrate to Dynamics GP, but in reality most of the needs must have a developement
we can communicate easily with our customer but to exchange transaction with supplier and carrier we have to process with other developper to get the information
and not all the edi transaction are available most if available we must read into di web only it cannot be integrated into dynamics gp and update our files
we cannot customize the notification to specific person

Overall it's a pretty good solution for businesses that do a lot of EDI transactions

Pros: Customer support is helpful and knowledgeable. It's easy to learn and use. You can process EDI transactions from any computer. It didn't take long to figure out. That's the basic way to use the software. We integrate it with our Quickbooks so I don't have to enter in anything to the system...it's all just a few clicks.

Cons: For just the EDI web version, the site can sometimes run slow...when using the software version, it can also transfer over to QB very slowly. And sometimes things just can't sync for whatever reason which is frustrating.

Overall: When it works as planned it saves me a lot of time!!!!

Pros: Web-based, no hardware / software purchase required.

Cons: Lacks some very basic functionality, like ability to create an invoice directly from an Advance Ship Notification (ASN/856), or to upload invoice data from a .csv file. The inability to create an invoice directly from what items were actually shipped leaves a lot of room for error in data entry, creates hours upon hours of double-work if you frequently ship less than your full PO, and opens the door for chargebacks. Also, while software is web-based it will not work with Mac operating system (requires Windows). So if you run Mac, you'll need to buy some new PCs to run this app.

Overall: Signed up for DiWeb after searching for a web-based EDI solution for our new and growing clothing brand. Sales team was great, made a lot of promises, and seemed like a fantastic alternative to GXS' bloated pricing and cumbersome usability for a similar product. 2 months in, it turns out they're all the same. Terrible experience. So far, our 3 support requests have each taken about a month to be addressed by 'customer service' team, and actual monthly cost is consistently 2-3X what was quoted to us by sales team. Thumbs down.

Recommendations to other buyers: Do not expect this software to save you any time or create any efficiency for your company, it is simply a means to be compliant with your customers' EDI requirements. A necessary evil, but certainly not a good experience or a help in any way. Basically just an added operating expense.

Pros: It's user friendly, simple and productive!

We have been using this software for about 3 years now. Overall, we are very pleased with the system, and we cannot imagine trying to conduct our daily business on any other software.

Pros

- Very powerful, scalable
- Excellent customer service for implementation AND ongoing needs
- Quick adoption for new employees

Cons: Ship Notice/manifest is little complicated for the new users

Once the order line is used for the shipment, It should automatically grey out in order to avoid errors

Overall: Does not applies

Once I was aquianted with Di Central it was easier to use.

Pros: It covers a wide variety of functions - each partner we have uses some different functions. Compatibility with all of our partners help. Customer Service is very knowledgeble and their follow up it top notch!

Cons: Not all feature cover every vriable. ex: when doing a 856 ASN - Pallets - it is hard for our company as we put many different items in a box and the quantity changes.....

Overall: It allows me on a daily bases to provide my parters with the info they require to send orders, receive Shipment notifications and ultimately receive our goods in fast and more accurate.

Moderate satisfication, sometimes when needed help, not necessary getting it right away.

Pros: Simple enough to use, we use most of the EDI 850/856/810/846 for our order fulfillment. mostly on the back end. rarely we have to login Dicentral for anything specific.

Cons: the transaction is pretty troublefree once all data exchange are setup, but does come in a price, and sometimes, lost track of the usage without upgrading to a better package within the dicentral plan, it could get very expensive.

Overall: it's EDI, save us a lot of time, and allow us to deal with customers that requires us to have EDI ready with them.

Terrible customer service. Issues go unresolved for days

Pros: The interface is somewhat friendly to use, but that's about it. I can't think of anything else that was good about this platform.

Cons: I've worked with several applications and their customer service is the worst in the industry. Issues go days without a response, and that's if they respond. There were issues with their programming as well, and they have high costs compared to other platforms.

Overall: The platform was so inadequate that it forced to do a more through comparison, with many different platforms to switch to.

Pros: We like that we can get the orders and invoice them right from DiCentral on EDI and it keeps track of all orders and invoices.

Cons: Response time to getting things fixed and lack of knowledge on their end. Our own IT person knows more about their software than they do and they are not very receptive to listening to him about it yet he is very versed on all things related. They could learn a lot from him.

Overall: Most big companies in our industry use it and it is a necessary thing. Does make for ease of uniformity.

The EDI solution has increased efficiency for part of our business.

Pros: EDI has reduced the chance of errors in the areas of the business we were able to integrate it. It has also reduced the processing time.

Cons: Due to the way we configure our product in ERP a full integration into EDI has not been possible. It works well on part orders but not for full assemblies. This is not a result of poor programming but rather a result of the cost of change.

Overall: The software allows us a better connection to one of our customers.

Pros: got the job done, just needed to upgrade to have more convenient features. very affordable for someone just getting into EDI

Cons: had to use a PC, couldn't batch print or mass fill with our basic software. customer service was non existent or a person that didn't speak english. Extremely cumbersome using the basic version of the software. required lots of redundancies unless you upgraded to a higher end version.

So far our experience has been very good.

Pros: We like the availability of the system. When you do maintenance you do not interrupt our business. The features/functionality are also good.

Cons: For the most part it is easy to use but when you are looking for a specific item you have to look through each quarter, why not be able to just search everything to make it easier and less time consuming.

Overall: We receive our order from our customers much quicker then sending by fax.

Very satisfied with the software.

Pros: Very easy to work with. I receive PO's at least twice a week and invoice them very easy. Also is easy to create invoices of PO's created at the stores, not received at the portal.

Cons: I don't have any complains. This is a very ease software to work with. Soon we will receive Walgreens PO's, an easier way to confirm and invoice their orders.

Overall: I receive PO's and I'm able to send invoices at the same portal.

Pros: User friendly and it's web service. You could use it anywhere with internet. No need for third party software to install for use.

Cons: Sometimes the internet is slow so that the ASN labels are printing slower. If the interface can be designed more easily to read and find...that will be batter

Overall: We do not need a EDI department to integrate or change frequently to meet the changes from our trading partners.

Had to use it for a particular customer. Using their web portal is like trying to swim with no hands

Pros: I did not like anything about using this software. on a regular basis I use other EDI providers and by contrast this is terrible. i would rather go back to paper orders then continue to use this software.

Cons: system was not intuitive. Actions were unnecessarily complicated. poor summery view. in general if you are not integrated then at evey level this software is treble- it feels like they intentionally made it difficult to force people to integrate with them.

Overall: no benefits we were forced to use it for a particular customer.

Pros: Di Central provides a good service for small companies looking to integrate with in house software or process EDI Documents via the web.

Cons: Working with the company to add new partners sometimes takes a very long time. Other than this, once things are set up they work great.

Pros: Having the software directly connected with our ERP system and the ease of use when importing and exporting daily transactions.

Cons: We've had multiple issues recently and the rate in which the issue are being resolved is slow. In our world issues need to be corrected the same day, or the day after at the latest.

Pros: It is an easy software to learn and to operate. It is also recognized by major Department Stores and Chain Stores that we are working with.

Cons: Sometimes the website freezes and it is almost impossible to go to the next step without calling the customer support.

Pros: All services in a same place Is perfect for us and the price are not expensive so all is good. When you call for information we are very satisfy.

Cons: nothing I think all it's ok we never have problem with that software we received the information. But when the new year start we don't received the invoices but now it's ok.

Pros: I am a daily user of DI Central and the biggest pro is it allows you to stay logged in all day without re-entering log-in and passwords.

Cons: I hate the slow pop-ups and double reminders, not sure why Microsoft security won't allow the pop-ups to happen without always going into a protective mode.

Overall: Perfect itemized billing.

Pros: The software always seems to be adding new features to keep up with the constant technology changes. They send out new updates/notices all the time.

Pros: I like the ability to batch ASN's, Invoices...etc. If I ever have an issue, then I can call customer service and find a solution quickly.

Cons: Latency issues. It would be nice if the ability to batch 200 PO's would really be a possibility without freezing up the entire site.

We have been using Di Central as our EDI provider since 2009 and have been very satisfied.

Pros: I like that you can flag items with various colour options. I like having EDI in general for a reference of seeing all orders in one place.

Cons: It runs extremely slowly. It opens a lot of multiple windows. It does not track invoice numbers well, it will often skip numbers. It will not batch export multiple customer invoices to Quickbooks Online.
It visually feels old and tiring to look at.

Overall: Meets customer requirements for EDI.

Pros: The fact that I do not have to send invoices. Help is easy to reach and the customer service is good.

Cons: Once an error ismade it can not be corrected without a chargeback. Every customer has a different screen which make is harder to learn

Pros: it figures out the partial boxes with no extra effort . Also I like the bundle to ASN and Invoice options that it provides.

Cons: I find the software easy to use and really havent found any cons. I have been using SPS and DiCentral is much better

Pros: It's convenient, quick, easy; I like that I can see & process my orders from anywhere (work & home).

Cons: The cost of course.

Pros: Able to support very large amount of files and document without crashing
easy to use and understand

Cons: customer support is very slow and they dont answer unless you email 3 or 4 times

Pros: Software had only the important information customer needed . Got straight to business. Only required information.

Cons: slow at times. Software froze. had to download the information before i can print which sometimes took time.

Pros: It prevents errors immediately. Both companies match right away. All important information is included.

Cons: Not enough training. Errors are hard to go back and correct. No place to put vendor invoice number or vendor packing slip number.

Pros: Very easy to use and support is always there to assist if needed. Documents can be transferred quickly error free.

Cons: The only con using this software is the high cost per trading partner, monthly service fee and KB usage.

Pros: It is user friendly once you know what you are doing. Receive the orders, submit everything when it ships.

Pros: the ease of adding items to our catalog or adding trading partners has been relatively simple and fast.

Cons: the API connections took a bit of work on our end and the reporting could be easier to access and responsive.

Pros: Fairly intuitive. Fast and easy to use once acclimated to using it. Good sort tools. Effective use of font colors to determine status of EDI documents.

Cons: Outbox does not have built in checker to make sure duplicate ASN numbers are not generated. This can lead to chargebacks from customer if the same ASN number is used. I must double check that duplicate ASN number are not created. Packing lists are fairly generic looking, no provision for adding custom logos. The user interface looks dated and generic (but please don't change it as I'm accustomed to it.)

so far it has been very positive

Pros: now that we have learned how to use it, it has cut down our time for entering orders. though we would prefer to be able to get one order per part number.

Cons: when we get error messages it is sometimes difficult getting them resolved. we are not familiar with the codes etc.

Overall: time saving aspect of it is that our orders are entered directly into the system for us.

We never have any issues so we would one of those customers that aren't very helpful

Pros: Very easy to operate and pretty much self explanatory. We use a number of different EDI platforms with our logistics needs and yours is much easier to operate and much more user friendly.

Cons: I said we have had zero issues since day one so I don't have any Cons to add.

Overall: Extremely efficient and we can get information to our customers real time. In an industry like ours, the only thing that can truly set you apart from your competitors is efficient and accurate information.

Love this software and would definitely recommend!

Pros: We have always had phenomenal customer support with the software. I like that we can use the same system with multiple different trading partners. I like that everything is kept in one place and stored efficiently.

Cons: Two things. I don't like that I have to use internet explorer on a PC to use all of the features. I would love to be able to use other browsers and possibly in the future a Mac to use the system. Second, I don't think the website is very user friendly. Once I learned the in's and out's of the system I had it down, but training new people is often difficult.

Overall: Easy data exchange between our company and our trading partners.

For the most part we have no issues

Pros: integrated with SAP B1, which allows us seamless processing of our EDI. automatic EDI exporting allows us to get ASNs to the customer timely.

Cons: difficult to see errors or mistransmissions. there is no way for us to see if an order does not make it to the warehouse.

Easier now, since we have worked out all the bugs

Pros: I like that when I send off our invoices, we get a confirmation that it has been received. we seem to be getting our payments in a timely manner as well now.

Cons: When we first started there was a lot of issues. We had to send a cover sheet, and we didn't know if it went or not. we didn't get payments at first, because of a system issue. needed to be streamlined.

Overall: we are able to work with companies that don't accept our regular invoices

I found it very easy to use and to navigate

Pros: Most of our use is through our EDI provider, eZCom Software, but using the information to see the progress of our EDI testing is very helpful. It's nice to know what has been done, what is being processed and what is still required. This way I can get with eZCom to get the necessary testing completed.

Cons: We have been using this software to complete EDI testing for about 4 years as required by our customers and I have found no cons in the time we have been using it.

Pros: They handle all the grunt work, like partner interfaces, changes, remapping and I just have to interface to it which is much easier on our side.

Cons: Functionality can be lacking at times with the more unusual documents, and cost can be a bit much to handle if you are goign from in house to this type of EDI.

Overall: The biggest benefit is they handle the partner interface, setup and changes. All the odd stuff that partner specific.

Pros: easy to find current and past orders. easy to send and receive orders, easy to submit asn's and submit invoices

Cons: that I have to press refresh to see what has been completed after each task. Also, I would like to be able to have a template of each document so that fix any errors.

Overall: i was able to save time, easy to use easy to access. i'm able to meet my deadlines beciase the software is so very easy to understand.

This software is not as user friendly as some others, and has a very antiquated look and feel

Pros: There are no positive qualities that come to mind that I can comment on. I personally do not care for this software as there are other products out there that are more user friendly.

Cons: This software has such an antiquated look and feel to it. The pop up windows, drop downs, and even the fonts make it look like old software.

Overall: the only benefit is that it provides the services it was intended for.

Pros: To be clear, we used this solution for our customers that required an EDI connection. DiCentral provided a portal to manage and submit EDI docs with those customers. Overall, It did what it was made to do (most of the time). We were able to receive PO's and submit invoices to our customers.

Cons: Overall, It did what it was made to do (most of the time). There are issues regarding JAVA and specific browsers that fail to load documents for upload, like ASN's and sometimes even Invoices.

Overall: A connection to our customer because they ONLY use EDI.

I received the PO's through the EDI the program to work with one of our Dealers

Pros: It is easy to read the screen and to send 820's and 855's.
I like receiving an email when there are new PO's.

Cons: I find when issuing the ASN that this screen can be confusing and also if you have to do a partial shipment.

Overall: I like receiving the emails when there are new notifications.
If there was a user manual or something that would help explain some of the functions would be helpful.
The screen is also very easy to use.

Pros: easy to use, not much more to say or to compare to as I am not familiar with other programs. This is the only system we have ever used

Cons: sometime the site has Intermittent downtime notifications - often they update on the weekends when we are scheduled to receive our product activity data and tranfer & resale reports- which delays receipt

Overall: ease of invoicing and receiving orders

DIC always helps us immediately if we need to open a case.

Pros: It is pretty easy to use and train new people on it. And if needed, we ask support for help and they respond right away.

Cons: Sometimes the latency in between uploading info can cause issues. But it's rare, and honestly it could be our internet connection :)

Overall: Party City is our main account on DIC, but we are implementing Walgreens now with the great help of the support team.

Pros: Can clearly find PO's and filters are easily usable. I like the ability to combine ASN's and send things off in a way that's clear to me.

Cons: maybe they can hold sending off ASN's just in case a revision needs to be made last minute? Sometimes I make an error, that I Can revise, but it has been sent off, and have to do revised ASN.

Overall: Visibility and control

Very easy to use. Using it for about 6 months and it's a time saver!

Pros: Can't say I liked anything. We no longer use the software because our customer (reason unknown) no longer requires us to use it.

Cons: We could only use the software on a few pc's. Support could never resolve the issues that prevented other users from accessing/using the site.
We only "HAD" one customer that required us to use this software interface.

Overall: Allowed me to experience another web interface.

Overall, i have not had any major issues and customer service is always there to help.

Pros: I would recommend DI Central. Stay away from SPS commerce. Di Central has great support.

Pros: When completing the various fields for our customers, there are not too many fields that we need to populate. I also like the column that shows what documents have been sent

Cons: There are a lot of fields that don't need to be included on forms when they are being printed. Each form should be customized to meet each retailers requirements. As well, the number of entries shown on a page should be set. For example, if I set the page to show 50 entries, it's fine. When I go back to that same page, it defaults to 10. The recycle bin will have a lot of documents in it in a very short period of time. There should be a delete or archive feature.

Pros: the set up of the website is usable, easy to find the invoices, and easy to read edi system. Its nice that you don't have to read actual edi content and this changes it back into a readable PO

Cons: website training is not set up easily, waiting until you have an order to start training makes it impossible to be prepared. also communicating with customer service is near impossible. also its not usable on macs, only on internet explorer, which no one has used since 2006.

Overall: not having to learn to read edi

Great customer service that helps in real time instead of e-mail tag.

Pros: It's very easy to use, fairly intuitive and customer service is pretty responsive for the few cases I needed help on.

Cons: Having to search quarterly instead of by "all" or yearly messages. Would prefer a way to be able to update multiple orders that has different values across the board at once.

Pros: Customer service representative are readily available if you run into an issue and they provide valid solutions and training tips.

Cons: There was no mass update function. so if had a shipment that consisted of 300 documents and I needed to make a change to the orders, I had to change each one individually.

Pros: The multiple way it gives you as an option for packing is great . Second best part of the software is its capabilities to create back orders.

Pros: Price is good, the pricing structure is fair. Software is easy to navigate without much extra training.

Cons: Wish documents were more customizable; currently if I want to update product description on ASN or Invoice, I have to do so line by line rather than as a mass upload. Printing labels is also somewhat cumbersome as they generate in the internet browser rather than as a pdf or other saveable file so I have to print to pdf to be able to save them for records. These aren't insurmountable but could use improvement.

I find the software to be easy to navigate.

Pros: This software is easy to access and understand. Pretty streamline compared to other sites I use.
I find it pretty smooth working.

Cons: Sometimes ASN screen will get locked up but that issue has not happened in a while

Pros: I like that is keeps data over time and by quarter, easy to search for documents. Like that I have an employee assigned to our account for questions.

Cons: When I have to go thru customer service I cant understand them. Wish there was a way we could pause the account when we have no retailers without canceling the account and then having to pay set up fees again. Even if its just a once a year options. Wish there were more reports available with our monthly fee, without having to pay extra. Would like to see reports by item on what was shipped.

Very user friendly and customer support always seems to be quick to respond, and helpful.

Pros: ease of filling in the required information. It is nice to be able to fill in the blanks on the provided forms and have them let you know if you forget something

Cons: we should be able to get UPC labels and packing slip from in box as well as out box. Usually I have to bounce back and forth between the in box and the out box to process my shipments. It would be easier if all captions would be available in both the in and out boxes.

Pros: Notice when new orders arrive and ease of submitting Invoices as well as the reminders when items are in the inbox.. Side navigation bar is a plus.

Cons: Navigating through the system. When a new vendor is added there isn't a tutorial or FAQ to help with setting up templates, etc. Would be nice to have reminder when items are left in the outbox, since multiple steps are needed to submit invoices.

Pros: It is fairly easy to use, I am able to understand the set up and it is easy to use. We use it to coordinate our sales with a major department store

Cons: the many changes that take place with out advanced notification,,, at times I am in the middle of shipping out orders and the format has changed.

Overall: It allows my company to do business with a major department store. So it is necessary for my company.

Pros: I like that its a portal base and allows us to enter and update inventory in a very simple web based style. anyone with basic computer skills can use it.

Cons: I would like a way that we can get each order emailed directly through the portal linking it to our warehouse which would minimize the amount of work processing orders.

Overall great, some aspects are tedious to use

Pros: Makes EDI accessible to us without having to pay a large sum of money and integrate with our sales system to make sales with customers that require us to use EDO

Cons: Tedious data entry, the system is not that great at helping us validate information as it is being entered and regularly requires us to resubmit until it goes through.

Overall: Simplified accessible EDI

We worked with DiCentral for a Sears Canada transition.

Pros: It was more modern than the current set up for Sears Canada. The label printing functionality was a definite improvement.

Cons: There was not that much flexibility in the EDI transactions we were testing. Going with a modern approach there should have been more options.

Overall: It was more modern and up to date.

Pros: our team use it. they are happy with the use of the software confirmation are send timely and have not got any horrible feed back

Cons: as the software being used, the maintenance down time could be frustrating but we have not got any negative reviews

Pros: I like all the possibilities you have with the use of DiCentral for further working on the supply chain of a company. I like you can integrate it with SAP as well

Cons: Call center, their operators, though very nice and polite, have a very difficult english speaking accent and it is very hard to understand them.

I needed an intermediary between my customer's system and my desk top with email to process orders.

Pros: As a user only, my experience with the service has been simple and easy for my use. I'm aware of no limitations for my needs.

Cons: As a user only, I have not experienced any problems with the system that I could ascribe to the software.

Overall: It enabled me to retain an important customer after it acquired an extensive computer system.

The ease of use is poor it's hard to create ASN's ect.

Pros: Everything is on the dashboard and document list. Easily viewed and ready when I go on to use it. Hope to see more improvements in the future.

Cons: ASN's are hard and depend on the Customer updating the portal and we get docked if they do not and it's in an awkward place etc.

Overall: Able to update our customer who uses it.

Software works well, frustration dealing with overseas representatatives

Pros: Straight forward to use and the label function for multiple sizes is great. I do also like that the software can be used to look back at past orders for specific info.

Cons: Please make the software ios (Apple friendly), would be great for the 50% of those who use Apple products. Thank you in advance.

It is still a bit soon to evaluate since it is not completely set up

Cons: I think it would be a better idea if the order wouldn't be transfered if there are errors in the transmission instead of entering with errors.

Pros: Relatively easy to navigate - Customer gave instructions on how to use and is there if we have questions.

Cons: Doesn't work easily the 1st time with Google Chrome - requires an Add-On item. Once installed its ok to use
