I’m a little more critical as I’m still a small company so the little hiccups take a lot of my time away from generating leads Pros Once I can get all of my AccuField issues resolved I think it will be much better. Again the organization is great. Pricing from ABC and Beacon is not 100% complete and I cannot find a lot of things from their catalogue Cons My accufield is hard to use. I also with CompanyCam could get set up to have my reports saved in the project folders. It’s a manual process right now. Using the documents for signatures is expensive. If it were not as much I’d love to consider it.I also don’t get notifications from the texts I get from my customers through the texting feature. I need help with get that figured out. Pros The software is able to tackle many of the workflow tasks associated with roofing remodeling siding and construction. Cons 2 things I don't like 1. an overwhelming amount of tools and options and without guidance it's hard to narrow down your process. I have taken advantage of their over computer zoom training it has made all the difference... 2. The price...its fair... but it feels like it should come with a free pizza or something else like maybe a hat... yes I had I would like a hat. I do with that the Quickbook integration worked both ways. As in, if we enter an invoice or job in Quickbooks it synced over to AccuLynx. Right now it's the other way around and that really doesn't work for us. Pros I'm still learning all the features, but so far it has been extremely easy to pick up. I absolutely love the dashboard, especially the sales leaderboard. I've gotten into many arguments with our sales reps just trying to get them those numbers and now they can just look at them themselves. Cons I don't like that we can't import data from Quickbooks. We enter all of our jobs in quickbooks first so it would be nice if it was a two way street on that. In order to use this feature we would have to completely change how we do jobs/invoices and right now that just isn't an option. Another problem I've had is that we do a lot of work with property managements, HOAs, and contractors. Most of whom we have multiple jobs assigned to. Right now it is extremely difficult to setup a contact that has multiple jobs in it. I believe that a fix for this is in the works from what I saw in the suggestions & feedback section. This is just a feature I'd like, but it would be really nice if AccuLynx integrated with CompanyCam. We switched over from Job Nimbus and it was really nice that any pictures our guys took out in the field using CompanyCam, automatically uploaded to Job Nimbus. Now I have to go to the project in CompanyCam and download the pictures, then upload them to AccuLynx. I know our crew can just take pictures using AccuLynx, but our guys are special and we barely have gotten them to use CompanyCam. From initial personalized 1-on-1 training to the tracking of my first lead through job completion, this software has what I’ve been looking for and my business is better for it. Pros Feature rich CRM software that addresses every aspect from lead to final invoicing and closure. I liked the quote/estimate feature the most because you can set up an estimate template and link it to your SRS (supplier) account so it automatically populates with your current pricing. I also liked the billing and invoicing. This allows the option to provide financing for your clients and record/track payments. Cons The only con isn’t really a con but more of a learning curve so it’s on the individual’s ability to understand, not the software’s ability to provide what is needed. Pros I absolutely love Acculynx. It is so easy to use and has everything we need in one place. I have been using Acculynx for 5+ years and it has eliminated pretty much every system that we used in the past. I can see information from every job we have ever done whether I’m in the office or in the field. It is our all in one solution. Cons The mobile app could be more powerful. Pros We've used Acculynx since 2012. Extremely easy to integrate and work with. Great reports and tracking options for almost everything a business needs to keep an eye on. Cons I personally like all of it. The area that some of my coworkers struggle with are using Production Calendar and estimating, it seems a little difficult for someone with less computer experience. It is a little pricey per user account, it would be nice if there was a bulk option vs. priced per individual. Pros Acculynx is very user-friendly and customizable. We are able to edit and update the workflow to fit our needs, and Acculynx is always updating/upgrading and adding new features to make the workflow easier and accessible. Cons Smartdocs take a while to load and edit and when emails are sent from Acculynx they sometimes get missed or sent to the clients' junk or spam folder. No CRM will ever be perfect for an organization unless you have a clear vision and 1-2 mil to drop on sales force enterprise/proprietary software. The opensource, integrative platform paired with a simplistic setup makes it hard to beat. Pros The biggest difference relative to the competitors we have used in the past is the ease of integration. JobNimbus was the software we used before, and almost every promised integration could not be implemented or required significant back-end work to do so. AccuLynx makes it very easy to integrate other systems into itself. You can genuinely use AccuLynx for damn near everything. Books will still need to be fully reconciled in QuickBooks, and last-minute changes to orders still require a phone call. But otherwise, this thing hits the nail on the head. For leaner companies, its simple open-source concept allows us to adjust and maneuver quickly. Cons The only cons are the field app and the cost (relative to some competitors). It is definitely a premium product, and the price reflects that. To our company, that cost is offset by the software's efficiency and its ability to cross-communicate throughout the organization. The field app needs to be remade in its entirety. It's glitchy and inconsistent. Not ideal when you're in a pinch. Reason for choosing AccuLynx We didn't have any alternative products. Based on our research this was the product that we wanted. It is definitely a premium product but, its worth every penny. No other CRM has it's capabilities from within the app. The only thing I wish they would fix is the photos. The customer service is 100% the best on the market, and for someone like me, that has a lot of questions that is very important! I am not tech savvy. The tech support is the best! Period! " April 10, 2025 4.0 I have used acculynx for 7 years now. I have seen it grow a lot, and they do add new features and make improvements continually. It is just unfortunate that each of those new features is an additional monthly fee. Pros seamless connection with multiple suppliers, updates supplier pricing, custom templates, great photo reports and photo editing. custom fields for data entry. Cons Customer support is lacking. They always want to email. I prefer a phone call. The pricing continues to increase without any new features. All new features are additional cost to implement, and they are all expensive. And they have increased the price on all the add on features as well. The cost is now more than the benefit from the software. It is just too expensive especially for a small business with only 2-3 users it is hard to justify the rising cost. The support team is responsive. I like the chat feature for questions. AccuLynx is constantly coming out with new features/integrations, so I am hopeful that some of our issues with the software will be addressed in the future. Pros The best thing about AccuLynx is that it was designed specifically for the roofing industry. Other CRMs have to be customized to meet the needs of roofers - AccuLynx, however, does not. The permit tracking feature is really helpful, especially when you have a bunch of projects going on at the same time. It helps you identify which jobs still need inspection. I also really like the ordering feature. We have ours set up to send orders directly to ABC. This integrative feature makes my life so much easier because it cuts down on the amount of administrative work. Cons It would be nice if there was an area in the permit tracking feature to track mid-roof inspections. It could be an optional field (since mid-roofs are not required everywhere/on every project). It would also be nice to have the option to delete notes in the file. At the moment, once the note is in there, you can't delete it. This can create some confusion if someone accidentally puts a note in the wrong file. One other thing is that the integrations with accounting software are limited. Our new accounting software won't integrate with AccuLynx, so that is going to create a problem of double-entry for us in the future. Reason for choosing AccuLynx AccuLynx was better suited to the roofing industry than MarketSharp. Frustrated at some things that feel like they should be simple. Pros I love the ability to put everything into this. One place to look for everything and see its status. Templates are not provided for things like quotes, estimates and invoices.They should be provided as an option to use unless hey want to import their own. Started a company about a year ago and needed software to help keep things organized as we grow. Demo'd every software I could find and ultimately Acculynx was still the best option. Pros Everything related to the job is in one place, and it's easy to get to. The dashboard is useful and relevant, and the software is scalable from small to large businesses according to needs. Integrates with many other programs and everything works well. Cons Not as customizable as others, but works so well it doesn't need to be necessarily (apple vs android so to speak.) Dont like that you have to pay extra for features that I would consider essential, such as smart docs and the full scheduler/production mode. The transfer of data did not happen as smoothly as anticipated, documents and pictures had to be manually entered for each lead once transferred. We are slowly working on entering the information we need. Pros I do like the ease of entering leads, ability to order materials and that you can see where the crew is at. Cons I don't like that messages are not removable. Sometimes notes in the system need to be changed and messages is the only place to create notes. I don't like that I am not able to see if the email recipient has opened the email or not, with our last crm we were able to see if the email was opened, clicked etc. I don't like that if I have a task/event/calendar meeting that I have attached multiple people to, I have to edit each individual task if something changes, it doesn't allow me to edit all events at one time. The customer service has been good and are quick to respond. Pros That it automatically pulls in and sends out to QuickBooks. Cons The worksheet’s categories are not definable and sometimes I have need of a section head not available. The fact that if something gets messed up due to lack of understanding, you have to use an archaic method to correct the errors. I have been using for close to 10 years now and have enjoyed the majority of the upgrades. Mostly just me getting used to them (lol) Pros I really like the field app for adding the photos, and scanning documents. That is awesome. I used to use cams canner and now I do not :) Job tracking is easy. Cons Not able to add additional adjuster names/numbers. We are usually dealing with a field Adjuster and a desk adjuster not to mention new adjuster on claim. I would also like to see data only need to be added once, then be able to be added in other functions such as subcontractors/vendors. They could be added in vendors, directory and contacts by adding info 1 time? Also, it would be nice to edit orders without having to clear all progress but not sure what all the other bad stuff is that could happen.
