Pros

Mail Assistant, many-to-many relations, linking anything to anything, defining relations, grouping, searching, reporting. Excellent intuitive and effective user interface.

Cons

Limited formatting and no graphics in notes. Better drag and drop user interface for links to folders and documents.

Solid as a rock. Their software is one of the backbones of our company. THeir support has always been fast and efficient. Great knowledge DB as well

Cons

Prefer internal standalone version that can be purchased vs. cloud based which they seem to be moving towards.

This CRM is great for those who are devoted to Apple. I loved it while it lasted, but I had to change CRMs due to my team utilizing more than just Apple products.

Pros

It integrates with all your native apple applications and can enhance productivity. The app is intuitive and mimics the feel of apple applications.

Cons

If you are implementing this CRM for your company and you have several team members that you'd like to include, be aware that you may be unintentionally excluding many of your team members. The CRM does not work on PC or Android mobile devices.

Pros

The interface is really easy to use and fairly comprehensive, it's great for team working and collaborating for projects. The integration with Apple email makes it easy to create task from incoming emails.

Cons

The fact that it's Apple exclusive, being one of its biggest strengths, is also kind of a limitation for users with Android devices or Windows laptops.

For a novice, it was difficult to understand how CRM software works. Though the tutorial covers the basic of CRM, many of the steps are based on a previous version of the software, so it was confusing. However, the basics are very logical and easy to follow. I still need to more fully understand the less commonly used features, but I feel comfortable enough with the software to use it on a regular basis for all my CRM needs.

Pros

Consistent interface across the multiple features.

Cons

Using some of the features are restrictive and don't work for me. For example, the choices within the category, type, state, etc. don't provide choices that make sense in the context in which I use them; if there is a way to change them and make them specific to my needs, it was not made clear from the documentation.

This software was super easy to use. And was great for my team when we were all on mac. Great for a small business.

Cons

It didn't have enough functionality on the Project Management side for my team. We had too many team members and too many sub tasks.

Pros

All my devices version, synchronize by Daylite Cloud. Doing things one time and be able to get offline if there is no internet connection temporarly.

Cons

Task are not enough dynamics but when you use them as they can give you, it is acceptable and efficient.

Easy of use of the application and that it has a mobile application that you can use on the go. I think those are the two best pros of the software.

Pricing is a bit steep, but I find it worth it for those who are looking to use a CRM software on their mac and want to keep it on their computer.

Pros

Task lists and pipeline. Every new project is assigned a pipeline that then has automatic tasks for each team member to perform.

Cons

Occasionally, the DMI is not keeping up with the Apple OS X releases. Support has gotten better but in past I would email and get a response days later, which was unacceptable.

Pros

This is actually a very cool app to use, has to be the best one I've tried and it has a lot of great features and nice interface. It's a bit on the heavy side actually for a freelancer but still very useful, and there's Apple Mail integration. There's also Integrations and add-ons available, such as Mailchimp and Calendar which is super useful, and there's a free trial where you don't have to give them your credit card.

Cons

A little laggy, seems to draw on a lot of resources some days (depends on what other apps I have open). Also I do think it's a bit pricey.

Pros

Very good integration, improves workflows significantly, fun to use. Good reporting, quick enough, good mobileApp integration.

Cons

The decision of Marketcircle to terminate the "self serve" version (i.e. to use your own server) and to develop only a Marketcircle cloud version is huge downside. I will quit using DL and change to another CRM - very sad!

Pros

The ability to bring a number of functions under the one roof, and link them together. Very good for overview of interaction with clients.

Cons

I think reporting could be more robust with the ability to more easily customise reports (if you don't have specific coding knowledge).

\- When I used Daylite our entire system was on Apple products and Daylite seamlessly integrates with them all. - The feature set is second to none. all projects, time and planning resources are centralised

Cons

\- it is expensive, but you do get what you pay for. - the exclusivity to apple could be an issue for some companies

keeps up with calls and emails, Easy to use and integrates with apple natively. easy to use and very flexible

Cons

Price for cloud base is high for small shops like mine, instead of buying more licenses for all of our users we share one user and use categories to keep track. If price was lower I would buy more user licenses and fully utilities the capabilities

The integration of many features: contacts, calendar, projects, tasks, opportunities, email, notes, external files. Reliability, especially the Cloud version. Excellent customer support

Cons

Cost-it is expensive for a solopreneur. Not available on Android. It can be overwhelming to learn all of the new features.

Customer tracking

Pros

It is generally intuitive and there are videos to help me understand how things work. It is great for tracking customers and conversations.

Cons

The cloud data storage was difficult to set up. But, that was four years ago when there was a different cloud hosting company. Its better since Daylite took that on themselves.

Pros

The many links and relationships are instrumental and easy to use and remember to use, and I absolutely love the mail integrator.

Cons

Mobile app has some syncing hiccups or takes a little long. Also, don't love paying for subscriptions now. While there is an option for server, clearly being phased out and forced to go cloud.

Interface and customizarion - i can see my most important items right away and can put other things on tabs. Sync with cloud is seamless and ability to use on several devices is a plus

Cons

More sophisticated features very hard to learn — such as projects, pipelines, opportunities. Manual is quite good but complex in these areas.

Anymore, there are simply better CRM programs for a Mac. A few years ago, Daylite was the best of the worst. The software and app were full of bugs and complicated tech solutions to ensure data synced. I had this weird bug where my tasks would not delete and Daylite support knew the problem existed for customers but forced people to upgrade to a newer version instead of fixing the bug. It's an overall wonky system for an expensive price, and that was fine 5 years ago but better software and apps now fill the market for CRMs.

Hi Jenson We are sorry to hear that your experience with Daylite was not a positive one. We work hard to make sure our customers love Daylite and we take your comments seriously. The reason your issue wasn't fixed in 4 was that Apple dropped support on the SDK Daylite 4 was programmed in. To submit updates to the app store developers had to use the new SDK which meant a complete rewrite. Daylite 4's development cycle had ended so we can not invest in rewriting it. This allowed us to focus on the newest technologies available and continue to move Daylite in the future. While we still believe this was the right decision we are sorry that you were affected by it. Syncing was a common complaint of earlier versions and why we developed Daylite Cloud. Each server environment was different, and made syncing a challenge. With Daylite Cloud that is a thing of the past as we manage all that for you. If you give Daylite Cloud a shot we are confident you'll be very happy with the updates!
