### "Daylite 6 is Fantastic"

Pros

Daylite is extremely fast and responsive, transitioning from a web based CRM to a native CRM on OSX has been a great experience for us.

Cons

The only problem I've had with Daylite in the past is licenses would stop working and that would create problems with other users trying to connect to the database. The problem no longer exists with Daylite 6. The biggest problem I see with daylite is with plugins, you left with having to deal with companies like IOSExpert who make plugins for daylite. This company is based in Germany and rarely responds to support inquiries even being a paid subscriber of the product and a paid support user. Daylite needs to have a list of supported plugins that either they design or sign off with as a complete compatible plugin but as is we're left with dealing with awful support and mediocre plugins from developers like iOSXpert.

I like the easy interaction between all the features of Daylite, and the sync with my mobile devices, as well as the complete database management

Cons

I would find more convenient to have the possibility of creating subcategories for the contacts and companies, as well as two or more categories for them.

Pros

I love the simple integration with all things Mac.. My world as I know it can function as is, but Daylight beings everything tougher on one simple platform that makes tracking my deals simple and easy by consolidating all comms, updates, and tasks in toe one place. Really love what i'm seeing so far.

Cons

Have bene unable to get full integration (both ways) with my Mac Calendar. Still working on finding a solution here. Am also having trouble getting calendar sync working in the Mobile App.

Cons

lack of reporting tools and absence of instructions on how to maximize the reporting features, especially merging and importing information from custom forms

Pros

It is very easy to keep email threads on one place, and accessible across devices. I can quickly take a look at what I need to do each day, review the client file, and make the appropriate follow-up. And because fewer potential clients fell through the cracks, I saw an increase in 64% of gross revenue the first year using it.

Great experience overall with this program. This is great for management of anything, weather it is for a business, or even for personal use. Either way, you will have an easier time keeping track of the tasks that need to be done in a certain timeframe.

Pros

Easy to use. This program offers many different features. It is affordable, allows you to keep track of tasks, management list, includes a calendar and reminds you whenever you need. Even better that it keeps everything for you to keep going and be organized. Everything is all in one place!

Cons

One thing that could be improved with Daylite is that it needs to be simplified. In other words, it needs to be easier to get used to. Daylite should have an introduction or some sorts to get users to get used to it much easier and quicker.

Pros

Great CRM with Opportunity and project tracking. Email integration to easily attach emails to Persons, Companies, Opportunities and/or Projects. All data is cross-linked based on relationship to other pieces of data in the system. Example - You can look up a company and see all the persons, opportunities and projects related to that company on one screen and jump to any of those persons, opportunities and projects by clicking on the link.

Cons

Only works on Apple OS X and IOS devices, No support for any other OS. No Project Management features, only tracking No Resource Management features.

I've been a DL customer for 7 years. It's a complete package with mobile apps and cloud based. Very expandable and customizable if necessary.

Pros

The cloud based with mobile apps work very smoothly

Cons

Does not have and integrated mass email component. I had to get an add on app.

Pros

FINALLY a Mac-centric product that I can have across all of my devices. I'm a designer and photographer, so my gear needs change from 27 inch iMac to my iPhone on shoot-day and so on. The fact that I can have Daylite at my fingertips and that it's optimized for Mac is a dream.

Cons

I can't think of a major flaw that I've found yet. I do wish the desktop interface felt a little less like Finder and more of a stylized, individual app.

Pros

I like being able to link emails to the people or companies in our customer base. It makes it easy to keep track of conversations and the sequence of events etc.

Cons

I wish there were more report printing options. Setting up a group is a bit confusing and i ended up going with a different set up. The Forms could be more useful if there were more options offered.

Pros

I really like that I can link emails and todos to contacts. And when I click on a contact, I can see everything in the past (emails & todos) and everything in the future (appointments & todos). I have only scratched the surface with this software. I look forward to seeing everything it can do.

Cons

I would like it better if, on my iPhone, I could attach emails to people. Other than that, it is great.

Pros

Once you think about it in the right way - and truly put it at the centre of your business - it is phenomally powerful. I now have one place I refer to to get the information I need for each project and client.

Cons

A bit tight on the online storage allowance. I would like to see a more generous allowance as I tend to get a lot of attachments that I quickly file away with the Apple Mail addon.

When your busy you need software (technology) to keep you on track and not do things twice. I allocate each new client to a project and use multiple tasks and activity sets to remind me whats next.

Pros

Free form or structured or both - a simple and elegant way to integrate emails and other communication.

Cons

Right now the iPhone app is not as fully functional - but I know there are changes coming. Looking forward to being able to tag emails to projects while on the road.

Pros

Highly polished interface, good tech support, non-subscription model available, ease of organizing emails with other docs

Cons

I wish Billings and Daylite were one single program so that I could do billing within Daylite and not have to switch back and forth.

Pros

Super impressed with Daylite for Mac. Has everything my business required to manage my projects, prospects and client contact and integrated with much of the software ems I was already using.

Cons

All good if you a completely Mac-centric, but doesn't integrate with Gmail or Windows, so make sure you are only using Macs in your organisation for this one to be of benefit.

I am in sales. The program allows me to keep everything I need in one place. I have all the basics working. Still exploring and trying new features. Have it linked to my iPhone and iPad.

Cons

I would like to be able to pull name address information out of the body copy of an email and automatically make a new contact in Daylite.

The ability to work offline and seamless between Mac and an iOS device. The graphic interface is intuitive and enjoyable to work in. Great feature set for both simple users, as well as, advanced users.

Cons

There should be more administrative tools to reduce database size and clear historical data. For subscription clients, we should have a phone number for support.

A great CRM.

Pros

How easily I can create, link, & follow-up on tasks. There is no concern wondering what tasks I have, the priority, or where I left off, all because the CRM keeps me up to date on my tasks.

Cons

I liked least syncing multiple devices in multiple changing locations with self-serve, but Daylite Cloud solved that issue.

If your organization uses primarily Mac / Apple products, this program makes for great integration, connectivity and ease of use.

Cons

Well to get full and proper benefit from this program it is best if your whole organization, or at least a significant part of it must be using Apple hardware

It lets me have a tool that holds long term information on a series of different projects. I work across a wide variety of industries and it is open and flexible enough to allow a good level of adaptation. No product is perfect but this one suits my needs more fully than other online offerings.

Pros

The integration of communication traffic with the contacts lets me refer to back history without having to have a bottomless email box. It is enhanced by being synchronised across my iOS devices as well.

Cons

The lack of a tree hierarchy for companies. Instead the same company has to be entered repeatedly for every office involved.

Unified my goals and task management to move my business forward.

Pros

The integration to OS /iOS is nearly flawless and well maintained with virtually no downtime. Updates always stay ahead of the curve unlike other CRM solutions. Functionally you could not ask for more: Contact, Calendar, Task, Objectives along with contact history all in one place.

Cons

Index within contacts on iOS (IPhone especially) would be a big plus. Once you have a lot of contacts it's difficult to scroll.
