"Easy to use for beginners"

Overall: FoodBank Manager is simple to use. We recommend it to others in our industry as an easy to use program. Sitting down and mapping out what data you want to capture at the beginning is imperative, and having a plan for the future and building that in at the beginning is important. Customer service is generally very responsive and helps us through any issues that may come up, but new solutions or rollouts of ideas from users does not seem to be in their business plan.

Pros: FoodBank Manager let us customize many things. We are able to add to existing tables as needed and you can customize reports pretty easily to pull out information.

Cons: When adding new fields, you can't choose where they will go, so future data input isn't always as easy as you would hope. Reporting exists, but you must be really good with excel to manipulate it, and FBM doesn't allow you to use a 3rd party like Crystal Reports to make reporting easier.

Reasons for Switching to FoodBank Manager: Our original product was prioprietary and required someone with a coding background. FBM does not require anyone to be an expert at coding; simply good at using an easy to use interface.

"Covers the basics"

Overall: In general, its easy to use but could use some better tracking features.

Pros: In general, it works well to track straight forward data for any food pantry.

Cons: It is too easy to bypass fields or duplicate people on a record, so that the household is not always accurate.

"Food Bank Management is Superb and Excellent"

Pros: FBM as a very good and easy to used Food Inventory designed for business, with good customer management support, it is an all-rounder software to perform various tasks related to Food Distribution. Also, i like this application as it compatible with Windows and web-app basis. in fact they are ready to recommend Software.

Cons: The only aspect FBM is lacking is customer support, they should improve with there contacting channel this should be more than email alone.
