### "Excellent working tool!"

October 10, 2021

5.0

For me it is an excellent working tool and super practical for handling information and sharing.

Pros

Great tool for those who work from home office and need to share the information with the team. Updates are constant and momentary, easy to use and share.

Cons

In all the time I have been using it, I have not found any problems or functionality that would make me disapprove of any feature.

### "SharePoint is a Great Solution "

July 24, 2021

5.0

Overall this is a great investment for teams who need access to multiple communication streams. The system is flexible, but users do need training to understand how to maximize the robust features of SharePoint.

Pros

SharePoint is a great solution to mange documents, and files access multiple offices and users. The system makes it easy to share without sending email attachments back and forth and allows multiple users to edit.

Cons

Some users had a difficult time grasping the concept of SharePoint and differentiating it from OneDrive and Delve respectively.

### "Sharepoint is an excellent tool for collaboration in large organizations"

September 20, 2020

5.0

Overall, I enjoyed using Sharepoint at a previous employer. Unfortunately, I was not able to fully utilize the workflow and task sharing and tracking tools to their full potential due to the companies executive staff being resistant to implementing new procedures to encourage accountability and efficiency.

Pros

It is my experience that in a large organization that is conducting a multitude of projects, needs to disseminate information to a large number of employees on regular basis, or track tasks and progress on multiple software platforms within the Microsoft product offerings, Sharepoint is an excellent software resource for both user and administrator.

Cons

For smaller organizations, Sharepoint offers almost too much power and can be overwhelming and add a layer of difficulty to simpler processes and procedures. Its interface and tools are geared toward a higher level user and requires a more advanced knowledge of workflow and task management processes. Effective use of this software cannot be obtained without some form of formal training on its use. I do not believe it is a software than one can simply install and use out of the box. A detailed plan for implementation and use is definitely required and I would not recommend it for a novice administrator.

### "A simple way to share information within the work team"

September 25, 2022

4.0

Due to its cloud-based nature, Microsoft SharePoint facilitates remote teamwork by allowing users to access and update shared documents from any location. This works well for larger groups of people who are collaborating on a project.

Pros

Using Microsoft SharePoint, groups of people can coordinate their efforts from different locations. With Microsoft Teams integration, users can effortlessly make changes to documents without switching applications.

Cons

The need that all document editors have a Microsoft account is Microsoft SharePoint's main drawback. Some solutions, like G-Suite, even let visitors make changes.

### "Avaliação do SharePoint"

March 31, 2023

5.0

### "SharePoint: everything you need in one place"

June 22, 2022

5.0

In general, I do like to use shrepoint. its interface is clean and simple. It's easy to manage permissionan depends on the document.

Pros

SharePoint is a very and powerful tool for those who wanted to organize files in diferents levels of permissions and Who want to customize the interface.

Cons

Sometimes the option of check in and check out doesn't work well. Many times I couldn't edit a document because it was already "opened" by me. This occurs when internet disconnects and returns.

### "Sharepoint is the solid C student for collaboration"

March 1, 2022

3.0

This is something that I use but this is not anything that I would recommend. This does the absolute bare minimum for file sharing and there are other tools and platforms out there that are much better for large organizations. Small businesses can get the best bang for their buck on this but any place with 1000+ people should not rely on Sharepoint.

Pros

The software integrates with your user info so your name and contact info is easily available for all to see when you post something or search something.

Cons

This is visually unappealing and looks like something a 201 student put together.

### "Reviewing SharePoint - Mature but can be Modular"

December 18, 2021

4.0

Overall, its simple to use and easier to connect and share across. It becomes a bit hard when you try complex things.

Pros

First, it can be accessed from different devices and from anywhere. Because its a tool offered by Microsoft, it works really well with Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, making the flow of work and transition easy. Sharing is another aspect which is pretty easy.

Cons

Its really not pleasing to the eye and doesn't work seamlessly with platforms outside of Microsoft.

Reason for choosing Microsoft SharePoint

Because we chose Microsoft as a whole. We actually weren't in favor of SharePoint when making the decision on this bit but then Microsoft overall was offering a good deal and many systems that connect seamlessly with each other so we went with that. For example, we were really happy with Teams and other products so we compromised on this bit. As a standalone, we might have gone with something else.

### "Not a fan"

I used this software daily in a professional setting until my company switched to Confulence. Our intranet is still running on sharepoint.

Pros

It served its purpose when it needed to but it was a pain and it's time is now done

Cons

Klunky UI and over complicated experience when compared to superior software like Confulence

### "OneDrive for the Web"

May 19, 2022

4.0

So far it has been very useful, there is some confusing between users on how it differs from OneDrive (even gets called OneDrive from time to time), but our department understands its purpose and it is useful in its own way. All in all, use with it is great for documents that need to be accessible to a wide swath of users (like lifeguards in the aquatics department or a team collaborating on a business project).

Pros

Though it accomplishes similar tasks to OneDrive (cloud-based document storage), the big help for me from SharePoint is page permissions/control and how we can delegate this to our users safely. This also means have a sort of "storefront" for documents that just need to be dropped somewhere for people to access, a slightly different approach than OneDrive takes. It's also nice that it circumvents the issue we have with OneDrive, which is the documents disappearing when the user account does. Something most employees don't plan for.

Cons

My biggest complaint is the UI for managing page permissions, as it can be confusing/intimidating for our end users with page management rights. Something a little more friendly and less Active Directory would be nice, as not all of them are as well-versed in technology or branching permissions as the IT department is.

### "An absolutely essential tool for today’s collaborative world"

January 28, 2022

5.0

We use Microsoft sharepoint to create a secure website on which we share data with collaborators and work collaboratively to analyze data and write research manuscripts. I can’t remember what research was like before we started using sharepoint. It was a plethora of e-mails which was very cumbersome.

Pros

Sharepoint is absolutely easy to use. The layout our group has on our page is amazing and customizable to meet any group’s needs. Sharepoint provides a secure environment in which collaboration is a breeze. We share raw data, analyzed data, presentations, and drafts of our research manuscripts with collaborators. We cannot imagine doing research without sharepoint.

Cons

I don’t have any major dislikes for sharepoint. The one area that needs slight improvement is the integration with statistical software outside 365 (excel). It is now doable, but its not exactly straightforward to integrate R-studio or Matlab.

December 2, 2022

Exchange.

Cons

Die Echtzeit-Zusammenarbeit funktioniert machmal nicht wie gewünscht.

### "Great Platform for Creating and Managing Documents"

July 24, 2022

5.0

Overall, I've been really happy with the product. It's a great platform for managing documents, and it's very easy to use. It has been an invaluable tool for me to use in my day-to-day job. There have been a few bugs here and there, but I can say that I haven't seen any showstoppers. I definitely think this is a great product for small and large companies alike.

Pros

I've used SharePoint for a few years now, and I have begun to really love it. The ability to share with many different users is great. We can also assign users at differing access levels (read, edit, etc). This is a huge time saver and helps the team work more efficiently together. Also, by using SharePoint to centralize the storage of files and data, companies can reduce the overall amount of storage they require. Sharepoint's security measures have been essential in maintaining the integrity of our files, and I never have to worry about what I'm writing getting into the wrong hands.

Cons

My only complaint about the program is that it can be difficult to find what you are looking for. The interface is not always easy to use and I have found that it can sometimes be difficult to find the file I want without a lot of trial-and-error searching.

### "The best tool to save, manage and share data with all team members"

October 29, 2021

5.0

Because we stored all of our files in Microsoft SharePoint during the Corona pandemic and subsequent shutdowns, it allowed us to continue doing business as usual.

Pros

In terms of document management, Microsoft SharePoint stands out as the best option available. When using Microsoft SharePoint, everyone on your team can continue working from any location, and you'll be able to access and save all of the documents and files that you and your colleagues have worked on and saved. If you have Internet access, you can do this from any computer. As a result, you save time and effort because of how well the application organizes all of the data, and you also protect the data with the alert feature, which asks for permission before permitting a member to make changes to one of the files you've added. You can also share documents and data without allowing them to be modified thanks to the sharing feature.

Cons

A simple application, also available for mobile phones, performs its main functions by managing and saving data to the fullest extent possible. There are no annoying or unwanted things.

### "Happy sharing one stop solution"

March 3, 2022

5.0

In my organisation, we use this platform not just for documents and files, but also for workflows in IT during system builds, some HR Processes and best of all as a mini intranet solution and this feature called Sharepoint knowledge base! The problem we had was that colleagues would be wasting time researching and trying to find solutions to problems that already had solutions. Like trying to figure out how to accomplish a key task or specific process within an organisation. Our knowledge base is now this big database of information and answers to commonly encountered issues, its like our own little google and I love it!

Pros

I like the document sharing feature when it comes to business information, its great for inter-departmental collaboration on major projects and just plain information sharing. I like the file management and the desktop integration of Sharepoint with our computers, its organised and feels like a map on my computer, very easy to navigate and search. I like the security features which protect our documents from unauthorised access.

Cons

Sharepoint is too big, its definitely not a simple system to use, it is complex mainly because of the extensive range of features that it offers and maintaining it is not easy, mainly because it requires a lot of customisation which leads to more administration and highly skilled technical people looking after the system.

### "Microsoft SharePoint Review"

February 6, 2022

5.0

Honestly speaking, I have had a great time using Microsoft SharePoint.I have particularly enjoyed its ability to enable simultaneous tasks and real time updates. While using it, I am assured of sharing files across Qatar without reservations.

Pros

What I like most about Microsoft SharePoint is its usability. It is user friendly and also fun to use.It has wonderful features to enable concurrent access to work flow with other collaborators. It also makes it possible for real time updates of the content whenever necessary.

Cons

Setting it up and getting it ready for use requires time and patience. This perhaps is its greatest undoing for me.However, once set properly and proper training acquired, you will enjoy it to the max.

### "SharePoint is great"

December 20, 2023

5.0

Overall, SharePoint has been great and has been an incredible resource for our company to use for document sharing and collaboration, as well as reference and storage for everything important.

Pros

Being able to stay collaborative day-to-day on the same documents my team needs to be able to view and edit is a lifesaver and makes life so much easier. The amount of time saved being able to work on documents in real time rather than sending back and forth is unmatched.

Cons

I've noticed the SharePoint version of Microsoft Office programs are good, but sometimes lack some features you are able to use in the standard desktop app.

### "Accelerate and smooth out business process"

February 4, 2022

5.0

The best of all the SharePoint benefits is its adaptability. The cooperative stage fills in as an intranet, which is essentially an organization's interior site for data sharing, task booking, contacts, and considerably more. Overseers can allot different consent levels relying upon the clients status. Past that, the product has capacities for record sharing, document the executives, long range interpersonal communication, business data, and basically all the other things engaged with the everyday tasks of your business.

Pros

A cooperation stage like Microsoft SharePoint makes it conceivable to gather and put together information in one spot. Data from providers, correspondence with clients, or connections with accomplices and others are gathered in SharePoint's structure driven arrangements. Your workers can make business insight entrances and show this information on dashboards, web parts, or scorecards. It will assist them with settling on better choices, track and follow purchaser inclinations or anticipate variances popular and supply. The Microsoft SharePoint of today is nothing similar to its trailblazer in 2001. It's safer, instinctive, adaptable, cooperative, and adjustable. The 2013 SharePoint adaptation offers more open doors for smoothing out business exercises. It builds efficiency and prompts diminished expenses in everyday business tasks

Cons

It's a given that any device planned with a helpless client experience will have a low client reception rate. For instance, when the SharePoint search highlight takes more time to observe the right records than a standard hunt through a document framework, you can't fault somebody for staying away from it. Powerful business devices should make it simpler for workers to go about their responsibilities and not make it unwieldy. SharePoint expects preparing to figure out how to utilize it successfully. However, the more exertion expected to comprehend an apparatus, the more uncertain representatives will utilize it. Furthermore on the off chance that your workers aren't utilizing it, then, at that point, why bother - correct?

### "Best Software for Document Transfers and Legitimate Coordination"

September 15, 2022

5.0

Pros

The Microsoft Office platform used to maintain its dominance in the productivity market with little effort, but recently it has become more difficult. The business has created a number of back-office improvements for Office and made them accessible in the cloud in an effort to further differentiate it. The most effective of them is Microsoft SharePoint Online, which combines document management, customizable workflow, and team collaboration. When used in conjunction with Microsoft Office and Office 365, SharePoint Online may be swiftly implemented in many enterprises to boost overall productivity. Workflow creation has been enabled by Microsoft SharePoint for some time, and SharePoint Online is no different. Microsoft SharePoint Online closely integrates with Microsoft Flow, a tool for constructing workflows between dissimilar platforms, whereas the majority of document management systems with a workflow module enable basic document management functions, such as review routing or signature requests.

Cons

I still find it a little difficult to collaborate with outside parties; we have experienced some issues with their access, and we must be conscious of their permissions. I'd say it takes time to develop training to have everyone using this software to its maximum potential as well as to get all users up to speed with using it. Naturally, this relates to user adoption. Within my company, it took some time for all users to feel at ease using Sharepoint and for them to become accustomed to utilizing this product.

### "A reasonable cloud-based replacement for a business server, but with several inherent problems"

August 2, 2021

3.0

We moved to Sharepoint around the start of 2021, in order to improve on our previous remote server access. There have been plenty of teething troubles, and others that it appears are here to stay. There are some decent group features, e.g. the news items.

Pros

There are some pros to being able to easily see who is working on which files. Our old remote server used to throw each user off every 60 minutes, so we don't miss that.

Cons

It can be really difficult to get external users onto the system. The web versions of Word etc can be slow and glitchy.
