### "Share Point is great for organizing"

April 14, 2026

5.0

I use Share Point everyday setting up the new projects that we are working on and storing our documents.

Pros

The ease of use and to have all our information in one place. Also, that we can store all the project files in one place.

Cons

The cons are that the program isn't fully integrated with other platforms or that we can have DocuSign integrated.

March 29, 2026

5.0

I have been using Microsoft SharePoint since I began working here. It is essential to our workflow, and it has not let me down.

Pros

My business used Microsoft SharePoint for nearly everything. It is easy to use, manage, and find necessary links. It is great to have everyone have access to the same home page as well. The collaboration and document management that this product offers is unmatched.

Cons

I haven't come across anything bad about Microsoft SharePoint. Any issues that I did have were promptly addressed by the support team.

### "A great intranet for your business with customizable branding and look that matches your brand"

June 9, 2025

4.0

Great for building an Intranet- like experience for your business. Custom branding, but SPO list restrictions limit scalability, best suited for small teamers/organizations to get their feet wet in the o365 suite of products

Pros

SharePoint Online excels in document storage and customizable branding, enhancing collaboration for smaller businesses with seamless Microsoft 365 integration with other office applications

Cons

Limitations with SPO lists hinder complex data management; performance lags with large datasets and workarounds confuse less tech-savvy users. For Example it's not an ideal datasource for larger applications to use sharepoint online lists as datasources

### "sharepoint review"

June 24, 2025

5.0

Sharepoint is easy to use, and it is a fundamental tool that is facilitating share, store, and saving information within companies.

Pros

share point is one of the expected things to have nowadays, and now it is considered to be the normal way of using or sharing data in organizations. so it is very usefull and it is not an easy tool to live without.

Cons

The problem that microsoft needs to address is that many companies have also many information management rules and in my company there are files that cannot be, or should not be uploaded into share points. Also sharepoint is not the official and allowed methos to share some secret information within my company, so they should increase safety or tell companies how safe sharepoint is, to allow more private information to be shared by sharepoint.

### "Efficient and Reliable for Team Use"

May 10, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Microsoft SharePoint has been good. It’s a dependable platform for managing documents and collaborating with teams. After getting familiar with it, it really improves workflow and efficiency.

Pros

It makes document sharing and team collaboration very convenient. Everything stays organized in one place, and integration with tools like Teams and Outlook makes daily work much smoother. The version history feature is also very useful.

Cons

It tends to lag sometimes when handling large files or heavy data. Also the interface to confusing for new users.

### "I love SharePoint!"

May 9, 2025

5.0

Excellent, love SharePoint! I love building intranets and seeing the users adapt and learn so quickly.

Pros

As a SharePoint developer I have been using SharePoint since SharePoint 2010 came out. I have used most versions, however nowadays most of my work is in SharePoint Online. I love SharePoint, always have, its great for collaborating with peers and document management.

Cons

The licensing costs of SharePoint can be expensive, especially for small businesses.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Microsoft SharePoint

SharePoint is so much easier to use than Sitecore. Sitecore much more difficult to implement and maintain.

### "Great Collaboration Tool for Organizations"

May 16, 2025

5.0

We built SharePoint as an intranet for our company, primarily for the use of sharing documents. It morphed into a full-blown website, with different sections for different teams, all protected by specific permissions. It has really elevated collaboration amongst our employee base, and wasn't difficult for our team to learn to use.

Pros

SharePoint is incredibly customizable, low-code, and works with many products inside or outside of Microsoft. From document libraries to shared calendars to lists, our team finds great use out of SharePoint.

Cons

Being a low-code/no-code tool, I understand limitations on being able to customize different pages, however I wish there were more styles of pages and sections.

### "SharePoint"

May 21, 2025

5.0

SharePoint has come a long ways over the past 15 years and has generally been a positive step in the right direction.

Pros

SharePoint makes it easy for us to collaborate as a team, manage all of our company data and share things as needed. It allows us to have a familiar layout while being fully cloud-based, making it easier for end-users to transition to.

Cons

Sometimes things fall out of sync without the end user knowing it's not working and creating shortcuts into OneDrive should be stopped so end users don't cause themselves larger issues.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Microsoft SharePoint

Microsoft licensing included it in Office 365 product line-up

### "IT-Systemadministrator"

March 17, 2026

4.0

SharePoint is a powerful and reliable platform. It becomes a very useful tool for collaboration and document management in the Microsoft ecosystem.

Pros

I really like the central place for collaboration. Files are easy to share, version history works well and the integration with Teams, Outlook, OneDrive makes work much easier. It’s especially useful for working together on documents.

Cons

SharePoint can feel overcomplicated at times. Permissions, site structure and navigation aren’t always intuitive especially for new users.

### "Great Product, Difficult Pricing."

March 23, 2026

3.0

Pros

The Integration into the OneDrive App aswell as the customization Options when creating Sites. The Amount of Linking, Settings and Guest Settings you can turn are amazing. I've never had a more easier tool to manage than sharepoint.

Cons

Unfortunately, the Pricing of Sharepoint is not ideal for everyone. Most of the Storage Options come with O365 Business Standard or above Licenses, which are taking costs at an exponentionally growing userbase unreal. Alot of Pricing Options are not transparent which is a bummer sometimes.

### "SharePoint is Our Main Collaborative Platform"

March 22, 2026

5.0

We use SharePoint as the default platform for content sharing and department websites. It is a great way to share content and designate permission-based viewing.

Pros

SharePoint is a great platform for publicly sharing sites and information. I love the massive data limits where you can basically store content into perpetuity.

Cons

It does have some limitations with functionality, but overall is very easy to use to I can deal with minor drawback.

### "Sharepoint is an essential software for business"

March 18, 2026

5.0

10/10 this system has been the backbone of our company and without it i'm not sure where we'd be. Super easy to use and overall an amazing product

Pros

Sharepoint has been a super easy to use platform! Easy to keep track of documents as well as having multiple employees on the server working at the same time. Value is great and the customer support is amazing as well. Because it's integrated with microsoft office it's super easy to coordinate the team's calendar and schedule.

Cons

There are at times a few bugs with loading and sometimes the search function is a bit inaccurate but overall, nothing catastrophic

### "Team Collaboration "

September 27, 2025

4.0

We used it for inventory management. As a Team we work from it. We use it to add our stocks of equipment and keep a record of which device goes to which user. It is fairly simple to use

Pros

I guess it helps us all work from one sheet which allow us to export data via Power BI. Allows us as a team to work together

Cons

Sometimes when theres too many people that have access sometimes there can be errors made. Although it allows you to see who made changes, its not always something we check. Having to help users on it was always difficult as we always encountered issues on permissions/access

### "SharePoint: Great for Business Collaboration!"

April 30, 2026

5.0

Pros

I like that SharePoint has allowed us to effectively collaborate as a team across the organization by keeping documents organized and easy accessible.

Cons

It was a struggle at first to learn how the application works because I felt like I was going in circles trying to find certain documents.

### "Great tool for all business sizes!"

June 1, 2025

4.0

I began using SharePoint 2,0 on Microsoft Small Business Server 2003, became certified for SP 2007 then got into SharePoint Development. Was part of BPOS beta and O365 Beta. I think it is a great tool for any size business and now these days is easy enough to use with low code and Copilot functions.

Pros

SharePoint is adaptable and flexible for all sizes of companies. If you are a small company and want a simple Intranet for departments, files sharing and collaboration sites it is perfect while at the same time it is flexible and programmable for enterprise size businesses.

Cons

Microsoft changes things often and their communication of changes, new features etc. does not exist. You need to take it upon yourself to check the forums and boards for new features or features that they discontinue.

### "Share Your Documents with Microsoft SharePoint"

May 21, 2026

5.0

Describing Microsoft SharePoint as a hub of information to share and review certain documents within your organization seems like the most accurate description for my team, however the uses truly are so much more than that!

Pros

With Microsoft SharePoint managing, creating, and sharing files within our team has been so much more accessible.

Cons

Initially using this program, can be a bit of a learning curve due to the variety of ways one can use it. But once the users realize that it can function similarly to an information hub it becomes more comfortable to use.

### "Must have for file sharing"

March 11, 2026

3.0

I have used Sharepoint at every organization I have been in; yet it always does what it's intended to do. Slight issues with integrations and fluidity.

Pros

I like to be able to access shared files all in one place and the ease to move them around and update as needed.

Cons

Sometimes the updates to files aren't immediate or they get stuck. My main issue is when files get moved or deleted on file finder but then they don't reflect on the web or vice versa.

January 16, 2026

Pros

We love using SharePoint to collaborate with different directors and it makes it easy to share documents without having to email or track them down!

Cons

I would say that the only thing is that sometimes when opening Microsoft apps through SharePoint, such as Powerpoint and Word, they don't always transfer over nicely, so be sure to download your work!

### "Security in Sharing "

November 13, 2025

5.0

Pros

SharePoint is a great way to seamlessly and securely share data and/or processes between various business units.

Cons

The set up of SharePoint access points varies greatly depending on who sets it up. My company uses it for many clients and each one is set up differently - and knowing workflows for one, does not always translate to other workflows.
