### "Microsoft SharePoint: A Robust Collaboration Tool with Room for Improvement"

May 5, 2025

4.0

Overall, SharePoint is a powerful tool for collaboration and document management, offering seamless Microsoft 365 integration and robust customization, but its steep learning curve, clunky interface, and performance issues can make it frustrating at times

Pros

SharePoint excels as a centralized, customizable collaboration hub with seamless Microsoft 365 integration, robust document management, smart search, mobile accessibility, and top-notch security.

Cons

SharePoint's steep learning curve, clunky interface, overwhelming features, performance issues with large files, reliance on IT, high cost, and limited offline access can make it frustrating for some users.

### "Team Collaboration "

September 27, 2025

4.0

We used it for inventory management. As a Team we work from it. We use it to add our stocks of equipment and keep a record of which device goes to which user. It is fairly simple to use

Pros

I guess it helps us all work from one sheet which allow us to export data via Power BI. Allows us as a team to work together

Cons

Sometimes when theres too many people that have access sometimes there can be errors made. Although it allows you to see who made changes, its not always something we check. Having to help users on it was always difficult as we always encountered issues on permissions/access

### "The Perfect Place to Collab"

March 29, 2026

5.0

I have been using Microsoft SharePoint since I began working here. It is essential to our workflow, and it has not let me down.

Pros

My business used Microsoft SharePoint for nearly everything. It is easy to use, manage, and find necessary links. It is great to have everyone have access to the same home page as well. The collaboration and document management that this product offers is unmatched.

Cons

I haven't come across anything bad about Microsoft SharePoint. Any issues that I did have were promptly addressed by the support team.

Overall, good value for your money, good customer support and very easy to use. In the management we use it everyday

Pros

The company I work for uses sharepoint to upload all files and share information to be found by all the employees easily

Cons

I dont like that when I need to find some files sometimes it gets messed up and returns to begging of the search. Maybe there are some bugs in the system

### "Great tool for all business sizes!"

June 1, 2025

4.0

I began using SharePoint 2,0 on Microsoft Small Business Server 2003, became certified for SP 2007 then got into SharePoint Development. Was part of BPOS beta and O365 Beta. I think it is a great tool for any size business and now these days is easy enough to use with low code and Copilot functions.

Pros

SharePoint is adaptable and flexible for all sizes of companies. If you are a small company and want a simple Intranet for departments, files sharing and collaboration sites it is perfect while at the same time it is flexible and programmable for enterprise size businesses.

Cons

Microsoft changes things often and their communication of changes, new features etc. does not exist. You need to take it upon yourself to check the forums and boards for new features or features that they discontinue.

### "SharePoint Review "

December 4, 2025

5.0

Pros

Well using SharePoint it easy to collaborate with multiple people on the same document. As well as files and documents can be accessed anywhere. The search function as well makes it simple and efficient to find documents when I meetings or in a conversation.

Cons

When our company first transitioned to SharePoint the system felt confusing to use as a new user. Also with so many features it can be overwhelming when trying to complete a simple task

The company felt it would be easier for us to access documents on SharePoint when we work from home compared to OneDrive on our Hardware where we required a VPN at home.

### "Great document management tool"

July 1, 2025

4.0

It's pretty decent as a document management platform. Great for keeping things organised and maintained

Pros

Easy to use, simple and intuitive UI and feature rich. Useful for organising data and documents. Have pretty easy to customise workflows

Cons

Search is very hit or miss and sometimes can be very complex. Collaborative features are also not as extensive

### "Best file sharing platform there"

June 22, 2025

5.0

Great, very easy to use even for non technical people but can add on automations with power automate to make it even better.

Pros

It makes file sharing with others easy as it has a high degree of control as to who has access. Anyone can use it but you can also integrate it with Microsoft's tools to make it more powerful

Cons

There is a few small glitches notably i find the file links can be easily broken by renaming or moving them and it would be nice to have permanent links especially when document sharing is a key function

### "Sharepoint surprises"

March 28, 2025

5.0

over all creating our team in teams and integrating with Sharepoint has transformed our teams performance and made us stronger. We're just now starting to use it bu so far it has exceeded expectations

Pros

Another software with a learning curve. Once I mastered the curve, this has utility that is unparalleled. I love the integrated lists that have so many uses beyond a simple list. Having access to important documents after staff change over is critical too.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve to it, and the training materials provided by Microsoft were a little cerebral and difficult to understand. It would be nice if the design your team Sharepoint was provided. I have used excel and the Microsoft suite of products for years. This is the first time I have had occasion to use Sharepoint

SharePoint is a powerful and reliable platform. It becomes a very useful tool for collaboration and document management in the Microsoft ecosystem.

Pros

I really like the central place for collaboration. Files are easy to share, version history works well and the integration with Teams, Outlook, OneDrive makes work much easier. It’s especially useful for working together on documents.

Cons

SharePoint can feel overcomplicated at times. Permissions, site structure and navigation aren’t always intuitive especially for new users.

### "Great Product, Difficult Pricing."

March 23, 2026

3.0

Pros

The Integration into the OneDrive App aswell as the customization Options when creating Sites. The Amount of Linking, Settings and Guest Settings you can turn are amazing. I've never had a more easier tool to manage than sharepoint.

Cons

Unfortunately, the Pricing of Sharepoint is not ideal for everyone. Most of the Storage Options come with O365 Business Standard or above Licenses, which are taking costs at an exponentionally growing userbase unreal. Alot of Pricing Options are not transparent which is a bummer sometimes.

### "SharePoint is Our Main Collaborative Platform"

March 22, 2026

5.0

We use SharePoint as the default platform for content sharing and department websites. It is a great way to share content and designate permission-based viewing.

Pros

SharePoint is a great platform for publicly sharing sites and information. I love the massive data limits where you can basically store content into perpetuity.

Cons

It does have some limitations with functionality, but overall is very easy to use to I can deal with minor drawback.

### "Solid Choice for Small Setups"

June 17, 2025

3.0

Overall, it's been a mixed bag. SharePoint could be an excellent tool if you have a simple setup, but if there are lots of users involved, it would be wise to look elsewhere.

Pros

I like how Microsoft SharePoint integrates well with other Microsoft products, creating a seamless user experience.

Cons

I don't like how difficult the administration and user sharing settings are for those who have to manage SharePoint.

### "Low cost, easy to use and reliable"

October 19, 2025

4.0

I've had a brilliant experience with Microsoft SharePoint - really easy to use and implement, great way to manage files with team members and keep everything organised and the cost is low.

Pros

Microsoft SharePoint is great for document management when collaborating with teams - super easy to use and find your way around. Its also super affordable compared to other options with it being included in Microsoft 365.

Cons

I don't have many complaints about Microsoft SharePoint - its only drawback for me is limitations on the size of individual files, as well as overall memory available on the cheapest version without upgrading.

### "Must have for file sharing"

March 11, 2026

3.0

I have used Sharepoint at every organization I have been in; yet it always does what it's intended to do. Slight issues with integrations and fluidity.

Pros

I like to be able to access shared files all in one place and the ease to move them around and update as needed.

Cons

Sometimes the updates to files aren't immediate or they get stuck. My main issue is when files get moved or deleted on file finder but then they don't reflect on the web or vice versa.
