With this app the user can collaborate with other users when working on a project. It is great as it relates to task management, document management, and security information management. It allows the user to feel safe while using this app knowing their documents are secured. Microsoft SharePoint is also customizable which gives the user the ability to make necessary adjustments to fit their workflow or business type. Cons Microsoft SharePoint is not so much user friendly and easy to use. The software takes time to understand. It is highly technical and requires one with some sort of experience. As my employees are travelling, or at the office, they all know where to find the resources necessary to perform their jobs. Pros Sharepoint is a very simple Intranet system (at least that is how my company uses it) in which we can have IT, HR, Company documents, Sales or Service Tickets sections allowing my team and I to have one platform and keep all items organized. We also have a team calendar for travel that presents nicely on its own page, versus looking at calendars in Outlook. Pros I really love the ability to make a list of our partners and edit the fields in PowerApps. Cons Often times the order of content is juggled. If I want to setup a quick links on a page by adding document links from OneDrive, the list in OneDrive will not be how it is in Windows and then it will attach the links in juggled ways. There is also a nice feature with a customizable homepage where my team can keep a calendar of who is in/out on any given day, along with other shortcuts and important information. Cons Sometimes there is a disconnect between what sync's on someone's PC and what is then transferred to the cloud. This causes the user to have to manually upload the document to SharePoint. The documents are kept online in a secure and new fashion way, always available anytime and from anywhere. Pros We use SharePoint online 2016. It is one of most powerful product ever used. It offers so many functionalities that it needs years to be an expert. I mostly like how SharePoint evolved with the online version. It is much more easier to use and now even end users can manage their own pages. Cons It is still quite complex, it would interesting to have more online training offered by Microsoft with the last functionalities.
