We are using almost all of the available modules that the "GOLD" Package contains. In addition we utilize the Asset Status Board Module in order to track all of the problems that our work cells are experiencing. E-mail notifications are then sent out to the responsible individuals to alert them to the fact that they have an issue to resolve. Set-up of the system was fairly straight forward, In my previous job we used a CMMS System so I was quite familiar with the nuances of a CMMS. We did purchase the Assured Implementation Package as well as Training for our users as this was new to them. The Software Support and Training Group are very responsive in helping with items and training when necessary. All in all, this is a very robust system and the supporting personnel are very helpful when our issues or questions arise.

Pros - Customer service and tech support have been great to work with. - User friendly. Cons - We are unable to use the mobile app licenses provided so there are times when it is difficult to get on to the system due to licensing limitations.

A mobile version of MPulse is available in the Apple App Store, MPulse MobileWorks for iOS. There's also a web-based HTML mobile app that works in the Chrome browser on any mobile device. Both mobile versions provide functionality focused on the issuance, updating, and completion of work orders by maintenance technicians in the field. Mountain View Hospital hoped to use the desktop version of MPulse on their iPad tablets, though. That usage is currently unsupported and has limited functionality. MPulse plans to support this usage soon in a future release.

I have and will continue to recommend the MPulse software to anyone looking for a reliable, user friendly package!

Pros

Exceptional training by knowledgable staff. General and Technical Support teams are friendly. patient and willing to walk me through any questions no matter how long it takes. All areas of the program are interactive and work together allowing me to create, convert, plan, set up, report and more with ease.

Cons

The only con I can come up with is my own lack of time to implement and make use of more that is offered as it would be a tremendous help in running our department more efficiently. We have made this a goal this year.

Pros

We really like this program. It has many features that we take advantage of. It is our companies primary ticket management software and it is used to manage all of our inventory and maintenance tracking.

Cons

The only problem we encountered was a very unique billing issue specific to our company but the tech support was very helpful and assisted us in coming up with a creative solution.

Pros

MPulse is highly customizeble to even an aesthetic level where the interface can reflect your company. Much more practical though is that it is specially designed for fleet management, essential for distribution centers like the one I work for.

Cons

As with more technical CMMSs, this one does require a steeper learning curve. Everything can be set up for your needs, but needs to be done by a member of mPulse rather than within your own company.

I am the Facilities Manager for an upscale Athletic Club and conference center. We wanted a better way to assign and track our maintenance needs to better understand our costs, help us be more efficient, and provide better service to our members. We are using version 7.0; prior to Mpulse, we were using various outlook spreadsheet to track our work. The transition to the software was a snap with the help of the Data Link tool. All our staff learned MPulse quickly, and are currently primarily using the mobile version in the field. They've always replied quickly for any questions or issues we have had. MPulse has given us a better idea of where we are spending our time and has helped streamline our efficiency - allowing us to get more work done.

Pros

The vendor is very, very good at assuring we understand the system and its capabilities. They are tailored to our specific needs.

Cons

The product cost for the software and software maintenance agreement are tough to swallow, but we get so much information back out I couldn't be as effective without it. Another point that is worth mentioning is the lag time on our hosted site when doing record look-ups. We used to host the software on our LAN and I guess that I just got used to the speed of the local hosting functions.

MPULSE helps me on a daily bases to recieve work request from my clients in a timely manner. This in turn allows me to assign the task to the appropriate personnel and to provide the repair/service need for the request. Cons: Some fields don't generate from the work request to the work order conversion. Personnel converting has to remember the information to place it herself. Due to our buildings not generating in the conversion process this information also does not generate in our reports (this important because without a building/location, personnel does not know where to go service or repair).

Pros

The ease of tracking and tracing assets, managing every investment on a given asset, and the end report summary have brought improvement to our maintenance system and helped costing and budgeting in a more accurate manner.

Cons

The slow pace at which the desired page opens up when navigating through the software can be improved. Even though it has to do with network issues, making it faster and giving quick response would go a long way to making customers satisfied.

Pros

I have found the ability to import from Excel spreadsheets and map the data to any field to be a huge time saver.

Cons

The program can be a little bit slow, and Google Chrome is not supported as well as IE. There is no way to set preferences on work order forms for custom tabs. There is a lot of information I like to link to the assets that does not need to deploy with the work orders, and I have to remove the custom tabs each time I print work orders.

MPulse is the first preventative maintenance software that our organization has ever purchased, so we do not have anything to compare it to. However, what I do know is that the team at MPulse is awesome. Everyone is so helpful, and the support is second to none. We are just in the implementation process, and I recently completed the training in Eugene, OR. I would highly recommend attending the training, especially the final day where you get one on one set up assistance. Things are moving along well, and MPulse is there to help you every step of the way.

MPulse is very easy to use and makes delegating and tracking tasks in our large company, very easy and intuitive. All of our employees who use the program find it very helpful and quickly learned it's functions. The report function is also great for coming up with plans of action and areas of improvement within our business. The MPulse support team is very helpful. They are available via phone, email and are able to remotely access my account if I have any questions. There are also helpful online resources for training and troubleshooting.

MPulse is a great CMMS system with a ton of features. I have implemented the system at two different companies with very good results. There is a lot of data entry if you currently do not have assets, etc. in a e-format. Positive side is that within a few months you will see good data on how equipment is performing and associated costs. After a year the picture becomes pretty clear allowing for solid, data driven, decisions. Nice to roll out at an affordable cost with reduced features, easily add features as you become ready for more.

Pros

We like the flexibility we have with MPulse. The requester function is very useful. The MPulse team is always professional and willing to work with any issues we have.

Cons

I don't like when MPulse rolls out some new function, but offers no instruction on how to use it (Asset Status Board is an example). We have no clue how to use that, and I can find nothing in the help menu that explains how to utilize it.
