Cons There has been an error with the Elexio Checkscanner utility and print-driver for the Canon CR-50 check scanner that I brought up 16 months ago, and it still has not been fixed. The communication between the member information and the giving platform is TERRIBLE! I have had many duplicated members because all information didn't match what was already in the member's account. There is no easy way for members to see their total giving, and it's difficult for people to navigate unless you have training. Children's Check-in cannot reprint tags - we have to ask for people's identification if they lose a pickup tag. It's difficult and time-consuming to keep up with all the groups of children and when they have to move up a grade or class... NONE of this is automated or easy. If a member no longer attends, there is no option to make them inactive outside of deleting their account. There is better software such as Planning Center Online, that are much more efficient. Pros I liked all of the features it add in being a comprehensive database in the sense of being able to manage 2000+ contacts and employee access. Lots of companies aren't even able to utilize any form of software due to accessibility. Cons It is absolutely ridiculous that it's so difficult to implement with a Mac. I remember very vividly being confused about remote desktop and more, so I didn't even bother with it and accessed it through co-worker computers. There is no reason for this and needs to be addressed. The layout of the software is terrible, and everyone required multiple trainings on how to do the simplest tasks such as workflows, new entries, and more. Used to be able with old version to have reports that I needed and save them to use each month. Starting to move to this in the "newer" version, but still have a long way to go to have the old reporting ability. Still not able to get a report out for Credit Card Charges by Fund giving to. Should be there within the database. Reasons for choosing Elexio Community What we were using in the past and learning curve would not be as much. We are considered by some a small congregation so outdated seemed ok. The reason why I first decided to make the change to Elexio was to utilize children's check in feature. However, that is just a small feature compared to how it has helped me streamline the office here. Our giving has gone up since initiating this product. I feel more confident that there will be less or no glitches in reprots. The customer service is excellent and the training has been very helpful Pros It makes my job much easier. It has helped encourage giving by our members which is very important. I have a greater ease of accessing important information. It has been a time saver for me when I do our weekly giving reports. Cons it is pretty easy to work with but some areas can be a little tricky. The support team is amazing and makes even the tricky parts make sense and they get me going again. What I like least isn't so much about the software but more about the training video's. Some are very long. I would prefer 30 minute segments. longer video's are difficult to sit through and can be a bit boring. Switched from [ChurchPro](https://www.capterra.com/p/9745/ChurchPro/) because church pro is very outdated. I also found while doing year end reports that there was some inaccuracies. It doesn't look good when a member comes to you and says I gave this and that to this or that fund and while the amounts are right the funds were not even when I check to see if they were logged correctly. We also wanted a more updated system in particular we wanted something that would benefit children's check in. I went with Elexio partly because the church that we purchased our building from had used it and recommended it. Reasons for choosing Elexio Community It was recommended. I sat through an initial webinar about the product explaining benefits etc and was sold on it. Pros Only a few keystrokes are needed for the system to recognize those housed within the system. Cons The "upgrade" didn't appear as user friendly as the initial system. All modules "should" have been connected allowing for cross-talk before role-out. Some of the features within the modules do not allow for checking what was previously released -- i.e., when performing mass communication, the system tracks who sent a communique, but the user cannot go in to read what the information contained. Also if a user starts to type and has to switch to another application, the work that was started is lost. Reasons for choosing Elexio Community Not working here when our product was purchased.
