### "Great solution for QSEHRA management"

It has helped us manage our QSEHRA which saves my few administrative staff much time. We are able to use PeopleKeep instead of dealing with the extra cost of the hours we would otherwise spend dealing with all the paperwork.

Pros

I like that it is easy to use, even for those who are tentative to operate a computer to submit medical claims for reimbursements.

Cons

At first it is a little confusing as the administrator to find certain reports that are needed, such as an employee's used balance and remaining balance in their HRA for the year.

### "BEWARE! They get you in the door and then everything falls apart!"

They were supposed to handle the administration of reviewing & approving employee healthcare costs, taking the burden off our small team to add reimbursements via payroll. However, they put everything on automatic without actually confirming health costs were paid in a given month. They also don't notify you if the employee's health plans are not compliant, meaning the reimbursements are subject to normal taxes. We cancelled to provide a group health plan (actually much easier than I thought, and cheaper than the QSEHRA benefit was!). They didn't properly cancel the benefit, and say they need a developer to remove the last month which will take a month. Although they said that, there's a record of someone manually changing an employee's start date randomly. You can download a report to help verify your W2, however the report has incorrect data in it and they tell you (direct quote), "Regarding the W-2 reports, they are created as a courtesy to you. We do not send them out to any third parties. If you feel the need to make any adjustments, you may do so." If you want to spend days trying to resolve issues caused by this service after spending more money on it than a group health plan would have caused, sign up for PeopleKeep..

Pros

Their blog articles have some good info, although it's clear now they're just clickbait to pull you into their complete disaster of a software and service...

Cons

\- Total cost is higher for QSEHRA than a small group health plan, which is why I chose this path in the first place.- Support is useless, and they have to go to development team to fix simple mistakes that they caused.- Development team isn't actually available for support issues for 30+ days (still waiting, actually)- They put most work on employees, but don't educate them about the benefit - like whether their plan is compliant allowing for tax-free reimbursement.- They created two issues and will not support them.

Reason for choosing PeopleKeep

Cost and simplicity (both of which proved to be wrong)

In the time-off section, it would be better if there is a place I can track my PTO hours gained this year to date, accrued from last year, used and left.

Pros

This is one of the few platforms for administering ICHRA benefits. ICHRA benefits are a great choice for our business.

Cons

There are major problems with the software. Setting up 2022 benefits was broken. Making changes to 2022 benefits changed the 2021 benefits, which it shouldn't have and which is against the ICHRA rules. At some point, the software lost track of previously made reimbursements and told us to pay those reimbursements again. Signing up for benefits after a qualifying life event is impossible. There are numerous other problems with the software. Customer service response is one of a two things: 1. you're doing something wrong, 2. the problem is getting fixed (but it doesn't, even after weeks and months).

Reason for choosing PeopleKeep

It was one of the few choices and the interface seemed straightforward.

Overall, I love PeopleKeep. They have made things so easy and customer service is extremely helpful and nice about every single question I had in the initial set-up process and first months following.

Pros

The ease in using this software is beyond my expectations when I initially signed our company up for the product. It is extremely user-friendly. I have already told several small business owners to look into PeopleKeep because it has been so easy.

Cons

Initially when I registered us, it was unclear when I was onboarding myself. I am a user and the administrator, so that was the only confusing component. However, customer service was amazing in rectifying the situation before the billing occurred.

Reason for choosing PeopleKeep

The articles were extremely helpful. PeopleKeep seemed to be most transparent in fees and set up. The video on how to use the product was also helpful. I felt after reviewing, I was able to present the product with confidence to my superiors.

I like the chat feature that is available....the chat feature makes it easy to get customer service quickly so any issues are addressed in a timely fashion.

Cons

One thing I dislike is for each month that is approved for reimbursement for each employee, it is not clear what month of coverage the approval is for. This means I have to utilize the chat feature for additional claim details.

Health care expenses

Pros

Getting reimbursed for allowable expenses is 3 easy steps (select the type of reimbursement, upload your expenses and hit submit), your available balance is kept up to date and you are notified when your reimbursement is on its way. The customer support team will always get back to you in less than 24 hours (my experience has usually been no more than 2 hours).

Cons

I haven't encountered anything that the customer service team hasn't been able to resolve quickly for me.

### "Charged For 1 Year of Services Despite Cancelling Within Weeks of Setup & Never Utilizing "

As our company transitioned to a QSEHRA we found PeopleKeep. Within a couple weeks of signing up we ran into some issue due to covid and needed to cancel the service due to the inability to utilize it. We believed wouldn't be an issue as we had not utilized the service what so ever (zero claims filed, no employees setup in the system, etc.) However despite never utilizing the service the company refused to refund our company and charged us for an entire year of services. I would highly recommend utilizing a different service or asking if your payroll company can manage your QSEHRA as it appears most payroll providers are releasing features to manage this as we speak.

Pros

We were unable to utilize the software long enough to develop any list of Pro's.

Cons

The software was not a solution for our employee needs in managing their QSEHRA benefits.

Pros

Easy to use and fast response. Reimbursements are submitted and verified within days and show up directly into next paycheck.

Cons

The method of having to choose a medical expense from a drop down menu to be able to fill out the reimbursement info is a little difficult to deal with because it is so specific. Whereas if you could submit your reimbursement could be submitted under much more general groups and the specifics can be listed out in the description that would be faster and less confusing.

There is no direct number for support with PeopleKeep. Even for a small org it is necessary at times to have a direct line to support.

Pros

Good website -- pretty easy to navigate except for the delineation of settings by different year tabs. Overall the QSEHRA is a great idea / model for small businesses.

Cons

A majority of employees have complained about the approval process. Too often requests are rejected without a clear path forward.

PeopleKeep appeared to be one of the original teams working in HRAs and QSEHRAs.

PeopleKeep did just what we needed - helped provide equitable coverage to all our staff, while simplifying the administration for us to make it easy on all sides.

The interface is simple and attractive, it's easy to customize the reminders and other aspects, and the customer service and information for employees has been great.

It is extremely easy to record the monthly reimbursements given to employees. You can print an up to date report very easily. Employees love the system and it is also very easy for them to submit invoices/receipts if needed.

They respond to questions quickly and thoroughly. There is a great deal of information on the site, so I rarely even have to go to customer support. I appreciate being able to answer most of my own questions!

The PeopleKeep software interface is intuitive. The benefit itself is flexible, and the ease of use is appreciated (so I don't have to help our employees figure out how to use it).
