Marketing Specialist Machinery Used the software for: 2+ years ### "A robust, capable solution for multi-location signage management " February 15, 2023 5.0 Overall, we have been very happy with the features and functionality of the InLighten product. The robust management and scheduling features allow for us to plan our signage shows months in advance. The software is built to handle the management of multiple signage locations at once and does so with ease. The InLighten team is also exceptional and has provided us with great support along every step of the way. Pros Everything is in one place, making it easy to see the status of all signage locations, their last check-in, and what content they are loaded with and displaying. The software platform is extremely robust and capable and manages our 15+ signage locations with ease. Cons The design of the software itself is a bit dated and the learning curve is steep. Since the software is so capable and powerful, there are a ton of buttons, menus, and pages. It is very easy to get lost in the software and I sometimes feel that the delineation, labeling, and hierarchy of some key menus are a little muddled. I do feel that the software could use a redesign to make scheduling and queueing new shows a bit easier. I also dislike that I live preview of each location is not available. It would be nice to know exactly what is displayed on each screen at any given moment along with the ability to dump content instantaneously rather than wait for the 10-minute or so refresh intervals the signage players check in at. Reason for choosing inLighten Digital Signage The functionality and industry-specific tailoring were the biggest draws for us. While the cost was significantly higher than the other products we demoed, we felt the features and futureproofing InLighten offered were worth the upfront investment. Review Source Adam B. If a display or something is damaged in shipping, inLighten is quick to come up with a solution Pros It is easy to use, ability to schedule global and local shows. Also can see the network status of each unit. Cons on occasion the units have to be manually reset at the branch when they go offline. They are just awesome. Pros We love this solution. The messages are done professionally and look great. The value is fantastic. Multiple scheduling options including globally to multiple devices, locally for device-specific content and interrupt scheduling. Ability to select start/end dates and times, days of the week, etc for any individual show or shows. Easily create and/or upload your own content or use the gallery of high quality templates and backgrounds which is updated regularly. Accredited news segments including national news, world news and sports scores to name a few, as well as trivia, factoids, etc. are readily available. The list of features goes on and on...I recommend this software to anyone looking to implement digital signage, regardless of what industry you're in. Cons Hard to say. December 1, 2016 5.0 We used inLighten for our in-branch televisions. We only have 6 tvs setup with the system. The software has a great database of graphics and templates to use. It's a good product, but as mentioned in another review it is very expensive compared to the competition. We ended up breaking the contract and paying a very large fee so that we could switch to a lower cost vendor. We now us SpinetiX Elementi, it was a one-time setup fee and no contract. Pros Great database of templates and images/videos. Hardly ever any issues with software/hardware. Cons Expensive. Review Source FT Frustrated T. Used the software for: ### "SLOW, slow, slow to update & impossible to work with!" October 2, 2015 1.0 Pros: Up-to-date news, weather scenes available Cons: 1. SUPER expensive 2. OVERLY complicated (way too much for our needs) 3. MANDATED CONTRACT - once you sign, be warned - you can't get out of it unless you pay the 3 years in full. 4. Eager to SELL you on their product. Not so eager to work with you. 5.
