Pros: Individuals can book their own tickets easily and quickly without it being a drag on one of our members time.
Ability to have different discount codes

Cons: Having to have our own payment gateway, we would have preferred a system where payments were made instantly to Eventzilla and then forwarded to us on a daily / weekly basis

Overall: ease of management of our event from ticket sales to scanning people into the venue

We use it to provide event registration for free workshops. Overall it has worked fairly well for us

Pros: I like how it can be integrated into your own website. I like that it is free (mostly) if you don't charge for the event.

Cons: I wish we could customize it more without paying the extra price. I would particularly like to be able to customize the confirmation/reminder e-mails to add the venue room number and change the contact name. Some users claim they are not getting the reminder e-mails.

Overall: It gave us a free and relatively easy way to register workshop attendees for the free library workshops we offer hospital staff, students, and volunteers.

It was a nice look and feel, but not an ideal platform to organize a company internal event.

Pros: The configuration of the welcome page was good and that the attendees do not need to create an account.

Cons: Capturing question is everything but ideal, and is currently the showstopper for more.

I wanted a rather simple setup:

- Will you come alone or will you bring your spouse
- Will you use the bus offered to and from the location and how many will join the bus
- Any special meals your or your spouse required
- I/we will not join but still let you know that I'm not coming

Therefore I made a selection for 1 or 2 tickets. But since all questions are populated to both tickets, everything thereafter is just a mess to cleanup. And double registration is not prevented.

Pros: It loads quickly and I can find what I need quickly. The download excel helped a great deal when I was compiling registration lists.

Cons: I wasn't able to speak to a live person. It was difficult to keep the lists at the qty levels I wanted. Example, 100 kept shifting back to 10.

First big event was a success ... ease of use and quick payment good!

Pros: Quick payments with the build in WePay (??) weekly ... the unlimited discount codes, and tracking. This allowed me to easily pay the affiliate income that I offered other promoters.

Cons: I would like to see more `themes' or `templates' available for the event site itself.
I was confused on the math for your conversion I percentage. It was much lower than the system was showing. I sold 27 tickets with 2700 visits, which is 1%, not 2.5% ...

Eventzilla was mostly pretty easy to use

Pros: The fact that our conference delegates could input all of their own information, which meant less error at our end by manually entering.

Cons: That I cannot delete or cancel one ticket within a group of tickets selected by one purchaser. Some of the searching was a little difficult also, along with the ability to change the automated message that our delegates received.

Overall: ease of conference registrations

Eventzilla is very easy to use.

Pros: Easy to use, very intuitive. I like the post event survey option and the easy of setting up new events.

Cons: I can't seem to figure out the time zone for the ending time of ticket sales and I seem to have trouble updating hastages when I copy and event to use it for a new one.

Using Eventzilla was very easy and user friendly. I will definitely use it again in the future.

Pros: I like that I can see minute to minute sales and that my customers can email me directly if there is a problem.

Cons: There are one or two elements I didn't quite understand. There could have been better explanations for set up on social media.

Cons: Cons: Just remembering how to add the URL & keeping track of previously used. I guess you can only use the URL one time, so I have to keep track of them

Pros: User-friendly and quick to set up site. Combining the use of Eventzilla with WePay made for a very smooth on line ordering system. Downloading of reports great at both sites.

Cons: It is a little bit difficult navigating the site using the toolbar and trying to recall what the symbols represent. There were several registrants that got hung up in the pending mode. Perhaps it was the device or browser they were using were not compatible.

Overall: The ability to pre-register participants in our event with ease.

Pros: Ease and flexibility for event creation & contact with attendees. it is so easy to create an event & link a Google map to the location. I also like that I may customize an email when someone purchases a ticket & send the attendees a reminder or change about the event.

Cons: Setting up a waiting list is a bit confusing & not automated. I wish that it was automated so when an attendee cancels, the system would automatically go to the wait list & send the next person in line an email to register for an available seat. It seems that I have to do that manually - unless I just haven't figured that part out!

Pros: Eventzilla organizers pay substantially lower fees than on Eventbrite, and Eventzilla has all the features I need.

Cons: One feature it's lacking is the ability to transfer an attendee to a different event. I don't need that so often, so it's not a big problem.

Pros: I was able to do everything I needed and have it up and running in a few minutes - After all the sites I looked at for tickets this one made the most sense for me and my customers

Cons: nothing -this was too easy to use for me to complain about anything - I had looked at several sites comparing pricing mostly, but the ease of use here was amazing.

Pros: Slightly cheaper than eventbrite. Does all the basic things required for a ticketing site..

Cons: Booking fees per ticket are too high for a software product. Some parts are clumsy interface with too many steps to get to important things, like edit/preview an event, changing ticket end date. Have had various complaints from customers not able to process fees on paypal. The customer service repsonded but couldn't find anything wrong.

I have used eventzilla many times and it always works great.

Pros: Nicely laid out to get all the issues worked out before you go live. The email notifications are informative without being a burden.

Cons: I would like to be able to see all the attendees details easily- not just after downloading the .csv file.

I have been using Eventzilla occasionally for years to simplify the administration of events.

Pros: Cost - It's cheaper for events then most other solutions, Ticket Pricing - great with coupons and volume discounts, CheckIn - easy with the mobile phone applications, Check Out and Purchase - straight forward and the event pages are pretty good

Cons: We run 30 events or more a year. Our issue is that someone registers or purchases a ticket to an event but can't remember which one. There is no way to search all our event registrations at once, you will need to go into each event and search. This is very frustrating and time consuming. The event page looks great but adding formatted text can be a bit tricky. There were a few events where trying to get the formatting correct was awful and challenging - we just had to go with straight text only approach. When viewing all events there is no option to sort events - alphabetically, dates, etc. it would be great to be able to do this and to sort descending or ascending to find events more quickly. When an order is PENDING (meaning it hasn't been paid for online) the attendee doesn't show up in the attendees report until the order for the registration is PAID. We would prefer to have the attendee list contain a column that indicates if the ticket is paid for or not. That way the mobile registration app could alert us more quickly about payment status.

Overall: Affordable event management application that was quick to get up and running

Eventzilla has been easy to use and handles registration for my events seamlessly.

Pros: It is easy to input information and update from previous events (I use copy event a lot because I have similar events running every year.

Cons: I wish it was possible to pick the fields we wanted exported, however, as it currently exists (exporting to a .csv file with additional information) still works. This is not a big problem - just what I like least.

Ok, one more thing. Wish there were more templates to choose from for background picture during registration.

Pros: how everything is linked together, registration along with payment. Also being able to track the number of attendees of each events

Cons: the registration part when adding the physical address, I seem to always have to edit that part by going to preview first

Pros: Ease of use, setup, manage and analyze.
We've put it to the test in two events and all works wonders, it's not only cut down our costs but it also gives us an edge over other local venues when public access with their scanned ticket.

Cons: The ability to setup numbered seats for the venue, but I bet Eventzilla team is already working on it!

Overall: event management, ease of implementation, attendee management!

Been using for the last 8 events I have had and am very pleased.

Pros: The software is user-friendly both from an admin perspective and from the customer perspective. Payment is fast and accurate.

Cons: I'd like a better interface with social media. I would like to post to my facebook, linked in and twitter with a click or two.

Pros: I was hesitant to try a registration management site I had not heard of before, but I went ahead and did it. I've been very impressed in how great it works! It's pretty easy to use and if you can't find something, you can search the Q&A section. I've been using it a little over a year now for various events for our non-profit and I love the fact they keep the costs low, and even free for the general system. We will continue to use and promote Eventzilla whenever possible!

Cons: Honestly, I can't think of any. I've noticed it has a tendency to remove my cover photo at times and rearrange my custom questions. But those are just little quirks that are easy to work around. Just double check everything before publishing the event!

Overall: Ease of managing registration and I love that it's free. We are a non-profit so it's so appreciated that you keep the basic free!

Pros: Do not have to field a lot of phone calls. Our clients love it. We are easily able to transfer money. We can refund money to clients easily. I can manually put clients in if they are having problems. The phone app allows me to know when I need to make changes in the number of slots, amount of tickets or time variables. When I go to make those changes it does not take long and I am able to see the results immediately. If I need to go on after a class has been taught, I can use the past events to make that happen.

Cons: There are a few fixes I woul like to be trained on because I have not been able to figure them out. We continue to use PayPal because it is less expensive than Eventzilla currently. I would like to use just Eventzilla but again I would need some training to do that. Any time there is a change in Eventzilla it would be nice to get a specific message detailing the change, why it happened and how to work with the new process.

Overall: Made registration so much easier and lessened my phone calls by 75%

Just works. Easy setup in minutes for both free and paid events.

Pros: The number one reason Eventzilla is way better than competition is the immediate availability of fees collected. This means you get your money while your making the costs, and not months later.

Cons: If you really want a con I can say that I would like the management of discount codes easier.
The overview gives little information (ticket type / validity / discount offered)

The software has gotten better over time. It is not the most intuitive but it certainly gets the job

Pros: I am able to imbed registration linking on to my website. And it works well with PayPal. It isn't hugely expensive.

Cons: That the software doesn't recognize ticketing levels correctly. For example if you have a max registration of 10 and you have deposit, 1sr installment and 2nd installment registration ticket levels, the system will show sold out when 7 deposits, and 3 1st installments are made even though there are 3 spaces left. This is very annoying.

Very practical and useful. Good features and support.

Pros: Provides good value at low investment of time & money. We have reconsidered Event Brite from time to time, it has better features, but still select EventZilla. Writing our own from scratch is too expensive.

Cons: Lacks good field edits. Numbers should have field length, upper & lower boundary checks etc. We have an online membership database that we would like to use to validate attendees but there seems to be no way to embed code to validate member numbers against those entered in the field.

We use eventzilla for over 100 events each year. It's easy to set up events and to register!

Pros: Duplicating/cloning past events to save on time for setting up new events. Being able to export name badges, attendee lists, etc is awesome.

Cons: Would like the events on dashboard (past and present events) to be searchable. Also would prefer the most current events show up at the top of the dashboard rather than the bottom.

We have used for four events and have been successful with each one.

Pros: Pretty much intuitive, although I did contact customer support and they were really great and super responsive.

Cons: I had a little trouble finding templates that met my needs, and I couldn't seem to upload a file correctly to use our logo, but I suspect that has more to do with my inexperience, rather than Eventzilla. I definitely plan to use again.

I liked the front end of eventzilla - not a fan of the reporting capabilities.

Pros: Ease in setting up an event. I like the interface with chimp mail. The registration page looked good.

Cons: The tracking and reconciling the money received. Very challenging I spent hours trying to tie out the money to the different events. This needs to be improved before we will use Eventzilla again.

Pros: With EventZilla I was able to create and event, and people were able to register fairly easily. I could get lists of registrants, and see what they paid. I could send them email with updated information. It also integrated quite well into my website.

Cons: I could not 1. format the email notices, and when they were sent, they were always centered. 2. use the social media option. I tried many times, but nothing seemed to work 3. I paid for the URL/Domain option, but it did not work.

Pros: Organizes registrations in one location, and forces the individuals to register themselves. (I don't have to take phone calls/emails to register individuals into a spreadsheet and use a different system to collect payment.)

Cons: Wish comments could be updated after submitted into the system. Example: for individuals wishing to pay by check, I invoice them so their status changes from pending to confirmed so I have an accurate count for attendance to a training session/luncheon, etc. Also, clients are having difficulty paying by credit card - some don't want to use paypal but there is a button that allows them to click - this then puts their registration into an incomplete status. I have to then follow up with them to collect payment. Very frustrating. Customer service is also very poor in that - I have to email and wait over 24 hours or schedule a time for a call back (which often when I need help it's NOW!) I also can't get other registered administrators to be able to log in on their own accounts. They all use my log-in and password. :(

Overall: Reduces some of my workload but then again it also increases my workload in other areas (tracking/maintaining details)

Pros: The people who purchased the seminar event passes said it was incredibly easy to use and navigate. Didn't have a bad thing to say.

Cons: I am not sure about the payment software you guys provided so i went with paypal. Some more info about that system would be benefical.

Pros: I love that there is no delay in getting your money deposited to PayPal. Our organization uses PayPal to process hotel charges which are due AT the event. Other systems don't send you your money until after the event is done. Eventzilla sends you money as people register, enabling my organization to pay its bills on time.

Cons: Too many clicks to get to custom field data for registrations. But on the other hand, I LOVE that I can add custom fields for registration!!

Pros: Linked to Paypal easily for credit card payments but still with the option of cash payments. All registration info was in one place.

Cons: A number of people found the site didnt let them register or didnt allow them to pay well before the close of registration or the event was full. Emails that I sent from Eventzilla to attendees mostly went into their junk folders.

Pros: People could register and pay. Not too difficult to set up (a little clunky). The price was right.

Cons: 1. Domain I paid money for the domain to be used, but it did not work. So I built a page on my website. Just annoyed that I paid for something that did not work.
2. Billing is at the top. This was a "turn-off" for some people who wanted to know more before paying.
3. Media interface (e.g. Facebook & Linked In) didn't work.
4. Emails to participants was sent centered. This was annoying as I had carefully formatted the information.
5. Reporting is not easy to follow.

Overall: People could register

Pros: I like the ease of tracking registrants and how it is easy to generate reports and be able to see all the data in one place.

Cons: Some of the functionality could be better. For example, if I'm looking at orders and filter by "Pending Only", then click on an order, when I navigate back to the list of orders, the filter is gone and it's again showing the full list of orders. When trying to look for details about several orders, it takes many extra steps to get back to the same place.

Robust solution and gives us the features we were missing from other registration vendors.

Pros: The product covers all our must-have features. Paying to remove the logo and branding is something to consider for a more professional approach to the registration page. There are a lot of features to choose for customization.

Cons: The total count of registrations on the dashboard only displays that count of CONFIRMED and PAID registrations. It would be nice to see the PAID versus UNPAID registrations. By Unpaid registrations, I am referring to those registrations that are requesting to pay at the door or pay by invoice. Having that on the dashboard would make it easier for event managers to see a larger picture of what to expect on the event day (how many people are showing up to make a payment on the day of the event) to help with staffing at the registration desk.

It would be an improvement to pay a yearly fee to remove Eventzilla branding and logos from ALL events we schedule. We currently have 18 events and it was overwhelming for our finance folks to get 18 invoices for the fee to remove Eventzilla branding.

Overall: Not having to build our own registration system, downloadable reports

Pros: How about: it's less expensive than Eventbrite? But then it discourages my prospects from buying, so not even a lesser cost qualifies as something I like "most"

Cons: many times when prospects click on the link, it does not process correctly. The more motivated prospects then email or call and tell me that it is not working and send a check instead. Of course it does work, you just need to repeat click, but that's not how other packages work. I don't hear from the less motivated prospects

Pros: Pretty easy to run.

Cons: Sometimes I find certain things hard to find....have to go through different sections to find what I'm looking for. Can't remember examples offhand.

Overall: I didn't mean for it to become a business. I just thought I had some space and could let people use it to give dental continuing education. Before I knew it, I had 25 classes running each year and it's growing. A secretary? No need. I run it with Eventzilla! Promotion, registration, attendee lists, refunds (through PayPal). It couldn't be simpler.

My only complaint is that some of my tuitions are pretty large and I pay a hefty fee with the flat percentage even though there is no extra work for that. But that does cover their free service, too, so what the heck.

A great easy to use "affordable" ticketing platform.

Pros: Workflows are easy to figure out and editing on the fly is great - most other systems lock you in to a "Generated Inventory" - so if you make a typo or have to change to STOP SELL date you can't do those on the fly edits like you can with Eventzilla

Cons: An aggregated Order/Attendee report would be great! We normally have to print both to get all the details together (for our use-case).

Overall: I find the workflow easy, and I like that eventzilla keep their naming conventions standardized - there are no tabs with misleading names (which leads to much less menu-diving) - overall 5/5

Recommendations to other buyers: A on-screen visual guide that helps to push users below the fold - we've had customers tell us they could find where to input their information - it turned out the spacing on the page template had pushed the fields way down below the fold with a larger than expected gap in between.

Cons: Very little if any tracking capabilities.

Overall: We've been using Eventzilla for quarterly classes and event registrations. There are bugs in the system we don't like, but we've figured out a way around some of them to make it work for us. I took on the task of managing the tool without any training provided to me and it's been relatively easy to pick up as the site options are pretty intuitive. The tool has some limitations such as not being able to track sent messages, like when you've notified someone to complete their registration, or when you've notified someone on your waitlist that they can register. Another thing that bothers me is it will not allow us to overbook an event as the the administrator, which means if you cap your event, you have to go through a lengthy and risky process of opening registration up again to the public if you want to register someone on the back-end after your event has reached max cap or it's past the registration deadline. This is something we have to do a lot and it is time-consuming. Overall the tool is useful and pretty user-friendly, but we would like to have better email tracking and customer tracking abilities and will be exploring other options.

Recommendations to other buyers: We need to see metrics, sent emails, track participation in events. And we need to be able to overbook our own events.

Pros: I could embed a widget on my site, custom registration fields, and tiered ticket sales options

Cons: the badge print feature, refund process, customer service, the code redemption process was clunky, the widget kept a side scroll bar when embedded

Overall: I used the product for a smaller group of 75 and a conference for 200. When I needed the features, that prior to the event seemed to set Eventzilla a part, to make managing the larger event easier for me, they seemed to all need trouble shooting and the customer service was hard to find and when I did talk to them it took days to resolve anything. overall it is just ok. I think I chose eventzilla because the cost was effective, but I was more frustrated than happy when I used it on a larger scale.

Recommendations to other buyers: You need to make customer service a priority- we are all in hospitality of some sort if we are running an event, so you have to keep up with us.

Pros: It was affordable and offered custom registration. We could embed widgets on our existing event website.

Cons: In order to cancel a registration I had to wait several days and call several times. The badge printing feature was not worth it- It was ugly and not at all helpful. Any time I changed someone's name in the registration it did not stay even after calling customer service... overall a clunky experience that I will probably not use again. It was fine, just not what I expected.

Pros: Eventzilla is easy to learn and navigate. It makes managing RSVP lists for events easy and allows customization depending on registration process. The event pages created are clean and neat and user friendly for attendees that are registering for the event.

Cons: There are some limitations if you need to create a detailed (multiple choice) registration page. Sometimes the font format can be difficult to format under Event Information. Would like if you could customize event page with more options.

Pros: Money is deposited daily. We were concerned because some services hold money up to 5 days after the event, but we needed to pay our venue on the day of the event. Eventzilla transferred funds each day, so we were able to easily pay our venue.

Cons: Navigating the site wasn't as simple as it could have been. You had to go to "Edit event" in order to see the emails of the attendees which seemed like a weird place for it.

Comments: Overall, I think eventzilla is an app that offers basic functions for event ticketing. As a first time user, certain functions like 'deleting entries' was a bit tough, but the customer support team, responded quickly and solved my query :)

Customizing the URL was complicated and I never got to see if the change was made (lack of turnover time). Perhaps more detailed instructions could be given (after payment was made).

Comments: We hosted a two-day event using Eventzilla. Our registration and check-in processes were greatly refined. That's a big deal when you're hosting 1,800 people! This product is a work in progress, though, and it shows through in the details. The site is frequently slow. Typos are frequent (this is a big deal when it's public facing), and the manual check-in process is agony to use with a list size of over 1,000 (no search function is provided). Overall it's a great concept still lacking in some execution.

Comments: I found Eventzilla through a google search. After being annoyed of the high ticketing costs from competitors, I decided to give them a try. Eventzilla is cheap, easy to use and has stellar customer service that actually answers your specific questions, rather than sending you to a message board to find the answer yourself -- what more could you want? I'd highly recommend Eventzilla.

Pros: Excellent customer service! Easy to use!

Cons: There have been a few times that the system has gotten a little buggy. Either the text would come out in different colors, or the image banner wouldn't upload. After a few attempts, I've always been able to fix it, or Eventzilla's customer service helped me fix it.

Pros: Ease of tracking total numbers of registrants. The ability to download as an excel file at the end, to manipulate into the sign-in sheets that worked best for us.

Cons: The payment methods offered were limited, and not customizable. Also, PayPal was the "online payment method", but PayPal has serious issues with anyone trying to use their cell phone to pay (instead of a laptop/pc). Also, if someone needed a registration modified (name changes, email changes, etc.) it was extremely time consuming and frustrating to do.

Overall: We used the software for about 1 year, as a registration method for a large convention. Overall, the software works well, but there are some flaws, especially with payment methods offered.

Cons: 1. Server is rather slow (I am based in Malaysia)
2. New layout is okay, but lost its focus for 2 elements: Event Logo (too small), Available Ticket (this is crucial, as Available Ticket is used to create urgency. The font size is not as prominent as before. )
3. Chinese characters support. Overall: I have been using Eventzilla for over 15 events. Overall, I am satisfied with the service. But, it could be better.

Recommendations to other buyers: Maybe a few layout templates to choose from and more customization.

Like feature that can have ticket order holder and then they individually add the ticket attendee

Cons: Couldn't switch off "View Other Events" button.
Didn't wish for one group to see another event, wanted to keep them quite separate.

Overall: Easy set-up to follow, love the template and preview pages, easy to export names, good stats recorded, prompt customer ticket service.

Comments: Our trade association has used Eventzilla for the last two of our golf outing events and will use it again next year. It was very easy to set up, even with all of our sponsorship and registration levels, and the map feature is really nice.

Pros: - It has cool theme graphics you may select for your site. - The pay-on-line feature is very simple and easy to use. - It affords you every chance to post your event correctly, which I particularly appreciated since I had to make several corrections. - If you don't make a bunch of mistakes, set-up is quick and easy.

Cons: - I found it a little bit confusing trying to access the spreadsheet showing registration information, but that's no doubt just my high level of computer illiteracy.

Comments: Eventzilla is easy to use. I have had serious issues with the "Email attendees" functionality which didn't seem to work. I tried to look up online for other people experiencing the same but wasn't successful. I didn't contact customer Service for that. I ended up sending a mass email with Yahoo mail to attendees.
There are many features that could be added to make it more versatile depending on the registration logic needs. One of the most important for the needs of our event was to be able associate available subsequent choices with answers to previously submitted choices. Mutually exclusive choices (for example if you chose A you cannot choose C in a later choice, make C unavailable) and other similar logic combinations

Comments: I didn't quite enjoy the interface initially--had to fool with it a bit, and never used customer service so had to give them a rating anyway. My ticket holders were able to easily access the event, though it would have been nice to add time frames to each event, though it was a 2 day event, with one ticket--we could only treat it as a single event with a time stretch. That meant additional emails and explanations. sort of a drag. otherwise, this was pretty simple once I got the hang of it and even created coupon codes!

Comments: The pros are that management of the tickets was better than individuals selling tickets. We did receive our money from PayPal as promised, so that worked well.
The cons were that setting up the account was not easy as portrayed. When speaking with representatives on the phone, I could not understand the representative. When I tried to use the Chat program, the answers were either slow or not at all. I suggest that when emailing confirmation regarding ticket purchase that only one email be sent to notify regarding 1)purchase of the ticket; 2) payment being made to PayPal and 3) payment being made to Eventzilla. There were way too many emails to handle the information.
The list of purchasers available from the site were listed with first names instead of last names, and the font was so small as to be not usable for checking people in at the door. I had to prepare a separate list on my computer.
Sometimes people did not receive an Eticket and did not know what to do, nor did the clients.
I think some additional work on the website is in order. Customer Service needs some work also.
I realize that I am of an older generation and perhaps a younger person more tech savvy could have navigated all of this a little more easily. It was quite frustrating for me.

Comments: Great tool for creating private events. Used for a series of events related to one big one in a great manner. Only thing I would like put my finger on is the email service (hard to use, limited formatting options) and the fact that I cannot easily dissect according to which tickets where bought.

It was okay - we had too many people saying that they had a hard time when registering 4 our event

Comments: Pros: Fairly simple to set up, seems simple for attendees to use, multiple views of attendee data, ability to email attendees. I like the export function because it allows me to save the attendee data in Excel and manipulate it to suit my needs. Customer Service via chat was prompt and effective.

Cons: Does not work for events with limited seating due to "pending" tickets not being pulled from seating totals. Anyone choosing to pay at the door ends up in "pending" unless you manually confirm the ticket. If you do, it puts that customer in with those who have paid and you have no way of identifying them at check-in. A couple of times before our event I had to go in and adjust the number of available tickets to compensate for the "pending" attendees.

Too many attendees had trouble with the payment process and ended up on the "incomplete/abandoned" list. From what I gather from attendees, many thought they had to have a PayPal account when they got to the payment page, so they backed out. A PayPal account is not required for payment processing since we have an account. Somehow the interface should be reviewed to avoid confusing potential attendees.

Customer service via chat was prompt and effective. I'm still waiting for an email response to a question I was promised, but now our event is over.

There should be a way to move attendees that end up on the "incomplete/abandoned" list to the "pending" list if they have chosen to pay at the gate.

Comments: I really liked all the features available for event management. We held an event for 150 and could not have handled registration without it. I really like the fact that it was free to use if we were not charging a fee for the event. I was having some issues with downloading and used the chat feature to talk instantly to the software support team and they were awesome!

Comments: I used Eventzilla for a 20 year Nursing School reunion. I am not a professional party planner, just a mere mortal with limited computer skills and a desire to see long-lost friends. This website was perfect for us! Attendees could easily pay with a credit card. You then have to set up an account with PayPal (or similar) to have the money deposited into that account. The Eventzilla fee was a dollar per ticket sold. The fee with Paypal was 2.9% of whatever you are charging for your "ticket" plus 30 cents. Setting up the website was fairly easy, although somewhat time consuming (as any website would be). You can get all sorts of helpful information from your home page about website traffic, aborted ticket sales, etc. If you are selling tickets to something and trying to make money doing so (not the case for me) I can see where this info would be very helpful. I did have to contact customer service one time. I was surprised that there is no phone number to call, only an email address. They did respond to my question quickly, and gave me the information I was looking for.

My one complaint, is how the page looks where payment takes place. My attendees would decide how many tickets they were purchasing then click the next button. No prob. On the next page they would fill out their personal info so I would know who was purchasing the ticket, then click the next button. No prob. This next page shows a confirmation number with their name. Next to their name they are to pick a payment method (either Paypal or credit card). This payment area is not set up in a clear fashion. That, coupled with the confirmation number, meant quite a few people thought that they were good to go, but in fact, were not, because they hadn't paid! My suggestion is to NOT give a confirmation number before payment is received as well as revamp the look of the payment screen.

Having said that, I would definitely use Eventzilla again. If they could fix the payment screen, they would be darn near perfect.

Comments: I found the software fairly easy to use and overall liked the program and features a lot. The one thing that I would like to see changed is the ability to change who the buyer is. I had several comments that when they received the confirmations it showed a name as the buyer that was not the person who actually input the information. This created some confusion on the part of the purchasing individual for the department.

Comments: Sometimes my registrations DO NOT show up - eventhough they paid. I always have to double check all registrations.

Also the "send invitation" part does not work well. Its slow and it sometimes doesnt work at all.

Comments: We have used Eventzilla for 3 years to run an event, we have been able to take a selection of data, adapt and run the registration process and keep up to date with managing payments and our attendees.

For 2 years it was a superb system, we had no problems it all ran incredibly smoothly. This year however approximately a third of our orders, did not receive their tickets, we had to talk to a huge number of people and assure them they had tickets for the event. Their email addresses given were correct, and the emails hadn't been caught by a Spam filter. Technical glitches occur, it's understandable, we contacted Eventzilla and informed them of our problem, and were dealt with in the most infuriating and asinine way possible. We were informed that it was our fault attendees weren't receiving emails and they were being sent to the order email address, we explained we understood this, and that the emails weren't being delivered there, we supplied evidence of the orders who had failed to receive contact, and were told that the Eventzilla system showed them having been delivered. There was no suggestion of where these emails were going to, no interest in trying to help us resolve this issue, no acknowledgement of any fault on behalf of Eventzilla, the stark comparison between faultless service 2 years previously and nothing but problems this year was extremely apparent.

We will not be using again.

Comments: Some credit card transactions were rejected. We still aren't certain why. And, customer service was scarce and hardly accessible and when they were, they were very quick to claim the issue was completely on our side. The user-interface could definitely use some updating as well.

Some people with multiple entries did not get more than 1 email for people they had entered or an email at all. may be an issue on there end.
When people entered there details it did not come up as mandatory name address etc. Fields you put in do but the others don't.
Will definitely use it again.

Comments: We used Eventzilla for registration for a trivia night fundraiser, and it was exactly what we needed. The event page is quick and easy to set up, and there are many options for tickets, handling payments, etc. The fee is simple and straightforward. All tables were sold online before the event. Credit card payments worked great through our PayPal account. I only had two minor issues. First, I would like a little more control over the format of the event page. Second, the event owner needs to be notified about incomplete orders. We found out that one person thought they were registered but their order was in an incomplete state, which we did not know about and could not find a cause. Fortunately we found this before the event sold out. So, it is a good idea to monitor the incomplete/abandoned orders. Otherwise, this service works well and is easy to use.

Comments: We find eventzilla very thorough for our events. Heaps of options, very customisable design format.

We had some glitches with our page, but every time support was prompt and helpful.

I noticed everytime I edited the page when it was live, the page went back into a draft state, and all the previous registrations got thrown into a obselete page. So that wasn't very helpful, not sure if it's meant to be like that.

But a very affordable system. We are just gutted we can't get a credit card system working for us. We are in New Zealand, which paypal does, but they won't do accounts for religious organisations. So if you guys got DPS payment onboard, that would be amazing for us.

Comments: This was my first time to use the software so I was on a learning curve but the help desk answered all my questions. One thing I feel needs adjusted is that I was using the software for a charitable organization and was disappointed to see that if someone is giving a donation beyond the ticket price, the fee is higher than the ticket itself.
Otherwise, I will use Eventzilla again. As I get more use to it I will have more helpful suggestions.

Comments: I started out using a different software package, but I had a hard time making it perform as promised. Eventzilla was easy to set up and implement. Over 50 project managers have been able to sign up for different meetings without issue. The check-in feature is also great.

I would have liked a 1-800 number for support so that I could get immediate assistance during business hours.
