I feel that it's reliable and meets my needs. Works for me for basic event setup, without a lot of fuss.

Pros

It's very easy to use and focuses on the basic features I need without all the complexity of an Eventbrite. Gets the job done.

Cons

Doesn't help draw people to your event the way Eventbrite does. But sometimes that is a good thing, for events you want to be more private. Sometimes it has a few random glitches but nothing majorly problematic.

We organize in-person events and need to synchronize that data with our existing CRM. Eventzilla has been helpful in facilitating this process. Additionally, we are able to send emails and gather feedback using Eventzilla. We have just started using Eventzilla. It might take some time to give an extensive review.

Pros

This platform offers nearly all the features you would expect from a premium event management solution. The integration with HubSpot is quite basic, but the options for customising tickets and add-ons are excellent. Their technical support team is very responsive and helpful. Setting up the platform is straightforward, making it easy for even those without technical expertise to create events.

Cons

One drawback I’ve noticed with Eventzilla is that its branding flexibility is somewhat restricted. There aren’t many templates available for the event registration page, and the options for customising those pages are also quite limited. Also it's embedded widgets are a bit slow.

Not good enough to create enthusiasm, not bad enough to rage-quit. I guess I am not going anywhere else in the near future.

Pros

It mostly works. It's pretty stable. I can do what I need to do with reasonable costs. That's about it.

Cons

Many, many features are extra charges, even when I am already paying their "retail" price for my event as it is.

I keep using it and it has stood up to the test of time. It solved some issues I was having in operations of our club. My club is a legacy user, we have been on board since the beginning.

Pros

Organizing membership and events. I like being able to write all the descriptive details and collect information through customized questions. Emailing participants is easy!

Cons

Trying to teach my team how to use it. I have practice and have been using it for about 10 years. Sometimes, there's changes that catch me by surprise. I don't get Renewal notices for our plan.

This is my and my team's first time planning an event on this scale. From day one, Eventzilla has been so straightforward and easy to use. The way the system functions is so logical that it has been easy to implement and learn. When we've had questions, their support team has been responsive and helped us to learn the platform better and maximize our value. Every time we have come with a feature need, we've discovered that they already have it and are 10 steps ahead of us. I'm really excited for us to host this event because how easy Eventzilla has made it!

Pros

Eventzilla is soooo easy to use, so logical and straightforward, easy to learn, has a great appearance, and is very responsive in helping with customer service. Their platform is also very functional and has had almost no bugs. I'm a big fan!

Cons

We've had almost no problems with Eventzilla. When there has been an issue like a text box not showing up the way we need to, we've been able to bring to to Eventzilla and they've responded quickly and efficiently to solve the problem. I don't have any other feedback for Eventzilla at this time.

Eventzilla has been a decent product. Very easy to use but they really need to work out the random glitches.

Pros

The system is really easy to use. It took no time for our team to get the hang of it. The front end is very pleasing to the eye.

Cons

The system glitched and made it seem like we sold out of an entire category. Our team was so excited... A few days after, the team noticed the glitch and we had to start at square 1. We could have lost so much revenue because of that mistake.

Pros

Great event management tool fit for smaller events as the cost depends on the size of your event. Easy to create an event page and link it to our homepage.

Cons

Customer service wasn't the best, when purchasing the product. There isn't a contact person to help you through when problems occur, just an email address for the helpdesk.

Overall, wonderful. We've used it for years for online event registration management.

Pros

Cons

A little more admin control for editing registrations would be nice. We have registrants whose tickets are booked by another person, and if that person does not set up the registration correctly, it is a little clunky for directing them to update it (when I can't do it as admin).

We found Eventzilla when Covid shut down our live events. We had to find a way to keep our customers engaged and the team at Eventzilla was extremely helpful and affordable for our customers to order tickets. My general overall experience has been wonderful. The management team has been very helpful in helping us navigate changes.

Pros

Ease of use and integration. My favorite is the ease of checking in attendees using their QR codes and our own devices.

Cons

There really isn't anything I don't like. We are currently using this softward for check in purposes. We used to move all tickets through Eventzilla but with changes to our business model we had to move tickets in house for verification reasons. We are working to update our systems and look forward to fully integrating Eventzilla to our systems if possible.

It was super easy to navigate and simple to use, and it gave me an abundance of information regarding my event!!!

Pros

The best thing about eventzilla is how simple and easy it was to edit and look at all of the information regarding the event that I put on! If I needed to edit or change any of my registrations from the event, when people contacted me, I could go in and do that instantly and easily!!! Refunds were a piece of cake as well!!! Literally the smoothest and easiest to use platform when it comes to any sort of event!! I can’t wait to use it again for my next event in October 2025!

Cons

I wish they had an app that was quality built and functional! The issue with the current version of their app is that is honestly unusable in comparison to use in their website. That would just be a quality of life change that I would like to see implemented.

I used to LOVE this system but now it has gone to $#IT. Going elsewhere.

Pros

I really enjoyed the simplicity of the previous system. It was powerful in all the right ways - mass communication with HTML capabilities, order and attendee sorting, third-party merchant services integration, easy to use event page layout designer, etc... All of the above have slowly declined in reliability and there are many glitches in the system now.

Cons

1\. Setting ticket sales dates do not work accurately and are off by DAYS. 2. Ticket sales quantities are no longer registering and have caused issues with overselling, thus having to manually refund. 3. Glitches in sold out capacities where new ticket sales show up as "sold out" immediately. 4. Customer service response times used to be a few days, now I don't even get a follow up. Their chats are bots that seem to go to nobody now. 5. The reformatted their system design to be more visual, but it does not sort events at all so if you have more than 20 events in log, they easily get lost in the long scrolling format. 6. Their HTML based mass email form has now started to glitch and ticket buyers receive HTML code instead of what it should look like. 7. Ticket purchasers intermittently do not receive their PDF tickets. 8. Sometimes ticket purchasers get charged twice for one ticket. This used to be competitively priced with strong and reliable features. This no longer serves as an efficient system for ticket sales as it requires A LOT more manual entries and putting out fires due to glitches in the system.

Affordable event management application that was quick to get up and running

Pros

Cost - It's cheaper for events then most other solutions, Ticket Pricing - great with coupons and volume discounts, CheckIn - easy with the mobile phone applications, Check Out and Purchase - straight forward and the event pages are pretty good

Cons

We run 30 events or more a year. Our issue is that someone registers or purchases a ticket to an event but can't remember which one. There is no way to search all our event registrations at once, you will need to go into each event and search. This is very frustrating and time consuming. The event page looks great but adding formatted text can be a bit tricky. There were a few events where trying to get the formatting correct was awful and challenging - we just had to go with straight text only approach. When viewing all events there is no option to sort events - alphabetically, dates, etc. it would be great to be able to do this and to sort descending or ascending to find events more quickly. When an order is PENDING (meaning it hasn't been paid for online) the attendee doesn't show up in the attendees report until the order for the registration is PAID. We would prefer to have the attendee list contain a column that indicates if the ticket is paid for or not. That way the mobile registration app could alert us more quickly about payment status.

We've used eventzilla to organise our national fundraising challenge events, allowing people to sign up for mountain climbs and pay for their ticket at the same time as accepting T&C's and finding out more information about the event. It was really easy to set up and to manage the event and much easier than dealing with hundreds of emails!

Pros

It's easy to use and simple to personalise the events to incorporate your own branding and design. The notification settings are also easy to adjust to suit and reporting works really well. There are a lot of functions for a simple looking interface.

Cons

Nothing, it all does what we want it to!

I used Eventzilla for a 20 year Nursing School reunion. I am not a professional party planner, just a mere mortal with limited computer skills and a desire to see long-lost friends. This website was perfect for us! Attendees could easily pay with a credit card. You then have to set up an account with PayPal (or similar) to have the money deposited into that account. The Eventzilla fee was a dollar per ticket sold. The fee with Paypal was 2.9% of whatever you are charging for your "ticket" plus 30 cents. Setting up the website was fairly easy, although somewhat time consuming (as any website would be). You can get all sorts of helpful information from your home page about website traffic, aborted ticket sales, etc. If you are selling tickets to something and trying to make money doing so (not the case for me) I can see where this info would be very helpful. I did have to contact customer service one time. I was surprised that there is no phone number to call, only an email address. They did respond to my question quickly, and gave me the information I was looking for. My one complaint, is how the page looks where payment takes place. My attendees would decide how many tickets they were purchasing then click the next button. No prob. On the next page they would fill out their personal info so I would know who was purchasing the ticket, then click the next button. No prob. This next page shows a confirmation number with their name. Next to their name they are to pick a payment method (either Paypal or credit card). This payment area is not set up in a clear fashion. That, coupled with the confirmation number, meant quite a few people thought that they were good to go, but in fact, were not, because they hadn't paid! My suggestion is to NOT give a confirmation number before payment is received as well as revamp the look of the payment screen. Having said that, I would definitely use Eventzilla again. If they could fix the payment screen, they would be darn near perfect.

It’s good but there a lot of room for improvement.

Pros

The interaction with PayPal is great and it allows folks to use their own credits cards to maximize points etc.

Cons

There is no way to create a reply email (like a thank you) to a registration. Just a like box. I think this could be substantially better. Also the ticket limit is ridiculous. If you have an event with a limit of 10 spots, and you want to stagger payments (1/3, 1/3, 1/3) the system will show sold out when 10 payments are received. So 7 pay the first 1/3, 3 go to pay the second 1/3. When the 4th goes to make a second payment they get sold out. It’s forced me to go to invoicing through PayPal.

I use it to put together a luncheon at a trade show for 100+ people, twice a year. It works well enough, and seems to get good uptake. I'd like to have more design options and have the app auto-save my work. Creating a mobile app option would add value and make the platform stand out from competitors like Eventbrite, Eventbee and Cvent.

Pros

free access, seems to be working to improve each time I use it. Moving in the right direction. I also like the security feature built into the UX, where I'm prompted to create a password for registrants. Allows me to get creative w/o making it too difficult.

Cons

Many event-centric elements aren't even hinted at as on offer. It'd be a good way to monetize it better, to 'ghost' features like planning checklists, contact lists, design templates, and other key event organizing points. Having a wizard/AI would be amazing, since there are many types of events.

Although this service will improve and has potential to be very good, I would recommend you look at other programs such as Eventbrite and take some notes from their business model. They are very efficient and work very seamless without lag. Although I like your event customizing much better than Eventbrite, the rest has been just off mark. Again, I am sure you will improve over time with feedback such as this.

Pros

Great promise with intuitive layout and customize able layout.

Cons

Reports and real time operation. When a report is ran, it should be able to be opened within a minute or less. Not be told that it will be emailed when ready. Sometimes it took a few minutes, other times, it took hours or never was emailed. Changes when customizing the event were not quick and sometimes had to wait 5 minutes or more for them to lock in, even after refreshing the cache. Payments would need to post before tickets were issued, and constant complaints from customers that would not receive their tickets and verified by us as well. Real time purchasing information was a let down as well as the app.

Pros

It tracks the number of people who register for our classes we offer. We love the ability to "Clone" repeated events so we don't have to type in repeated information.

Cons

Any event that requires online payment was a little difficult to set up because it goes through a third party site.

We have used Eventzilla for 3 years to run an event, we have been able to take a selection of data, adapt and run the registration process and keep up to date with managing payments and our attendees. For 2 years it was a superb system, we had no problems it all ran incredibly smoothly. This year however approximately a third of our orders, did not receive their tickets, we had to talk to a huge number of people and assure them they had tickets for the event. Their email addresses given were correct, and the emails hadn't been caught by a Spam filter. Technical glitches occur, it's understandable, we contacted Eventzilla and informed them of our problem, and were dealt with in the most infuriating and asinine way possible. We were informed that it was our fault attendees weren't receiving emails and they were being sent to the order email address, we explained we understood this, and that the emails weren't being delivered there, we supplied evidence of the orders who had failed to receive contact, and were told that the Eventzilla system showed them having been delivered. There was no suggestion of where these emails were going to, no interest in trying to help us resolve this issue, no acknowledgement of any fault on behalf of Eventzilla, the stark comparison between faultless service 2 years previously and nothing but problems this year was extremely apparent. We will not be using again.
