Pros When it comes to my own hours I usually add time in beebomber into a relevant project, task and incorporate it into my normal flow so that it doesn’t feel like another thing to have to do. I clock in or out as needed, assign time to projects/tasks and do a review at the end of the week before I submit. I find this approach to be very simple and I never have had to wonder which button to press or how my time was being used. Cons The reporting is adequate, but I’d like to see more ability to slice the data differently. Sometimes I feel the interface looks a bit old comparing to modern systems at some points. It's ok like this also, but it takes a little bit more time to convert it into Excel. Having this time card allows me to easily track my time and focus on the task at hand and team collaboration, all without dealing with an obnoxious interface. It makes keeping track of my time on up to hundreds of project simple! Pros I like the straightforwardness of Beebole. As soon as we started using it, it was all very intuitive to use. It makes tracking your time easy, and can easily be used to view your past weeks when reporting time for an RES. We have never had any major issues, but our interactions with customer support have been positive. Beebole also sends a reminder email at the end of each day to fill in your card. I personally fill mine out during the day so I have filtered that email off into its own folder. However, the reminder was nice when first starting out! Cons I occasionally have small issues with Beebole. Sometimes, when adding a new item to my time card, Beebole will bug out and double my time entry into two separate entries. Then, I have to refresh the page and fine the duplicate to fix it. It is not a huge issue, but Beebole is not free of bugs. Pros I use Beebole every day to count how much of my time is in reality dedicated to client work vs admin, meetings and random interruptions. I’ve fallen into the habit of using a timer to track when I’m working on something and when I take a break, so it has been great that starting the timer and stopping it is now just second nature whenever I go into work mode and when I break down my hours at the end of each week. Cons I sometimes struggle editing time entries after the fact—it takes a bit too long, especially if I forget to stop a timer or am recording overlapping tasks. I also hope there’s an easier way to switch projects without drilling into dropdowns. Mobile app could have been smoother; it’s convenient but not quite as responsive as the desktop version. Information is secured and trustworthy, nothing gets erased by mistake, and you can track in real time how much has been spent on each project. I would say that it can be improved though, for example, adding an end date to projects would be good, to avoid people billing on already finished projects. Overall, I would say that it takes a while to figure out how to parameter and use it properly, but once you do, it becomes a very helpful tool, and the Beebole team is always here to help. We are glad to have selected it! Pros It is very easy to record hours, the interface looks good and is customizable. The reports allow you to display or extract the data under many forms, easily accessing the information you need in a timely manner. Cons It takes some time to figure out how to best use it, for example, a lot of our users keep sending in their timesheets when they only wanted to save them, or get lost with the timeframe feature. And so far, we haven't seen better suited solution for our needs. Pros It's very flexible and customizable. You can set up and structure time tracking to suit various scenarios. As a small and agile organization, we were often in situations where we had to adapt our time tracking needs for our clients. Beebole helped us to meet those requirements and avoid having several solutions. Cons With great flexibility comes a little steeper learning curve. It takes some time to understand all features and the best way to achieve your needs. It is still very simple for most of the end-users, quick and intuitive (which is 95% of all users). The system's ease of use and our employees' satisfaction with BeeBole make it our best choice. The speed and helpfulness of their Support also deserves praise. Pros BeeBole is a user-friendly, intuitive, easy to use timesheet system. The initial training for a new employee takes less than 30 minutes, and we barely have any user issues (even those are resolved easily in-house). The timesheet easily works with our internal resource allocation system. Cons Everything we use BeeBole for, works perfectly. There are no cons to the system, only room for development. E.g. it would be great to see a function for time/resource planning, as well. November 20, 2018 4.0 I have found the tool very effective in creating monthly reports for team leads and finance. Also applying some post-processing (by means of a spreadsheet) is very easy thanks to all the metadata that can be added to time entries such as custom field values and groups. Pros The SW is nicely structured in modules, and every screen is highly customizable depending on your needs and role in the organisation. The best thing by far is the support these guys are providing: even when hitting the limits of the tool on a given use case, the online chat is always the easiest way to get in touch with them and get support in a matter of a couple of hours tops! Cons Management of which users get to view which projects to book their hours on is not the simplest thing to configure when managing complex setups (e.g. by default every new sub-project/project/company is visible to everybody - or inherits by its parent). When pushing the tool to its limits, especially when trying to move hours across projects and companies, it can be hard to get it right because the manual intervention required can be error prone. A recent update has improved this aspect (no more need for export and import data), however there are still a number limitations (e.g. hours cannot be moved from a project to a sub-project).
