For the contractor, the system gives them the ability to keep tabs on needed aspects of project management (scheduling, payment rates, target completion dates, etc.). For the contractee, the system gives the ability to only have to access one platform to access assignments, download work documents, upload completed work and keep track of pay rates for each individual assignment. Pros As a training course material developer and reviewer for my contractor, ProofHub provides a single platform where I can keep track of all my assignments (even if they differ in work content) and access all of the documents that are involved in completing my work projects. Cons Many times, I had to click on a URL more than once to gain access to a particular document. For many of my assignments, I have to open more than one document and go back and forth between the documents. Sometimes, I had to make numerous clicks to gain access to those documents, often clicking on the same URL a few times before the needed document actually loaded. Another thing that wins ProofHub brownie points is the way it makes collaboration seamless for the team. There is no confusion anymore- on task responsibilities, expectations, and deadlines. You open the task and you know exactly what needs to be done and by whom. Teams no longer use Slack groups for task-related discussions but prefer communicating in the respective task comment section of each task. It hits all of our needs, most of our wants and does it at 10 percent of the cost of other options out there so for us, we are very pleased! Cons On that note, this software isn't perfect. It is easy to implement but there are some features that you have to dig for and other features that aren't explained in depth. Still, for a novice to approach, learn and become proficient in a short amount of time, I am pleased at how easy it was to eventually figure out. We also use a blend of several business operating systems and our internal language can be confusing. I was hoping to be able to change certain parts of the software that I cannot. For example, I would love to title Projects (instead of "Projects") as "Yearly Objectives"... that cannot be done with this software. Small sticking point for us, but nothing insurmountable.
