For the contractor, the system gives them the ability to keep tabs on needed aspects of project management (scheduling, payment rates, target completion dates, etc.). For the contractee, the system gives the ability to only have to access one platform to access assignments, download work documents, upload completed work and keep track of pay rates for each individual assignment. Pros As a training course material developer and reviewer for my contractor, ProofHub provides a single platform where I can keep track of all my assignments (even if they differ in work content) and access all of the documents that are involved in completing my work projects. Cons Many times, I had to click on a URL more than once to gain access to a particular document. For many of my assignments, I have to open more than one document and go back and forth between the documents. Sometimes, I had to make numerous clicks to gain access to those documents, often clicking on the same URL a few times before the needed document actually loaded. It is great for project management on the marketing and sales side and will be super easy for employees to learn quickly. Loved our experience with ProofHub, just outgrew its capabilities as we increased in size! Pros ProofHub was the first organization software our company used and it really helped us get experience to see how impactful that is to our organization. It is very simple to integrate and get a lot of licenses for people to get in the system, as well as super simple for the end user to learn the system! Cons We found it difficult for proofhub to expand to all the needs of our organization and wasn't super scalable. April 29, 2025 3.0 Pros I like the daily reminders that are sent to your email. This helps with setting up daily/weekly goals without having to open up ProofHub. I also enjoy the home dashboard, where I see an overview of my projects. Lastly, being able to share with other colleagues to ensure tasks are getting completed and where we are in a project. Cons If other colleagues aren't using ProofHub hub it doesn't seem to help the project. This is more of an internal issue. It has the proofing system built in, though it can be a little glitchy. It isn't anything a normal person can't catch if you put more than basic brain thought into it. Pros It is simple to use, but there is a learning curve to understand the actual flow of tasks vs creating a project. Cons I wish any of these systems would provide a consistent trainer to guide the initial set up. I had to go back and set up a bunch of projects again just because I didn't realize the flow of tasks initially. I also really like the fact that comments are sent out via email to review when added to tasks, that is very helpful. Pros I like the ability to create copy's of tasks and then edit them from there. We have a lot of projects that are similar but need tweaking or just new ones every week. Cons I am still learning proofhub, but we have a lot of company projects and once you get more than a handful of tasks a day, it can become fairly hard to see the bigger picture of tasks are at hand. I love the calendar view, but often I have more projects than fit in the box on each day so it's tough to get an idea of what is coming up.
