### "The Sales and Catering Power Couple That Streamlines Our Hotel Operations"

December 9, 2025

5.0

Tripleseat combined with Opera PMS has completely transformed our workflow. It bridges the gap between our sales team and the operations team, ensuring everyone is looking at the same numbers. The ability to manage events and room blocks in one cohesive flow makes the investment incredibly worthwhile. It allows us to focus on selling and servicing our guests rather than getting bogged down in administrative data entry. It is an essential tool for any modern hotel looking to maximize efficiency.

Pros

The absolute standout feature for us is the integration with Opera PMS. It is a massive time saver because we no longer have to manually duplicate data between our sales system and the front desk software. When we build a room block in Tripleseat, it pushes to Opera seamlessly, which eliminates human error and keeps our inventory accurate in real time. The Ease of Use is fantastic compared to legacy systems. The interface is modern and intuitive, so new sales managers pick it up very quickly. Customer Support has been stellar, especially when we were initially configuring the mapping between the two systems to ensure revenue codes matched up perfectly. Outstanding value for the money involved!

Cons

While the integration is powerful, the setup phase requires a lot of attention to detail to get right. If you do not map your room types correctly from the start, you can run into syncing errors that take time to troubleshoot. The Value for Money is there, but it is definitely a premium price point, so smaller independent hotels might find the cost a bit high. Also, the data sync usually happens on a schedule rather than being instantly live every single second, so you have to be patient if you make a last minute change.

Reason for choosing Tripleseat

The usability and integration with our Hotel PMS Opera was crucial. We didn't want to have to reinvent the wheel just to transfer information to and from the 2 different systems.

### "10/10 No notes!"

January 12, 2026

5.0

10/10! I have enjoyed the most wonderful experience with TripleSeat and can't imagine ever going back to another platform!

Pros

I have become the BIGGEST fan of Tripleseat! I use it daily for my event management and it is truly the most user friendly platform I have had the pleasure of using! It keeps my completely on task, provides quick and user friendly proposals to clients and allows me to keep up with contracts and invoicing easily! I truly could not be happier to have implemented this platform at my small company!

Cons

NO cons! Truly! I was nervous as I am always anxious about using new platforms but I picked this up with ease and now can't imagine life without it!

### "Easy to use!"

June 5, 2026

5.0

Great experience. The events department preferred this software over the others that we demoed. Would recommend to anyone looking.

Pros

Security was great. We used this product for events at our business and we never had to worry about any security threats with people's personal info. It was also very user friendly, staff and management used it with ease. We never needed to involve IT for any help.

Cons

It was a little more costly than other options. It would have been great to see a better deal provided for using this software at multiple locations.

### "Tripleseat: useful and centralized, room for improvements in communications"

May 1, 2025

3.0

I use tripleseat as a venue provider, and organize small scale corporate and social events. most of my coordination goes through tripleseat, especially the discussions and tasks features. It has been immensely helpful to have all the necessary features for tracking available in one place, and to allow clients to have consistent access to their files and tasks. certain features arent relevant to me as a venue provider, and more oriented towards other service industries, but those features generally dont interfere in my daily operations.

Pros

I like how simplified and streamlined the features are. Any room for customization and flexibility is accessible in another section of Tripleseat instead of overwhelming every feature.

Cons

The discussion system is occasionally unreliable-- not sending emails to inboxes, changing formatting of emails, or clients not seeing attatched documents.

### "Event planning helper"

April 11, 2026

5.0

Overall, our experience with Tripleseat has been very positive. It streamlines the entire event process from booking to execution, and keeps everything organized in one place, which saves time and reduces back-and-forth. Once you get past the initial learning curve, it becomes a really efficient tool that helps manage multiple events and improves overall workflow and communication.

Pros

We really like how Tripleseat keeps everything organized around each event proposals, menus, contracts, and communication all in one place. It’s especially helpful for fully custom catering since it allows flexibility without losing structure. Setup can take some time, but once it’s running, it streamlines the entire booking and planning process.

Cons

Steep learning curve at first Pricing can be high for smaller businesses Some features feel more venue-focused than catering-specific

### "Tripleseat "

July 10, 2025

4.0

Our overall experience with Tripleseat has been overwhelmingly positive. It has helped us grow our event business by keeping us organized and streamlining communication and document creation.

Pros

The number one feature of Tripleseat is the ability to see all of our events and their progress in status in a calendar. It is useful not only to keep track of what’s coming up, but also to spot trends.

Cons

Though improvements have recently been made to the ‘Discussions’ feature, many potential clients report our initial emails are flagged as spam. This is frustrating for the client and the business. If the client has to reach out to us via other means it is difficult to get them to keep their communications within the platform.

The experience was smooth and easy. The team is always super helpful and ready to assist you if you have doubts/questions.

### "Keeping the little guy in the race"

June 18, 2025

5.0

Top rated tech for our restaurant. The opportunity to be posted alongside of much larger restaurant groups through EventUp has led to our offstrip location being competitive.

Pros

The CRM feature allows us to continue relationships past the guests events with ease. Additionally, the speed of response keeps us as the clients first choice!

Cons

The reporting can be a bit much to filter, but once understood, the reports are incredibly valuable. Personalization keeps them relevant and actionable.

### "Tripleseat University Helped Me Understand My Tools Better"

May 13, 2025

5.0

I really enjoy using Tripleseat overall. It's challenging to not have an email draft capability. Sometimes the formatting looks funny after sending.

Pros

The explainations were fast paced (which I really appreciated as a somewhat familiar user). They were clear and very helpful. I appreciated the chance to ask questions and all of the examples they shared.

Cons

The screen for presentation was kind of small. Our event space in San Francisco would be fabulous for your next event in SF. We have room for 100 seated, a floor-to-ceiling projector, lots of natural light, access to bar and caterers, and we are very ingrained in the community and hospitality industry as an incubator program for businesses founded by immigrant women. It’s pleasant overall just the readjusting when things get moved around make take a day or two. I will say I love that it is effective and prompt especially for my field of work.

Pros

Triple seat makes it easy to maneuver our orders. It’s easy to use and makes it quick when it comes time to schedule orders.

Cons

The constant updates and how you have to readjust to where everything is. As easy as it is to use when you have changes made unexpectedly it always catches you off guard.

Fairly intuitive, useful for measuring and gauging individual work load within departments.

Pros

We have a team of 4-5 coordinators. Tripleseat makes it easy to take over another coordinator's tasks and bookings. Also, templates and reports.

Cons

Not friendly with printing. We create physical files for event captains and often have to print screen. Does not show discount total at the bottom of invoice.

January 7, 2025

4.0

Very Good. I work with both Tripleseat and Perfect Venue.

Pros

Easy To Use, Set Up, and Make Changes. The BEO's are well formatted and easy for the client to read. My favorite is that you can turn an event lost and it comes off the calendar but all the contact information is still captured.

Cons

The COST of Tripleseat software vs. competitor like Perfect Venue. Tripleseat double the price and not much different.

### "Rosie's Review"

October 29, 2024

5.0

The software is easy to learn and very organized. It's very customizable, as I don't use every feature and I don't feel like I need to for each booking. There are some features I only use once in a while, but are so awesome that they are available in the same software. I'm able to work with ease and cut my documentation time in half. I'm a huge fan of how I can keep track of each interaction I have with our guests, so I can create lasting relationships with everyone I speak with.

Pros

I love how many ways you can diversify and collect data and contacts through each function. Being able to document each interaction with a guest has been paramount in creating the best and most unique experience for our clients.

Cons

I'm not a fan of how contacts must be assigned to a booking. Some guests have the same names and I have to create an odd name to separate it from a previous unrelated booking.

### "Your Most Loyal Tripleseat User"

November 4, 2024

5.0

I love Tripleseat and have been a very loyal user for almost 10 years now. I have recommended it consistently and always insist on using it with all of my clients. Additionally, your staff has always been wonderful - from \[sensitive content hidden\], down to all of the sales managers and ops managers and even help desk folks I've worked with throughout the years.

Pros

Ease of use, easy & clear way to communicate with clients & staff members. Partnerships and linking to other software that I use regularly like Open Table and Prismm.

Cons

I think the biggest issue I have is the concern that my emails (coming through Tripleseat) often get filtered into client's spam and they don't receive the emails or contracts that I send. Also, I would like the ability to send multiple contracts at once to a client through the "booking" portal. It makes it very cumbersome and confusing for the client when I am sending multiple contracts with different emails. There are a few smaller issues here and there, but I think those are the biggest ones. OH! And also - please bring back the sales funnel that used to be on the reports page!!! I miss it so much!!

### "Tripleseat - Triple Threat: Organization, Communication, Efficiency "

November 4, 2024

5.0

I won't consider taking a job at a venue that DOESN'T use Tripleseat - it is a fantastic product!

Pros

I love the automated tasks that keep me organized so I don't have to rely on my memory or handwritten lists to keep track of hundreds of tasks. I also love the discussion templates as they give me the ability to communicate quickly with clients, and I can see when they have opened/read my messages.

Cons

There isn't a lot of downsides, but a couple of improvements I would love to see: - Drop down options for declining a lead (helps simplify reporting) - More CRM abilities within Contacts such as tracking touchpoints, notes, in person tours, sending gifts, etc.
