### "Gather is a Lifesaver!"

Gather is a life saver! I do not know how I would keep up with our busy event schedule without it!

Pros

Gather is very user friendly and helps me keep our event calendar clean and organized. It is fantastic for communicating with both guests and our management team throughout the company.

Cons

I have nothing negative to say about Gather. I have had nothing but a pleasant experience. Even if I do run into a software glitch every now and then, I am able to call Gather Support and receive immediate assistance to solve the problem.

Great experience. Their customer service is almost immediate.

Pros

I have used this product in three different roles. The first I pioneered the purchase and set up, in the second I assisted in swapping from this product a different one and now I am back in this progam again. This product is the fastest and easiest to use of all of the leading companies.

Cons

There needs to be greater reporting capabilities to compare past data and current trends. There are ways to work around this but they take a little longer.

Pros

Gather is great for any event planner, whether its small scale or large scale. I love how easy it is to use, great functions and how it is still evolving and adding new features to help make event planning seem-less.

Cons

One day I hope it adds the feature for when booking leads to select multiple dates for the lead. That is my biggest gripe. Also I do have to send a lot of emails through my personal email, as sometimes sending them through gather, my prospective clients do not receive them.

Pros

My favorite part of Gather is the centralized source of information. The entire team has access to communication with the client. The client has up to date access to menus, details, and financials. The team can communicate within each event. The leads form, booking templates, email templates, and generated documents look sharp and make my job a million times easier. There are so many new features since we began with Gather in 2014 and it just keeps getting better.

Cons

The one thing that would be nice is to have a backlog of changes on proposals. Sometimes things get changed accidentally or the client wants to go back to a previous version proposal and I can't access it.

I have really enjoyed the switch to Gather, I would recommend keeping old event orders for a few years if you have repeat business. When moving information menus and details are not included, or they weren't with us. We have lots of repeat business so those notes are essential. In a few years I won't need to keep any information because everything will be readily available in Gather!!

Pros

Gather is super intuitive, IPhone users will love the software! Also I love the phone app, even if you are away during the event you have all the information at your fingertips.

Cons

When you add a new contact the cursor does not self populate, its small but irritating, lol.

Pros

What I like the most about this software is the ability to look at all my leads in one and contact them in order. I can assign tasks to myself so I can stay busy day per day. I can also put a contract together quickly and efficiently.

Cons

If there was anything I think it has to do with the reports. We've had a bit of trouble getting certain reports to run for us, but the customer support has helped tremendously!

Gather makes planning an event so easy. All of my correspondences with my guests are in one place so I can go back and look at past conversations if I need clarification on something. Anytime I have a question the customer support team is available, friendly and happy to help. I've used quite a few other event softwares and Gather is by far my favorite.

Pros

The Gather software is so user friendly, I can create an event order in seconds. I can respond to leads and emails even when I'm not at the office.

Cons

I can't think of a feature that I do not like.

Gather support is always responsive and great. Overall experience is a 5 star!

Pros

Easy to use! I have been using this software for our private events for over 2 years now. Its so user friendly and i can have an Event BEO created within minutes. I would recommend to everyone.

Cons

The only downside i have right now is that the guest feedback responses are not going through to all guests. These are important to me as we have multiple locations and i am unable to be at every event booking.

When looking for a new system a few years ago, we were looking for a program that would bring all aspects of our catering program together. We feel that each one of the updates that Gather has made have been useful .

Pros

For our catering company with multiple venues we love the ease of use for both us and our clients. We love how Gather seamlessly combines the booking process all the way through to the billing process.

Cons

We would love if the due dates had a notification option a lot like a calendar reminder.

Overall it has helped us stay organized as a group that books a lot of social bookings. I wish the documents were easier to customize specifically to different needs of bookings and that there were clearer options in how to format the information.

Pros

the organization of communication docs and picklists in the same place

Cons

Customer support severely lacking, I've reached out multiple times and have received no answer. The forms are not user friendly to customize and isolating fields to update are not easy to do.

We use tripleseat to track our caterings and be able to share them from different areas of the state.

Pros

Tripleseat is a great tool to help with organization of catering/delivery clientele. You are able to put in your contacts and leads, create events for them, reference them in the future, as well as run reporting by timeframe to increase marketing effectiveness.

Cons

The system works well, but can be touchy. You have to really know it in order to get the most out of it.

Overall its better than other platforms I've worked with.

Pros

Payments are easily tracked by event and location.

Cons

Export reports can be better to track payments. For example, I have to pull two different reports to track a settlement (gross payment less tripleseat and stripe fees) to an event & location - the Payments Report and the CC Processing Report. The payment report doesn't show the settlement date it was paid out in or the stripe fees and tripleseat fees.

With all our event information in one place, it has made our business run smoother on an everyday basis. When one of our staff members are out and we get a call from a client wanting to know if something has been done, we can go into Gather to read any notes that person may have added, see if contracts have been signed, pull up contact information, etc.

Pros

The software is very user friendly. It is so convenient to have all the information we need for our events in one program.

Cons

In contacts, it would be nice to have an area where we could mark "share" contact information or "do not share" contact information so I would know whether or not the client wants their information shared.

Pros

It encompasses so much in one program! I love how I can create everything I need, log information and do my communications all through TS.

Cons

There are a few (very few) features that I could see making my life easier that just aren't an option right now. Example - creating personalized task list drop downs.

I would rate a 10/10, really the best booking system I have used.

Pros

This software is super user-friendly and is quick and easy for booking events from beginning to finish in one sitting.

Cons

When doing updates it does tend to time out and freeze but Gather reps always send out emails explaining what is going on which is always a great communicator!

Gather is for the most part okay. The customer service team is great at responding. There are a few glitches that need to be fixed.

Pros

I like that it is easy to use. If I have a question I can email the support team and they respond right away.

Cons

The emails never show up in our guests inbox right away. They always show up in the Junk or Spam folder. The updates take weeks to fix and make certain pages hard to load. This makes us look like we are unorganized to our guests.

I love the functionality of the software, from the writing process to the use of the app, its all seamless

I wish reporting showed how much business is on the books at any specific date so we could track booking progress by date.

Pros

Everyone is able to see whats going on in the private dining room. From the Front of House Manger to the Chef to the GM and Banquet Manager. It's all available in one centralized location. Customizing the menu options to cater to the guests needs is a breeze! Sending out contracts that are consistent with your brand is important. Once it's worded properly and stored, it's sent out the same every time. All communication between the guest and the venue is all in one place.

Cons

You can't add events through the app. Changing the uploaded documents seems to revert back to older documents at times.

I truly enjoy working with Tripleseat. The account managers are awesome! They are always there when needed, answer questions so quickly. It is very easy to learn. I have been working with them myself for over 5+ years and its been a pleasure.

Pros

Very easy to use. The staff and help team is amazing. They will help create reports, customize your account to best fit your needs and give recommendations on how to better use their system.

Cons

Not connecting to all reservation sites. We use Reserve Reservation System and Triplseat does not connect to their system so when a reservation is made in Tripleseat we have to input it again into our Reservation system and vice versa.

Pros

Gather has elevated events upon the estate to a whole new level. With hundreds of hosted events and leads to track, Gather has mastered the art of organized chaos. Our organization is now able to communicate effectively with clients, track all the special details of each occasion as well as increase sales due to the lead tracking options. Due to Gather, we have been able to increase sales and elevate our events to a whole new level!

Cons

Although tracking client communication through Gather is helpful, it can sometimes be a bit confusing for clients when new emails are sent rather than replies to the same email thread. It would also be helpful to have a read/unread option with the client messaging. Otherwise, it's great!

I save tons of time by being able to organize each event in Tripleseat. All of my emailing with the client sits right within the event page so I remember right where I left off with them without having to search my email inbox. The ability to send contracts and have clients easily e-sign, and place deposits through Tripleseat payments has been so helpful. Reports are wonderful and easy to use as well.

Pros

It's a nice balance of being versatile and customizable, but at the same time not too complicated.

Cons

Sometimes making changes in the back-end of the system can be confusing, but I think overall it's very easy to use considering the extensive features it offers.
