I can see how centralizing work is more efficient and clear than massive email chains. Having the document saved in one place so there's no worries of version control is amazing. It's also super helpful to have a clear chain of approval in the system, so you can see who is with the document and how long it has been held up. Pros I like that documents "live" within the software and are changed within that software, allowing several users to comment and change the document without worrying about version control. For documents with extensive stakeholder input and changes, this is extremely helpful. Cons There are a lot of little glitches that do not help the process. For example, the system automatically pulls the date you entered the item, not the agenda date, and lists that as the agenda date in emails. This has caused panic when someone thinks their item date has passed or was entered incorrectly. The system has also paused the approval process at least twice, halting the process until someone figured it out and restarted it. These are minor issues, but ones that cause concern.
