I have used a number of rental products over the years and this is my favorite. It may not be for everyone, but for individuals or businesses with a small number of rentals, it is what I call appropriate technology. It does not have or claim to have complex accounting capabilities, but the built in reports and export features are more than adequate for a small business. We have had as many as 20 properties live with no problems. Customer service has been excellent. I even requested certain features and upgrades to be made to the software and the requests were honored in a reasonable timeframe. I especially like the email options. The whole process from booking to confirmation to payments and cleaning are automated through these emails. Large companies would no doubt need more integrated accounting and other functions, but with that comes complexity of use and reliability issues. As a small rental operation we found that most other packages were overkill and would cost us much more. For the money, this is the most reliable, easy to use booking engine I have found.

We were looking to expand our vacation rental business from 1 property to 5+. Managing check ins, receipts, cleaning schedules, etc... on spreadsheets was not going to cut it anymore. We reviewed nearly all of the available options for online options and found Bookerville to the best value for the services they provide. Although the system is very easy to use, support / training has been great!

Pros

Ease of use. Configurable. Simple Reports.

Cons

No dedicated mobile application, however the web site renders well on a mobile browser.

I at times have issues with what I am doing on bookerville. The issues are my issues. If I hit a wall I emailmy rep and he finds a way to send me in the right direction. Bookerville has what I need. I am now trying to offer a 1 night weekend stay but I need to increase the rate. customer service agent showed me how to get this done. Once you work this engine a few times it becomes easier and easier.

Pros

If there are issues customer service agent will find them. Usually they are the users issues. You really need to look close, don't rush and take your time.

Cons

Most of the time its ME the users issues. I always try to rush things, and if I read closer I can find the solution. If you cant find the solution an email to customer service agent will fix the issue

Pros

It perfectly suits our needs for booking software AND automated emails. The company is very responsive to questions and are easy to work with!

Cons

Not really anything negative to say - Maybe just a suggestion - having an online chat for immediate support would be nice!

Pros

As a new business operator, I appreciate that Bookerville provides plenty of explanation about each feature. That has caused our start-up experience to be more simple than I anticipated.

Cons

This isn't really a reflection on Bookerville itself, which is not lacking in any area that I have found yet. But some of the 3rd party sites Bookerville recommended for integration have been more difficult to navigate.

The simplicity of the software is awesome. It has everything that I have wanted and more. Customer service support goes above and beyond and has answered my 100 (lol) emails. I even had 2 demos over conference. Can't wait to use more and have access to all the reports.

I am a VR owner and manage it myself. Bookerville was very easy to set up and when I had a question, John and his team were very responsive. Bookerville provides everything I need to manage my property myself including auto-response emails, scheduled emails to my cleaning crew and monthly reports (for transoccupancy tax and vacancy reporting). I don't have a dedicated website for my rental anymore, but I don't need one. I use a couple of the popular VR websites and I can sync my calendar with those. The only drawback is that some of the VR sites now make it very hard to respond to inquiries or book outside of their system. In some cases, Bookerville has a work around for that, but in some cases not. I use this for just one property but I can see that the features Bookerville offers would be valuable for management companies that manage several properties. And the price is right too! I would recommend Bookerville to single VR owners or management companies.

It offers a detailed booking program. It has many features and flexibility as to the rates, etc. For a small operator, it has great value.

The program has many features similar to other programs that charge 4x more. Great value for a small operator

I have emailed for help twice and haven't received a response. A little lacking in customer service as there is no live customer service.

Super Easy & saves time! This software saves me a ton of time when I'm dealing with multiples booking sites and bookings. It helps keep everything straight and eliminates double bookings.

Cons

I wish they offered a website that syncs with their software. I say this to say, they do offer a widget that can plug in to my website which makes it easy to keep my calendars synced.

Bookerville has helped me to take my small vacation rental business to the next level without breaking the bank. I feel like we place a lot of demands on what we expect out of the software and it often outperforms my expectations. The software is easy to train employees and contractors to use and it gives you options to customize and "opt-out" or turn off those features that you don't need or use. I stumbled across the software while searching online for something to help me organize my new rental business and after speaking at length with the owner about all my questions, I decided to give them a try. I have never regretted the decision since. The last thing that I want to mention is Bookerville's forums/blog/FAQs. It really is an open book to discuss issues and feature requests. Bookerville, in my opinion, is the best software out there for the money!

I recently purchased a 7 unit B&B whereby the previous owner/manager utilised a very user unfriendly and expensive short term rental property management software. After countless hours of my time being consumed to perform even the simplest of property reservation and reporting tasks , I set upon looking for something better. I evaluated close to 15 online vacation rental management software applications before choosing Bookerville, and have never looked back. Bookerville ideally suits my reservation, online payment, state tax and income tracking needs. It is simple to use yet contains a high number of very useful features, making it perfect when managing single or multiple unit vacation rentals. The customer support team is responsive and the price is affordable. I highly recommend Bookerville to anyone managing short term rental properties.

I love the service Bookerville provides us with. We are based in South Africa with properties in Bali and South Africa (in other words very different time zones from Bookerville!), yet John and his team are never more than a few hours away from providing us with an answer to our requests. They're always friendly, happy to help and ego free. If there is a glitch in the software they will admit it, work on it and resolve it - what more can you ask for? It is the most reasonably priced software around for the amount of features you get. While there are certain bells and whistles it doesn't yet offer that its competitors might, there are always new features being added. We've even asked for certain customisations (like adding South African rand to the available currencies) which have been graciously done.

I have been using Bookerville for a couple of years now. From the very beginning, after a long research into a booking system which would allow ease of communication between guests and the owner of the property I manage, I came across "Bookerville". All features are a indispensable help for me to manage quotes for enquiries, manage confirmed bookings with ease of invoices. Reminders sent automatically to guests for payments, receipted immediately through the system. Automated reminders to the owner and cleaner after guest departure. The accounts can be set up, which I don't use a great deal, due to the fact that I only look after the one property for a friend. However, it is a great tool to have. As long as the user keeps up to date with all the improvements, it is a wonderful programme.

I have been working on Bookerville for just over a year now and find it extremely straight forward to work with. The programme is logical, uncomplicated and a booking can be wizzed through with ease. When I have struggled, John and his team have been there to help everytime - I don't think they ever sleep!!!!??? Bookerville is also willing to take suggestions on board and try alter their system, to help their clients work faster and more efficiently. They never have a 'stuffy, we know better' attitude. I believe this will see them far into an excellent and profitable future. John and his team are easy to talk to and use 'layman's' terms for me, as I am not an IT boff at all. I certainly would, with confidence, recommend Bookerville to anyone within the vacation rental business.

First of all let me say how much we appreciate the prompt, personal customer service we receive from John. He is very easy to reach by phone or email and resolves issues quickly. Pros: Affordable, time saving features such as copying emails, rates, property set ups and templates. Easy to set up the online booking with our website and credit card processor. I really like the tape chart view of the screen. I have looked at many rental software options and Bookerville definitely gives me the maximum amount of information on my properties on one screen at one glance. It's the best dashboard of all of the rental software options I have considered. Cons: Unfortunately this one thing is a big one...it does not import into Quickbooks. This is detrimental to our book keeper.

Last year i made a big search on vacation rental softwares and i found bookerville i tried for free for 30 days and it was what just what i was looking for. At the beginning my bigger problem was the currency as i work in Eur and bookerville was in USD John was very kind and change everything for me to work just fine with paypalin Eur. A few months ago i send an e-mail asking about if exporting icalendars was possible and in less than a week he make it possible! I really love bookerville the customer service and recommend it.
