But it was very helpful of keeping everything on track and who was working on the project and when with scheduling Pros The scheduling and Budgeting was very helpful in keeping you aware of where you are with the project Cons Making sure all the items are updated with funding was a issue at times. Cons Nothing negative to share as we are happy with the product in the way we use it. Reasons for choosing Projecto Team vote and felt the Projecto system would be best as it interfaced with our accounting system. Even had accounting on the vote. I like the professional reports and meeting minutes it provides and it represents my group well when provided to my client and extended project team members. I do recommend Projecto to my peers. Pros As Director of Corporate Real Estate capital projects I like the simplicity of use of Projecto by Wizard Software Solutions. My work includes the comprehensive lifecycle of a typical office and the platform provides the right level of detail and reporting for my needs. Cons Some features leave something to be desired. Unlike an 'App' that can quickly provide updates and 'bug' fixes this is not that way. It is a specific software release and other then general maintenance no real changes occur. I must say I am on an older version of Projecto and future releases do address these items. I have received a demonstration of the newest version and plan to upgrade in the near future. Reasons for choosing Projecto Simplicity, quick learning curve and quick to load. The 'out of the box' approach with oversight by a Wizard rep expedites the process. They will also make custom changes user specific with ease, often with no charge or some for a modest fee. Cost was a major factor too, this is much more affordable then other such products. This software has been a huge timesaver for us! Pros Prior to Projecto, project budgets were managed by running accounting reports and hand-keying information into excel spreadsheets. Project managers all had their own methods of managing work, documents and schedules and no one knew what the other was doing. Projecto wraps everything into a nice neat package that everyone on the team can access. Cons Filtering data for desired lists/information is sometimes a bit cumbersome however, additional practice may help. The Wizard staff are very knowledgeable and will work with whatever your request is. Pros This software is great. It interfaces daily with our Financial System which means less time is wasted manually entering commitments and expenditures. One can easily look down the list of projects and see which projects are off on budget. The report system is great. We have both regular and custom reports that run automatically. Cons The software times out after 2 hours and closes. This frustrates me since I use it off and on all day long. I would like to be a longer time.
