Blueprint Reviews
"Great addition to the resume!"
Overall: The experience was positive and it was a great learning tool. There is so much to learn about Facebook and Blueprint courses help you to really delve into the platform.
Pros: Blueprint certification was a great thing to add to my resume! The process is thorough and rigorous which really proves your Facebook marketing chops to potential employers and clients. Since the time of receiving my certifications, they have added a number of additional certifications beyond the two that I had the choice to become certified in.
Cons: It costs a couple of hundred dollars to complete the proctored exams, and the exams must be completed annually. You're looking at forking over around $300 a year to maintain the certification. It would be better if it were on a 2 or 3 year schedule for recertification.
"Blueprint Software for Business Analysts is a very good tool to ease the requirement gathering."
Overall: It makes the work simpler.
Pros: The Blueprint Software helps the Business Analysts to capture the requirements in a better manner. The software allows easily to capture the requirements, create usecases and automatically generate the flow diagrams. One can easily interlink the documents, add supporting documents, add comments to the documents and also easily set up the Review process for each document.
Cons: Most of the blueprint tool features are good. As per my experience with the tool, The Cons are initial learning curve which will slowdown anyone to start in short timelines. it has many features and very rarely we use all the features.
"Used Blueprint to gather and manage global requirements for app dev"
Overall: Requirement approval management was a benefit, process was cumbersome and lacking
Pros: The ability to do traces and relationships to manage data lineage throughout the requirements across multiple projects with one program
Cons: The amount of time it takes to manipulate and organize the BRD and FRDs . Approval management is lacking features and functionality.
"Difficult to learn"
Overall: Customer Service is very helpful and easy to reach.
Pros: It is okay- I don't really have a favorite thing about it. I guess that it is inexpensive. Good selection of reports available.
Cons: It is not very intuitive. Lots of steps involved to do anything- could be updated to make things much more streamlined and user friendly.
"Hard to navigate at first but potentially very helpful!"
Overall: Those available to help, customer service techs, are helpful, knowledgeable and aid in learning the features necessary for my usage.
Pros: It allowed for the streamlining of processes such as providing visually intuitive representations/diagrams for otherwise complex relationships between multiple initiatives. If I were in the position to purchase the software for my company, this would definitely aid in data processing.
Cons: From the trial of Blueprint, I had a tough time navigating the many features (not a bad thing) with ease. It does take a lot of time to figure out which features you need for the specific processes. However, customer service was always available.
