Does what I need it to . Plays specials, weather, forecast, customers love the content . Overall it's a great product .

Pros

Super easy to create scheduled content. You can upload PowerPoint or use the content provided by doplublicity

Cons

Videos hardly play . Time resets daily which is a huge pain in the butt.

### "Solid product, but better options now exist for less investment"

I had high expectations, and it has served me fairly well for the past five years, but I've discovered simpler, less expensive solutions with the exact features I need, hence I've moved on.

Pros

Good amount of templates and features, solid back-end interface. Hardware is well built.

Cons

Software is buggy, the uploading process is cumbersome and has issues with delegating content to playlists. Sometimes the player just stops running and often needs rebooting. I've had to upgrade players three times in 5 years which gets expensive. The customer support is spotty and their follow up is below average.

Reason for choosing doPublicity Digital Signage

Dopublicity had the less expensive initial investment with no monthly fees. It had a compelling list of features that served my needs of digital menu boards with easy updating. Most of the other digital signage systems had monthly fees and more expensive players.

### "Good luck getting support."

I am looking for an alternative now.

Pros

Images are clear. That's about it. I guess I have to add more characters but there's nothing else good about this product.

Cons

There are a lot of issues loading images. We have been unable to load for almost 2 weeks. Support from the beginning has not been helpful at all.

### "Worst software I have ever used"

I wasted hours every week fixing these signs just for them to go out the next week again. Horrible experience.

Pros

Nothing. The software never worked for us, no matter how many times we went through customer service.

Cons

Unreliable, glitchy, grossly overpriced. Boxes never worked, signs would constantly go out and need to be recreated from scratch each time.

### "Frustrating to say the least"

Customer service has tried to be helpful, but seems to simply run you through the trouble shooting steps they offer online.

Pros

The company sent out the media player quickly and the instructions were easy to follow.

Cons

It still does not work correctly. it was supposed to be plug and play. After taking the initial steps to connect it our wifi, we have had to uninstall the app and seem to do a hard reset every other day for it to function. The slide formats that the company offers are more geared towards menu boards than advertising. Once the slides are formatted, you cannot preview them until they are updated on the media player. The online viewing doesn't work for every slide.

Pros

Economy. It' had the bare necessities and cost.

Cons

Somewhat counter-intuitive UI was cumbersome to navigate. Uploading files often felt like a chore because I could be sure they would display correctly.

Pros

Easy to deploy. Basic operation. One-time cost is helpful. Ongoing support comes at a cost. Android OS is temperamental and requires cache clearing and updating. Equipment becomes outdated.

Cons

Tough to maintain. Digital signage players become obsolete and you must buy new equipment every 2-3 years.
