The parents loved it and the staff also thought it was invaluable. ProCare covers many of the same areas as Tadpoles did but staff were unhappy with the learning curve as many times when change is made staff, especially the older ones, are very uncomfortable. Pros We liked Tadpoles as it was very user-friendly and parent-friendly. We hated having to switch over to Pro Care but had no choice at the time. Tadpoles had great customer support whenever we had an issue and was a great value for all of the different areas that we used it for . Cons That we had to stop using it as the interface was no longer going to be able to be used in child care centers. We are licensed for almost 300 children, which requires a lot of record keeping, organization and report generating for different areas of our agency. Many features of Tadpoles were able to meet these expectations for us. Pros Very user friendly for both our admin team and the families we serve. We are able to communicate effectively through out the day and share special moments with our families. Pros I like that it lists times of events and allows pictures to be posted Cons I do not like that you can’t view all of the pictures at once. Pros Correlation between curriculum and app was great. The overall appearance was definitely professional and great for parents as well. Cons The app was just too expensive for us to continue. Pros The functional use of Tadpoles was fairly straight forward. Cons There were not many if any options to integrate softwares when I used Tadpoles. Pros I liked the front dashboard page of all of the students and teacher pictures to easily see who was here and not here and for what reason. Cons The app and software was extremely outdated and did not do everything we needed at our center. The help desk and customer service was extremely slow and getting back to us in a timely manner. It took too long for them to finally stop billing us and shut our account down.
