I appreciate being able to communicate with all of the students and their parents within the Communication means, for it serves as great reminders to hit all deadlines, whether special events, or reminding parents about State Testing. Gradelink includes a picture for a quick reference, an academic picture for staff and parents to utilize and peruse, and I would highly recommend Gradelink to anyone not currently using it. Pros It is quick and easy to upload new students, with areas for all student and family information. I appreciated being able to include a plethora of information for the RCS staff, so everyone could have all needed information in a timely and organized way. Cons A helpful feature that would be nice when uploading information for students would be to consider having any duplicated information, such as the primary family contact information (phone number, email address) on the first page, prepopulate in other places, like the contact information within the contact file information (where the address and type of relationship information is entered), within a student's Gradelink file. If one is putting any information within Gradelink, any prepopulation of any other fields asking the same information would be appreciated. It is such an effecient tool to use to communicate with the parents. I get anxious when Gradelink doesn't work. Pros Easy to use, convenient features, simple for the teachers to use. I especially like the duplicate option when adding in the grades. Cons UI UX - it is so outdated and old. If the design and overall user's experiences on the front end looks more nice it would be more enjoyable to use. Working with Vicent on the website has been great. Cons Changed the way Wisedata is reported and did not properly train schools. Hard to get support when it is needed.
