### "Happy Customers at Beaverdam Christian Academy"

I love it and recommend it to most everyone I know who is either starting a christian school or currently has one but doesnt have a SIS or online grading system. I believe this is the best investment our school has made. Our teachers have really enjoyed the gradebook and managing the classroom and grades and report cards through this SIS and it has streamlined a lot of the student information for our school. We are very happy.

Pros

The availability and convenience of the support staff that help you when you need support with website or enrollment processes or even financial processes within your school. I always get almost immediate responses back from the support team to help either build something on your website, troubleshoot an issue or just remind me again on how to do something on my end for my school. Everyone at gradelink is so kind and goes above and beyond to help!

Cons

The APP is not great and I do get some parent feedback on not liking how the app looks and is not super useable on their phones, specifically the glitching and finding grades, assignments, and other features, including the bill pay and so forth. I also do not like that certain reports can not be run easily on my end, including when someone fills out an enrollment form and selects something that says "i have an allergy and then lists the allergy", i should be able to pull a report that covers all students with their listed allergies with what parents have written in this space, along with other written reponses. The way that enroll-me talks to the gradelink reports is not user friendly in my opinion.

I started my educational career using Gradelink, and I am glad I came back to it as an administrator.

Pros

I enjoy how easy it is to use as a teacher and admin. Pulling reports, entering students, and creating classes is extremely easy. We are a Success For All school and have students switching reading classes each trimester, I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to change students each trimester to a new class. Teachers have had a much easier time grading on this system, and previous ones.

Cons

When is come to attendance for Holidays, I wish there was an easier way to input a holiday break across all classes instead of doing each class individually by day.

### "We Love Gradelink"

Overall, our school is so pleased with Gradelink. The customer service, which is rarely needed, is super responsive. The system is reliable and does an excellent job managing our grades, attendance, student information, and enrollment. Our teachers find it easy to use!

It had the features we needed, but not too many. We wanted a product that did the core things we needed VERY WELL, rather than a milliion features done so-so.

### "An Overall Great Platform for School Reporting"

Overall, I am happy with the system. The platform is fairly easy to navigate and, when I do have a problem, the feedback I receive is easy to apply. Gradelink continues to improve the system and does a great job communicating changes and enhancements.

Pros

The customer support is phenomenal! Anytime I reach out with a question, I receive a response in a very timely manner. In addition, the features in the Gradelink system cover all of our grade reporting needs.

Cons

We have encountered many issues this year with parent notification. We use the system to send texts when there is a delay or cancellation due to weather and constantly have problems with people (staff and parents alike) not receiving the alert.

We are very happy with the customer service we receive through Gradelink and will continue to use them for our schools.

Pros

We use Gradelink at eleven schools throughout the state of Florida. It enables us to provide information to our families in a timely manner whether it is school communication or the ability for families to monitor student progress. We have used Gradelink for seven years and appreciate the quick response of the support team when we have questions or need to resolve a problem that has occurred. Gradelink has simplified our reenrollment process by consolidating everything into one platform, saving us time and money in the process.

Cons

As an organization we have had nothing but positive experiences with Gradelink and the customer service that we receive.

Overall, my experience has been great. We are now utilizing the service hour tab and it is very convenient.

Pros

I love the fact that I can go to one centralized location to email, grade, and put in discipline. Also I love the fact we can have our report cards done digitally.

Cons

I wish we would be able to see all of the attendance for the whole school in one window. Teachers who have multiple students in a day are not able to see if the student is here because they are not in their homeroom for attendance.

Gradelink has been such a wonderful platform to use as someone who work as both an office administrator and teacher. The amount of things that can be centralized is great!

Pros

Centralizing all of our SIS and gradebooks across teachers and the school. The ability to easily notify families in multiple ways, as we needed to do for weather closures recently, was extremely helpful.

Cons

Can have a little bit of a learning curve for new users if they are not committed to watching the training videos and reading the training articles. Can be a little difficult to add images to emails.

### "Seven-year Gradelink User; still love it!"

Overall - as a teacher and a parent - I find Gradelink to be an amazing tool from both sides. I can check my own child's grades, account, etc. As a teacher, everything I need is right at my fingertips. It would be difficult to find something better.

Pros

What I truly appreciate about Gradelink is the ease of managing student data. Yes, it will calculate grades for me, but I also have the choice of how to grade, how to weight those grades, etc. It's easy to enter assignments, etc. No more grade book! I also love the lesson planning feature. Need extra time? Extend the lesson. Didn't get something finished? Rearrange your lessons! It's SO easy, and admin. always has access to them, so they can easily access them for substitutes, etc. I don't use anything else for lesson planning.

Cons

As much as I like the lesson planning feature, it is very inconvenient not to be able to access future grading periods or go back and look at a previous period. It would be very helpful in planning from one quarter to the next to be able to access and enter plans for the future.

Overall we have been very satisfied, Gradelink dragged us out of the analog age and into the 21st Century.

Pros

Gradelink makes grading so simple! Administrators have access to a wealth of reports and oversight. We use it for enrollment and communication with parents, which simplifies both processes for us. Customer service is swift and helpful!

Cons

We would love to see an app for the staff side of things, it's difficult to navigate on mobile. It is missing a few common sense options (such as adding a new student to an existing family enrollment without using a new log-in).

I have worked with Gradelink for the past several years and I have found it to be an essential tool in my teacher's tool belt. It is easy to use and helps me make the best use of my limited planning time at an educator.

Pros

Gradelink is very user friendly. If questions arise, there is always a tutorial video to watch to help explain how to do whatever needs to be done. I especially appreciate how easy it is to communicate through Gradelink. Gradelink contains everything a teacher will need to write lesson plans, organize and keep grades, as well as so much more. It is an all around program that covers everything a teacher will need to stay organized from day to day.

Cons

If one does not have access to a color printer, printed lesson plans are not as easy to read. Sometimes pages get cut in the middle of a plan. Using the lesson plan program is, however, very easy. It would be nice if those plans printed a bit clearer.

I love it! It is intuitive and easy to use. It provides more features than I have even been able to fully utilize.

Pros

Compared to other SMS I have used in my 28 years of teaching, it is the most straightforward easy to use. I was the Director of Technology at my previous school - the other student management systems were not only limited on the teacher end, they were a passion to manage on the admin end.

Cons

I would prefer a few more options within the reports. It would be helpful to add/remove more items and to limit for which students to run a report.

My experience has been excellent and I'm really satisfied with both product and support services. Parents too can keep up with grades and progress easily. They are alerted when students receive a poor grade. Texting and emailing between teachers and parents is also easy and timesaving for faculty.

Pros

Their system is seamless, very user friendly, and fits your budget. \[sensitive content hidden\], our assigned representative in Customer Service, is always available. My questions are always answered professionally and if I run into a snag, she is always able to guide me through adjustments or changes to be made.

Cons

There really isn't anything negative I can say about Gradelink. My experience is such that I would recommend the program to any school.

Technical support has always been responsive and solving our immediate problems and they offer insight on how to make our process better and time efficient with their processes.

Pros

Gradelink offers a variety of solutions to manage in one application. The most important aspect I have found is the technical support provided by the knowledgable technicians. \[sensitive content hidden\] has been my right arm in trying to navigate and getting our billing process online and in the hands of our parents to manage. Without his expert and abundance of patience this would be a train wreck for us. Thank you \[sensitive content hidden\] for all you to do make my job easier!

Cons

Not taking the time to find out how much more is available for a school to use before now. Sometimes we have to take baby steps due to time constraints to roll out everything Gradelink has to offer.

Pros

\[sensitive content hidden\] did an awesome job helping me problem solve an issue I was having. I am so grateful for his patience, kindness and knowledge.

Cons

I didn't like having to send an email after I tried to call. I waited about an hour for a call back for an issue that I was really needing to resolve quickly. Once the call came, however, I got all the help I needed. I also really wish the system/program was more intuitive.

I think one limitation of Gradelink is that while its simplicity is a strength, it can sometimes feel a bit less flexible or modern compared to larger SIS platforms—especially when it comes to customization or more advanced reporting features. That said, for many smaller schools, the trade-off works well because it keeps the system easy to use and efficient.”

Gradelink was great! I never had any issues managing classes as a teacher, and it was great as a principal. Figuring out GPA was super simple. The layout for teachers is logical and easy to navigate.

Pros

Gradelink is very user-friendly. It's easy for teachers and administrators to manage their tasks. As a teacher, creating assignments and managing grades was easy. I loved automatic messaging for missing assignments.

Cons

Customer service was difficult to reach at times. There were times I tried calling and had to wait for help, or I might have emailed and it took time for a response.

I'm so glad we have it! It's light years ahead of the SMS we used to use. I can generate schedules, print transcripts, and parents can follow their child's progress in real time.

Pros

User friendly, fantastic support, it does everything we need it to and more. The transcripts are my favorite.

Cons

Creating and populating classes can be unwieldy sometimes. I would love to be able to upload a spreadsheet or give a command and my students get sorted into their classes automatically.

I've been using Gradelink for many years (probably 15 or 20). I've used it for grading, lesson plans, emails, newsletters, syllabi, attachments, etc. I've used it as a teacher and as a parent.

Pros

I love that everything that I do in my classroom is on one site. I love how easy it is to figure out, and how easy it is to explain to new teachers and parents.

Cons

The biggest con with Gradelink is that there is not a teacher app. The students and parents have an app, but teachers don't. We always have to use Safari. It would be great to see the calendar, lesson plans, and class rosters without using Safari.

It has improved my job in the office significantly. It has saved me enough time that I am able to help out in other ways that I could not before. This is invaluable on a small staff like ours.

Pros

I appreciate that everything I need is in one place. I am able to run most needed reports and easily take care of my job responsibilities.

Cons

There are some reports I wish were possible, but the reason I'm going with 5 stars is because any time it won't do what I want it to do, customer service is quick to show me how or give me another way to do what I am hoping to accomplish.

Grade link has been a big help to my family. Even if I'm not around I still can direct someone or where to find it to support my children.

Pros

Graselink is my one stop shop. For anything education and school wise. I'm able to get un answered questions answered immediately. It's very easy to use and if I need help with anything someone is always there to help. Grade link is my stress free tool for my children's education.

Cons

Everything is all in one place. I don't have to go to several different links or websites. It is also easy to navigate.

Pros

I like the ease of setting up grades. Inputting assignments and grades is very smooth. This makes seeing the immediate progress of students.

Cons

I have had issues with report card alignment being off, but it was an issue that was promptly resolved.

It is easy to use and I like that everything is in one place. I can do attendance, reports cards, teacher page, and communicate with my parents through my email.

Pros

I love that I can put my weekly emails on the Teacher page so parents can go back and look at that instead of trying to find it in an email that I sent. I feel like it is very helpful to me and the parents.

Cons

There isn't anything I don't like about Gradelink. Since I teach younger kids I do not know use some of the features.

Overall it's been positive. As a teacher, I enjoy the ease of communication. The site can be buggy at times, and difficult to navigate. If you click the wrong button, you may have trouble finding your way back. As a parent, I like the emails I receive from my child's teachers. I dislike that I cannot see who inputs incident or injury reports. I don't know who to address if I have a concern with whatever happened.

Pros

I like that I can communicate quickly with families. I also like that my school uses it to text parents reminders.

Cons

I don't like that teachers can't text parents. I also don't like that when an incident in reported in the injury section, parents cannot see who the child was referred to or by.
