Pros We use Gradelink at eleven schools throughout the state of Florida. It enables us to provide information to our families in a timely manner whether it is school communication or the ability for families to monitor student progress. We have used Gradelink for seven years and appreciate the quick response of the support team when we have questions or need to resolve a problem that has occurred. Gradelink has simplified our reenrollment process by consolidating everything into one platform, saving us time and money in the process. Cons As an organization we have had nothing but positive experiences with Gradelink and the customer service that we receive. I think it has some really great features that help make putting in grades, communicating with families, and grabbing information on students easy and convenient. Pros It's convivence and easy navigation are two things that stick out to me the most. I love the communication tab that allows me to reach out to families. Cons I'm not a fan of the section for lesson plans. This feels difficult when I've attempted to lesson plan in the past. Anytime we have come across any issues, the customer service agents have been prompt in assisting us and ensuring our satisfaction. Nothing we have run into has been bad enough for us to consider switching to another provider, and the price is reasonable. Pros Gradelink is easy for teachers and administrators to use, but comes with excellent technical support when you need it. Assignment settings and features are easy to add and change when needed. Cons Although easy to use, Gradelink offers limited options when it comes to display features, and I have come across frequent technical issues on their end when it comes to adjusting past years' information. I use it on a weekly basis and it allows me to keep parents in the loop with how their child is performing in school. Pros I appreciate how it helps me with communication with parents. The email function is easy to follow and access prior emails. The security of grades and communication is helpful as well. I use this on a weekly basis for inputting grades, lessons, etc. Cons I wish I had more individual access for what I can set for my default options rather than having to go through our school representative and have her change it. Pros Customer support has been outstanding since we started using Gradelink. There has always been a very quick and timely reply from them anytime we have had an issue. Cons I have had no major issues with Gradlink. It does take a little time to figure out the admin and report side, but once you have it, it's golden. One main feature that gradelink offers is its customer support. That particular feature is a saving grace. Pros I value gradelink because it it secure with important information, as well as being ideal to share assignments and grading, navigate through each grade and class management, and student information management. Additionally, their customer support is quick to respond and help trouble shoot any issues and problems that may arise. Cons How it locks you out after minimal tries of forgetting your password. Pros User friendly, fantastic support, it does everything we need it to and more. The transcripts are my favorite. Cons Creating and populating classes can be unwieldy sometimes. I would love to be able to upload a spreadsheet or give a command and my students get sorted into their classes automatically. Cons We have had a few refresh glitch issues that have been solved after reaching out to support. Would like to see this added to the admin dashboard, if possible. I never had any issues managing classes as a teacher, and it was great as a principal. Figuring out GPA was super simple. The layout for teachers is logical and easy to navigate. Pros Gradelink is very user-friendly. It's easy for teachers and administrators to manage their tasks. As a teacher, creating assignments and managing grades was easy. I loved automatic messaging for missing assignments. Cons Customer service was difficult to reach at times. There were times I tried calling and had to wait for help, or I might have emailed and it took time for a response. It is easy to navigate and use. I would recommend it to schools and parents. Pros That you can email parents directly from Gradelink. I like all of the different lists that it generates like birthdays. I like that parents are able to update their information directly onto Gradelink. Cons I wish that I were able to import and export grades to Schoology. I wish that we could put our vacation and days off directly into Gradelink, and it would automatically put them into the attendance. I would like it to say the difference between early leave and 1/2 dismissal, and the same with the morning absence and tardy. Parents too can keep up with grades and progress easily. They are alerted when students receive a poor grade. Texting and emailing between teachers and parents is also easy and timesaving for faculty. My questions are always answered professionally and if I run into a snag, she is always able to guide me through adjustments or changes to be made. I've used it for grading, lesson plans, emails, newsletters, syllabi, attachments, etc. I've used it as a teacher and as a parent. Pros I love that everything that I do in my classroom is on one site. I love how easy it is to figure out, and how easy it is to explain to new teachers and parents. Cons The biggest con with Gradelink is that there is not a teacher app. The students and parents have an app, but teachers don't. We always have to use Safari. Cons There are some reports I wish were possible, but the reason I'm going with 5 stars is because any time it won't do what I want it to do, customer service is quick to show me how or give me another way to do what I am hoping to accomplish. It would be fantastic if it could be more comprehensive by adding its own LMS portal. Pros It is overall consistently working and reliable. I also like the newsletter feature and mass emailing. Cons I do not like that it will not sync with MS Teams Classrooms. I also wish you could make your own email groups without admin intervention. I like its lesson plan feature the best and it has helped me a lot in designing my lessons for a week.
